Is a sociopath destroying America?
Who says President Biden failed to show empathy for Americans suffering in the aftermath of the Maui wildfires?
On Tuesday, in advance of a campaign appearance in Milwaukee the White House issued a FACT SHEET promoting a 16-point “robust whole-of-government response effort”971 that included a disaster declaration “within hours of the devastating fires.”972
Biden is busy with campaign appearances, but staffers found time to release a second FACT SHEET yesterday about his whole-of-government effort and planned trip with “Dr.” Jill scheduled for tomorrow. In the meantime, the White House wants those devastated by this tragedy to know:
Our entire nation stands with Hawaii in this time of grief and recovery.973
Yes, America stands with Hawaii. Does our president? Were Americans expecting leadership, perhaps something more than a short, canned statement, a curt “no comment,” and two jargon-laden White House lists of talking points? If so, we are looking in the wrong place.
Biden told on himself when he apologized for taking time to mention Maui during that Milwaukee campaign appearance to cheer the anniversary of Green New Deal legislation he falsely calls an Inflation Reduction Act:
Look, folks, I apologize, because I try very hard to keep my speeches between 15 and 18 minutes, but I got to talk a little bit about Hawaii.974
After a quick recitation of everything his administration has done to support the victims, he got down to the business at hand, like paying your taxes when you make lots of money:
I’m a capitalist. If you can make a billion dollars, go make it. I mean it. Just pay a little more taxes than you’re paying right not [sic]. Eight percent doesn’t quite get it. (Applause.)975
Does this apply to Hunter, too?
It’s not the first time we’ve heard that remark from the president. This was from a recent campaign address in Albuquerque:
I’m a capitalist. If you can make a billion dollars, make it. If you can make a million dollars, make it. Just pay your taxes. Just pay your taxes. (Applause.)976
Thanks to a robust, whole-of-government effort to throw his likely 2024 opponent in prison while shielding himself from shocking allegations raised by House Republicans, Biden’s worries are few. After this destructive sham of a president is reelected, rest assured his promise not to pardon Hunter will vanish as quickly as America’s rule of law disappeared on Day One in the Oval Office.
Sociopath in the White House? Destroying American greatness should be evidence enough.
Joe Biden is no leader. He is not a good president and by all appearances not a very good human being, either. Do we need more evidence of who and what this man is than his sudden recognition of Granddaughter #7 as he embarked on his reelection campaign, or the fact that lounging on the beach took priority over an immediate and visible public appearance to talk about the death and devastation in our 50th state?
Good, ethical presidents don’t repeatedly lie to the American people and they certainly don’t do it in our collective face knowing that we understand we are being hurt and deceived and can’t do anything about it.
Biden’s threats, lies, self-promotion, and sustained effort to destroy America point to sociopathy. How else do we explain his actions or the fact that the dead and devastated in Hawaii earned little more than a “no comment” until the outcry gave him no choice?
Even the worst leaders know when to step up and talk the talk. Biden behaves like a sociopath. There is no other explanation for what he’s done to destroy our nation, starting with the attack on our fossil fuel industry and revocation of America’s border protections. Nor are there reasonable explanations for economic policies that raised prices for essentials like food and gas to levels middle class families cannot afford, or his subsequent refusal to defend America against adversarial incursions like China’s spy balloon and the illegal immigrant invasion he created and encouraged while we spend tens of billions on a foreign war to protect the sovereignty of Ukraine.

Caging migrants in the sweltering Arizona heat after they were lured here by the president’s open border policy points to inhumanity, callousness, and reckless disregard for the lives of others. So do the dead migrants, women and children trafficked for sex, and flourishing fentanyl trade created by his determination to change America’s population and voting dynamics to benefit the Democrat Party regardless of the consequences.
Democrats raked President Trump over the coals for his treatment of illegals. Biden treats them like zoo animals and ships them around the country at his leisure, dumping them in places unknown to burden state and local taxpayers while his whole-of-government protection racket boasts historic progress at the border.
Special kinds of mass murder matter
Americans are routinely shot, killed, beaten, and robbed in Democrat cities across America, but only politically valuable mass shootings attract Biden’s attention and especially those he can use to blame political opponents for condoning racism and white supremacy.
After a mass shooting in Buffalo, New York on May 14, 2022, the president was on site for a divisive speech about white supremacy three days later.978
While the Maui death toll grew, Biden relaxed in Delaware. He finally agreed to visit Hawaii two weeks after the wildfires began. Apparently, showing leadership by offering solace and support doesn’t have the same political payoff as accusing America of being a racist nation.
Only a sociopath would lie to a Gold Star parent
13 Americans died during Biden’s historic, botched Afghanistan withdrawal. As the New York Post reports, Biden showed empathy to one of the Gold Star parents by lying that his son Beau also came home in a “flag-draped coffin.”979 Should we write this off to senility, or simply acknowledge that our president is a serial lying sociopath incapable of empathy?
America is a great country. Why does President Biden want to destroy it?
Homelessness, drug addiction, and crime are now rampant in many of our cities, but we still find the resources to house, feed, and care for Biden’s future Democrat voters while fentanyl and trafficked migrants pour into the country and fund the cartels who kill Americans with their drugs and help our president keep this crisis going.
Biden destroyed any hope for energy independence. Instead, he went begging to adversaries for the resources Americans already own while pushing his progressive vision for green energy neo-socialism.
The president prefers authoritarian rule and outright autocracy when he can get away with it. That means telling Americans what we can and cannot buy, raising food and energy prices to unaffordable levels and then lying about our lives improving. It justifies a robust, whole-of-government attack on Donald Trump that destroys any notion of equal justice, the rule of law, or the values that sustain our democratic republic.
By all appearances President Biden is corrupt, compromised, and determined to destroy America for reasons that make no sense unless he is, in fact, a raging sociopath. If there is a flaw in the Founders plans for the sustainability of their new creation, the Biden presidency is it. With a Democrat-controlled Senate and House Republicans holding endless investigations that don’t lead to action, there is no forseeable solution to stop his destruction of everything great about our country. When his robust, whole-of-government racket finally succeeds in locking up Trump, our hopes to save America will vanish.
Author’s note August 21, 2023: The White House released Fact Sheet #3 today. The document calls the Maui wildfires an “unprecedented tragedy,” which is certainly true. It doesn’t explain why Americans didn’t get a few words on prime-time TV or a filmed public statement with more than a two-word “no comment.” Bullet points in a release most people will not read are not a substitute for visible leadership when tragedy strikes, but as I mentioned earlier in this post Biden is no leader and sociopaths are not capable of empathy, anyway.

