UPDATE August 7, 2021:
Great thing about America #32: political power resides with our citizens
Joe Biden will never admit that the goal of admitting historic numbers of illegals into America is to vest them with political power that isn’t just about voting. What is happening to our country is much broader than the simple exercise of the vote by illegals.
Remember the Democratic Party’s fury when Donald Trump tried to keep illegals out of the 2020 Census?
Today’s memorandum shows President Trump’s inexhaustible contempt for our constitutional system and the rule of law,” said Chairman Raskin. “The U.S. Constitution requires ‘an actual Enumeration’ of the ‘whole number of persons’ in the country for ‘apportioning representatives among the states in Congress.’106
They foamed at the mouth and insisted the effort to deny Census representation to illegal immigrants was designed to:
corrupt the democratic processes on which our nation was founded.107
Everything Democrats disagree with is a threat to democracy, is racist, or more than likely both. That includes handing political power to illegals, asylum seekers, and migrants. It’s not just about the vote. It’s about the Census, districting, apportioning congressional representation in Washington, handing out taxpayer dollars, and the very real threat created by simple numbers. We’ll get to that in a moment.
Every inch the door is opened to illegals increases their political might. What Democrats are doing is insidious and costly. Education for illegals is free. Democrats are pushing to add Affordable Care Act benefits to the free ER visits anyone without money can enjoy. Communities with growing numbers of illegals will face overwhelming political pressure to accompany the financial pressure on public services created by a surge of low or no income residents. We can only guess what will happen to crime rates, though as bad as they have become under Biden’s watch we might not even notice.
The president didn’t create this mess. He purposely made it worse and there is a reason. Biden is forcing Americans to hand out the benefits of citizenship to illegals because their growing numbers won’t give us any choice.
The day he took the oath of office Biden sent the U.S. Citizenship Act to Congress. Like the constant flow of lies and disinformation flowing from his White House the bill put a smiling face on his determination to vest illegal immigrants with political might:
The bill will stimulate our economy while ensuring that every worker is protected. The bill creates an earned path to citizenship for our immigrant neighbors, colleagues, parishioners, community leaders, friends, and loved ones—including Dreamers and the essential workers who have risked their lives to serve and protect American communities.108
So what about the ultimate exercise of political power, the vote? Kamala Harris set the stage when she recently talked about “anti-voter legislation:”109
It will not be easy. But the struggle over voting rights has never been easy. Each generation has fought to expand voting rights, and we owe it to the next generation to fight for every American’s right to vote and have their vote counted.109
We saw this week just how little the law and the Constitution matter to Biden when he extended the eviction moratorium. Does anyone with the intelligence to read this believe for a second that he won’t work with Democrats to find a way to hand illegals the vote in time for the 2024 election?
A much more troubling question is whether it even matters. By 2024 the numbers of foreign nationals from all over the world that Biden has let into the U.S. will be staggering. They will wield incredible economic and political power whether or not they can vote and when they are denied that right, remember what happened last summer? That’s were Biden is taking us. Remember that the next time you hear the president or a Democrat talk about protecting democracy.
UPDATE August 11, 2021:
Great thing about America #33: when we talk about democracy we mean democracy, not socialism
It started this morning with a White House release: “President Biden to Convene Leaders’ Summit for Democracy.” He wants to:
speak honestly about the challenges facing democracy so as to collectively strengthen the foundation for democratic renewal.110
“Renewal” implies that something was lost. I think Joe is confusing democracy with the authoritarian, socialist system he is working hard to impose. Democratic renewal sounds friendlier and a lot less threatening.
The White House selected three areas of concern: defending against authoritarianism, fighting corruption, and promoting respect for human rights.111
That’s laughable coming from a White House that defines authoritarianism, a political machine that oozes corruption, and a political narrative that respects human rights by promoting a racist war against white people.
What’s so much more disturbing is the obvious ignorance of the White House about what democracy is and how it works. Jen Psaki elaborated during today’s press briefing:
The President has said that the challenges of our time — the challenge of our time is to demonstrate that democracies can deliver by improving the lives of their own people and by addressing the greatest problems facing the wider world.112
Democracies are the people. Biden is an authoritarian and worse, a Democrat. That’s why whatever the issue it’s about what the government plans to do to the people and not what the people demand of the government, like keeping illegals out of our country, socialism out of our economy, and racist CRT instruction out of our schools.
Joe and company chose the most undemocratic economic system of all to make our lives better. It’s going to cost somewhere around $4.5 trillion to get things started, but if they pull it off the president can cancel his pro-democracy Zoom call because we won’t be a democracy.