You are absolutely right, Sherri. Biden’s domestic policy disasters were bad enough, but now we have to worry about nuclear war for the first time in how many decades? We went from strong leadership to no leadership. Biden’s threats are hollow and meaningless and our adversaries know it. God only knows what he’ll come up with in Europe this week. With any luck no one at the meeting will be able to understand what he says because whatever it is, it won’t further America’s interests.

Chauvin et al. blew it and Floyd’s passengers should have been more honest about him just eating Fentanyl pills.
What is the endgame? This was all done on purpose. Nuclear annihilation? Does the Left want to decimate the planet and start from scratch? Are humans bad for the planet? That’s a perplexing question, Stephen. If the left is sincere about climate change a nuclear war isn’t going to solve their problem, but it seems that’s the direction the administration has chosen even if Biden doesn’t realize it.
As you point out, it seems the endgame really is to break our country socially, morally, and economically. As long as Democrats stay entrenched in power – and I don’t believe the midterms are secure or a slam dunk by any means – the damage won’t impact them. They will get richer and more powerful while the American people’s lives are decimated. After a time the people will thank the government for anything it permits, anything it offers, anything it lets us keep for ourselves. If history has a precedent, it’s every country that decided a socialist economy and authoritarian government was a good idea.

Desperate people will accept whatever they are offered. When people can’t afford to leave their homes to work, find empty shelves at the grocery store, and are left sweating in the summer heat because of rolling blackouts, they will accept any relief the government offers because they don’t have a choice. Nothing that is hurting us is by accident.
I agree their progressive, socialist/communist ideology is driven by their destructive tactics to deconstruct everything this country is founded on and that they are succeeding with executive orders and policies that are destroying the US (open borders, anti-law and order, killing the economy, allowing China to buy all the farm land, etc.). But in the long run, with their goal for the majority of Americans and the millions of illegal immigrants being driven in to poverty and dependent on the government as the president along with those in power create a caste system and one party state, what is their plan for funding their socialist/communist regime? How is it they can get away with so easily violating the Constitution and laws of the land?
That’s a great question, PJ. They have to be smart enough to not completely destroy the economy so there is still enough of a tax base to fund their socialist handouts. Democrats don’t seem to worry about debt or the long-range consequences of what they are doing, so this doesn’t seem to be something that concerns them yet. If you took a survey and asked them how the government is funded, I wonder what their answers would be?
I suppose if you are in power and have every federal agency under your control you can do whatever you want, especially when your opposition doesn’t have the spine for the kind of all-out partisan warfare and massive propaganda campaigns that Democrats are so good at. Ok initially trump pushed for an investigation into Hillary Clinton an right wing media was OK with that but when the tables were turned after trump one the general election he impeded the the investigation into allegations of his possible wrong doing. I’m not sure which allegations you are referring to, Gilbert, but Russian collusion was a Clinton campaign hoax and the Ukraine phone call charges didn’t pan out, either. The Hunter Biden issue is completely different. There is alleged hard evidence on a laptop in the FBI’s possession that was covered up by the media before the 2020 Election. Worse, the president’s statement that he knew nothing about his son’s business dealings have proved false. That’s the difference.

I can agree to that, Kevin and yes, politics has turned into an us vs. them argument. When Biden accused Republicans of semi-fascism he emphasized the battle lines and now, a year later we have four indictments against Trump to prevent him from running instead of letting voters make the decision at the ballot box.
I would never argue that Trump was a perfect president or the perfect conservatoire candidate, but at this point I don’t see anyone else in the field of GOP candidates who can defeat Biden and Democrats know it. If Biden wins another four years – and I don’t agree with those who say he will not run – and Democrats take back the House, we are finished.