We’re already ruled by authoritarian elites who care only about securing their hold on power for the duration of their natural lives, but with the proposed $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill added on to the $1 trillion we’re throwing at infrastructure America will finally achieve a socialist system. Instead of rubbing elbows with other democracies Biden can join the ranks of countries that focus on “improving the lives of their own people” with socialism. He has plenty of role models to consult for advice. Venezuela is close by. That’s a good place to start.
UPDATE August 13, 2021:
Great Thing About America #34: America does not negotiate with terrorists
How many times have we listened to President Biden spread partisan propaganda about domestic terrorists? According to the administration domestic terrorism is THE thing to fear. The threat is so pervasive that in June 2021 the White House published a National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism that called for America to be “clear-eyed about this challenge”113 because “Domestic terrorism is both persistent and evolving.”114
No negotiating with domestic terrorists
The president is determined to track down domestic terror wherever it rears its evil head:
We cannot ignore this threat or wish it away.115
There will be no negotiating between the White House and right wing extremists in America. Biden will root them out and shut them down with “concerted action” and “coordinated implementation.”116
Today’s domestic terrorism threat will not fade if we simply hope for its disappearance, let alone if we ignore it.117
Lucky Taliban finds out Biden will negotiate with international terrorists
Hoping for international terror’s disappearance seems to be Biden’s new policy for dealing with Afghanistan. What happened this week is one of the most appalling embarrassments to America in recent memory and that includes the administration-led illegal immigrant invasion.
Please stop talking about Afghanistan, Jen. You aren’t helping.
Jen Psaki is so far over her head on this one that she should either stop talking about Afghanistan or take a long-planned vacation. By now you’ve heard her incredibly foolish and dangerous thoughts on Taliban terrorism:
The Taliban also has to make an assessment about what they want their role to be in the international community.118
When asked about a “negotiated political settlement” Psaki blamed Afghan forces:
one, we have also said that there’s no question that the Afghan National Defense Security Forces would be strengthened, as would the Afghan political leadership, if they were to have more success in fighting back. There’s no question about that.119
This is not how America confronts terrorism. It’s how Joe Biden and a White House full of identity-obsessed ideologues ignore a massive security problem of their own making.
America doesn’t negotiate with domestic terrorists who are members of right-wing extremist groups. We lock them up and throw away the key.
The Taliban is another matter. If we agree to join hands with these terrorists, discard the memory of 9/11 because it conflicts with the administration’s message about terrorism on January 6, and rely on the will of the international community to make everything better we won’t have to worry, right Joe?
UPDATE August 15, 2021:
Great Thing About America #35: America leads the world
No, we don’t according to the president.
Biden recently claimed that he will help America “once again lead the world.”121 He didn’t say who is in charge or why we’re not leading the world now. Instead, he is proving the truth of his words.
In one short week our commander-in-chief not only gave in to Taliban rule in Afghanistan, he let the world know loud and clear that we expect these terrorists to do the right thing by the international community and the U.S. In case this isn’t enough to permanently tarnish America’s reputation for strength, Obama retread Andrew Mayorkas announced off mike that the unwashed masses swarming over our southern border are more than we can cope with.
That’s after an embarrassing display of internal rot at the Olympics thanks to the anti-American narrative spread by the Democrat Party. While we showed the world externally how much we despise ourselves, internally the administration attacked Florida Governor Rick DeSantis and bribed Florida schools to impose a mask mandate as the Delta variant sweeps across the country, kills more Americans, threatens our recovery, and poses absolutely no risk of a serious investigation or punitive action against China, the WHO, or public health dictator Fauci. Instead, the Democrat-controlled House is investigating the American people’s ties to white supremacy.
That investigation brings us back to the self-hatred behind Biden’s “once again” comment. He continues to be perfectly clear that he doesn’t think America is a world leader and a great place filled with great people. His astounding naiveté over Afghanistan proves the truth of his words.
9:47 a.m. Moments after I finished this update the news broke that Afghan President Ghani had left the country. The devastation that follows is emblematic of what the world should expect from the Biden administration and a nation that was second to none before the Democrat Party took over the White House. This is a day that will shame us for decades to come.
UPDATE August 16, 2021:
Great Thing About America #36: our leaders accept responsibility for their actions
1:03 p.m.: To be entirely truthful this isn’t a great thing about America. Our presidents are adept at shifting blame to their predecessors, which is precisely what we should expect from Joe Biden when he makes his statement today on the disastrous consequences of his sudden pullout from Afghanistan. The difference for Biden is the extremity of his party’s hatred for Trump and Democrats’ eagerness to demand responsibility they would never accept themselves.
Democrats insisted the Trump administration accept responsibility for everything from January 6 to the management of the COVID pandemic, which at one point elicited a complaint letter from 69 Democrats:
We will not allow health experts to be silenced,” said Congresswoman Jayapal. “At a time when we’ve already lost more American lives from COVID-19 than we did during World War I, the Trump administration must take responsibility for spreading misinformation and engaging in a fully flawed response effort instead of corruptly trying to hide the truth, cover up the facts and change the data.” 122
Democrats ruthlessly attacked Trump for pulling out of Obama’s Iran nuclear deal and insisted that “he will be the one responsible for Iran’s nuclear program.” 123 They even asked him to take responsibility for their propaganda-fabricated threat of white supremacy by demanding he denounce right wing extremism that he never advocated.
Now it’s time for Joe Biden to accept the same responsibility Democrats demanded of Trump. Let’s keep it simple and start with Afghanistan. We’ll get to the border and COVID later.
3:30 p.m.: In a confusing address rationalizing his Afghanistan policy the president blamed the Afghan people for not having the will to fight for their country. He noted that our mission to “degrade” terrorists in Afghanistan was a success. Apparently that’s justification for America to turn her back and walk away.
Perhaps during his vacation he didn’t have access to the media the rest of us do. Taliban terrorists are in charge of Afghanistan now. A week ago they were not. They now have a country all to themselves to train more terrorists and launch attacks on the U.S. and our allies. They did not have this a week ago. According to news reports they are engaging in horrific acts of violence evident in the desperation of the Afghan people to get out of the country. A week ago this was not happening, or at least not to the extent we should expect in the days to come.
Worst of all, the world heard from an American president whose idea of responsibility is to walk away from a situation we bear responsibility for. This is a national embarrassment that somehow, against all odds Biden managed to make worse in the space of a few, short responsibility-shirking moments.
UPDATE August 17, 2021:
Great thing about America #37: our presidents know when it’s time to talk to the people like we’re not idiots
Not this president, though. Biden’s comments yesterday during his few short moments in the spotlight ran the gamut from ridiculous to insulting. The American people are not idiots. We don’t like being talked to like we are, especially by a politician.
One sentence before the president turned tail, refused questions, and fled back to wherever he is hiding during this crisis sums up the White House approach to communicating with the public:
My national security team and I have been closely monitoring the situation on the ground in Afghanistan and moving quickly to execute the plans we had put in place to respond to every constituency, including — and contingency — including the rapid collapse we’re seeing now.124
Just to be sure we got the message he said it again:
We were clear-eyed about the risks. We planned for every contingency.125
The American people are not stupid. We have TVs. We even know how to use the internet and most of us can read. If what we’re seeing is the result of planning for every contingency what do you think will happen when absent Joe and the best people identity politics can choose get caught in a crisis with their pants down and no plan in sight? My guess is he’ll make the same speech we heard yesterday with the assumption that we’re the stupid ones.
UPDATE August 18, 2021:
Great thing about America Biden just destroyed #38: Americans trust our government not to leave them behind
We haven’t heard much from our commander-in-chief since Monday’s short, blame-laden statement. In his absence we’ll let Nancy Pelosi do the talking.
Pelosi’s remarks after the president’s single solitary appearance don’t bode well for the fate of the Americans Biden left stranded. She asked us to “pray for the safe return” of those “defending the lives of Americans and our Afghan partners”126 and then she got to the narrative that really matters to the Democrat Party:
It is critical that the United States and the international community come together to protect the people of Afghanistan, especially the women and girls who are at the greatest risk.127
Let’s set aside the fact that no one is going to protect the women and girls in Afghanistan. What about the Americans left behind? This is what Pelosi wants us to know:
The President is to be commended for his strong leadership and exceptional focus on bringing American military involvement in Afghanistan to an end. He does so ensuring that Americans and our Afghan partners make it to safety as soon as possible and with a continuing laser focus on counterterrorism efforts to protect U.S. interests at home and abroad.128
Like far too much of what she says that statement is not true. From all appearances Biden has ensured nothing despite assuring the nation that “We planned for every contingency.” Lucky for our speaker she is in Washington, not Afghanistan or she would probably have a different view of what making it to safety as soon as possible means.
Yesterday Republicans pleaded for an evacuation strategy:
Americans and Afghan partners alike need an evacuation plan – not platitudes. They have been abandoned behind enemy lines with their lives on the line.129
Platitudes are what we got from Biden and Pelosi. Yesterday National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan had an opportunity to explain how we get Americans out:
So, as I’ve said before, we have been working, engaging, coordinating with Taliban elements on the ground to ensure safe passage.130
If we have to trust the Taliban to save our fellow Americans then not only is there no plan, Biden left them behind in grave danger. I think most of us have already figured that out.
UPDATE August 23, 2021:
Great thing about America #39: the world knows that America is a reliable friend and ally
Every country on earth, even those that hate us know that when tragedy strikes America is here to help. We provide assistance, support, and save lives after earthquakes, pestilence, floods, even violent political conflict (Obama’s red line in Syria excluded, of course).
Joe Biden destroyed that faith in America’s reliability. The world sees that America under Biden can’t even safeguard its own people. We’re compromised because of a president with increasingly suspect faculties and a team of advisors whose blunders with the Southern border seem disturbingly similar to the pictures we’re seeing in Afghanistan. Worst of all, we keep hearing the same narrative about the amazing job the administration is doing getting our people out as if we can’t see that the planning for our exit was bungled beyond anything we could have feared.
The world sees this, too. This is not the message to send to our allies who now have cause to question how reliable of a partner we are. We didn’t make sure Americans were safe before we withdrew. We left military technology in the hands of the Taliban. We will leave Afghans who helped us in harm’s way. We are forced to rely on the Taliban to do the right thing, a dangerous oxymoron and situation we would not be in if Trump was still president.
Our friends and allies aren’t the only ones who see this. It goes without saying that this is not the message to send to our enemies, either.
It’s going to take time and a new administration that knows what it’s doing to regain faith in America as an unshakable ally that can be trusted to not do something foolhardy and reckless. Until then and assuming we make it that far Americans need to strap in for a very rough and dangerous ride.
UPDATE August 26, 2021:
Great thing about America #40: America knows who our enemies are and who they are not
President Biden’s worsening international catastrophe just killed 12 Americans and nullified one of his biggest lies about the American people.
A few weeks ago white supremacists (e.g., Trump voters) were the biggest terror threat America faced. Americans were America’s greatest enemies. Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Commission was ready to spend countless time and taxpayer dollars to prove it.
Two weeks ago Joe Biden was still rallying America against the terror threat from our friends and neighbors:
We must acknowledge what America’s intelligence community has already confirmed, and what Charlottesville and so many other communities know all too well: the most lethal terrorist threat to our homeland in recent years has been domestic terrorism rooted in white supremacy. We cannot ignore it.131
Now, thanks to his unthinkably destructive decision making in Afghanistan that either disregarded or ignored the reality of the Islamic terror threat we have some real terrorists to worry about.
This presents a bit of a quandary for the White House. After turning Americans into our “most lethal terrorist threat” we face a new and this time very real threat made worse by the president’s obdurate refusal to secure our border with Mexico even though by all accounts it is being abused by foreign nationals from all around the world.
Is America’s greatest enemy still Americans who didn’t vote for Biden, or did he just create a new, much greater “lethal terrorist threat to our homeland” to worry about?
You know the answer. The question is whether turning Americans into terrorists is more valuable politically than admitting the truth.
UPDATE August 30, 2021:
Great thing about America #41: America stands by its highest ideals in defense of our people no matter what
Two days after we received the news that 13 Americans lost their lives to the president’s Afghanistan evacuation plan Biden made this remark:
The 13 service members that we lost were heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our highest American ideals and while saving the lives of others.132
His statement is true. Every one of these 13 Americans died a hero serving America’s highest ideals. What is not true about this historic charade is Biden’s failure to respect America’s highest ideals in Afghanistan just like he refuses to respect them here at home.
The end of our presence in Afghanistan was a disaster that Biden will evade responsibility for despite the fact that as president and commander-in-chief he can do whatever he believes necessary to protect American lives. That includes the lives of our troops. These 13 Americans made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the Biden administration’s incompetence and that is not something any American can or should forget.
It’s a travesty for this president or those in his administration to even utter the phrase “highest American ideals.” This administration believes flooding the country with illegal immigrants serves our highest ideals better than protecting our sovereignty. This administration demands we trade the free market capitalism that made us an economic powerhouse for socialism. This administration backs a divisive, anti-white racist narrative that turns neighbor against neighbor instead of uniting us as Americans. This administration is anti-American to the core and no one who serves in it is serving anything but themselves and the Democrat Party.
The president wrapped up his August 28, 2021 remarks with this:
I said we would go after the group responsible for the attack on our troops and innocent civilians in Kabul, and we have. This strike was not the last. We will continue to hunt down any person involved in that heinous attack and make them pay.133
There is no way to pay for this loss of 13 American lives. Instead of promising retribution Biden should immediately step down no matter how horrendous the thought of a Kamala Harris presidency. It won’t bring these heroes back, but at least it brings some closure to this disastrous turn of events and a measure of retribution for a president whose leadership is a danger to our nation. If Biden won’t vacate the Oval Office perhaps he will at least agree to never use the words “highest American ideals” ever again. It shouldn’t matter. He’s proved more than once that he doesn’t have any idea what they mean.
UPDATE September 11, 2021:
Great thing about America #42: we came to terms with 9/11. Biden destroyed that, but he helped preserve our memory of that day.
We can’t make what happened on 9/11 go away. That memory will be with us forever despite inevitable efforts from America’s political fringe to reimagine what happened on that day.
Memory + time is a damaging equation. The years pass and values change. We reinterpret the past. Consider the epidemic of historic monuments torn down by the left’s wokeness frenzy. When enough time has passed history is vulnerable. Is that already happening to 9/11?
This would have been unthinkable, even treasonous in the years following the terror attacks that killed thousands of Americans. Time is already changing that memory. As the years go by it will change even more.
75 years after Japan surrendered and WWII came to a close we’re witnessing a surge of anti-Americanism that would have been unthinkable in the years that followed. September 11 faces a similar fate at the hands of left-wing ideologues who demand that we change the truth about everything, even the simple fact that women bear children and men do not.
Biden preserves our 9/11 memory
We have Joe Biden to thank for helping to ensure this won’t happen to 9/11. Before he took over we were coming to terms with that day. The Taliban was suppressed. The Islamic terror threat was diminished. Our new president shifted America’s terror sights from Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and other groups to everyday Americans who refuse to support his far-left, socialist-leaning authoritarianism.
In the space of weeks Biden’s catastrophic exit from Afghanistan changed our memory of 9/11. Thanks to Joe we have a new chapter in that history. 13 more Americans lost their lives. Now America negotiates with the terrorists we held responsible for murdering our people at home and abroad. Administration officials even commended the Taliban for working with us to get the Americans Biden stranded out of the country.
Joe Biden helped make sure that 9/11 won’t be forgotten. He opened a new chapter in a book that was at risk of slowly closing with the passage of years. We won’t forget this president for what he has done. Neither will the history books. It hurts to say it, but that’s a good thing.
UPDATE September 13, 2021:
Great thing about America #43: America is not an autocracy
When we finally kick Democrats out of Washington perhaps Republicans will promise to never use “democracy” again unless they have absolutely no choice. The word has been beaten so badly by Democrats that it’s become an insult instead of something to revere.
The president still uses democracy as if it means something. Two days after he announced his autocratic national vaccine mandate Biden spoke of autocracies and democracies in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. He showed an astonishing absence of awareness as to which of the two he represents:
There’s a lot of autocrats who truly believe that democracies can’t function in the 21st century. Not a joke. They think because the world is changing so rapidly and people are so divided, you can’t bring people together in a democracy to get a consensus, and the only ones that are going to be able to succeed are the autocrats.135
It’s no joke, Joe, even if what you said next sounded like one:
That’s why it’s so damn important we demonstrate — everybody says, “Biden, why do you keep insisting on trying to bring the country together?”136
It may be damn important, but Biden failed to bring the country together almost as miserably as he failed in Afghanistan. In the meantime he’s still trying to bypass our democracy by single-handedly shoving as many far-left agenda items down our national throat as he can get away with. That includes his incredibly divisive vaccine mandate. If the president thinks this is a clever way to bring the country together his mental state is even worse than we feared. If he believes he’s not an autocrat intent on destroying American democracy once and for all then it really is time to roll out the 25th Amendment.
UPDATE September 16, 2021:
Great thing about America #44: we celebrate American citizenship
Most of us do, anyway. President Biden mocks American citizenship every time an illegal breaks into our country and he lets them stay, every time we hand them the benefits of citizenship like employment and free public education, and every time an American citizen pays taxes that go to supporting people who should never have set foot in our country.
Today the president rubbed our national face in the dirt by proclaiming September 17, 2021 “Citizenship Day.”138 Not to be outdone by that hypocrisy, he also proclaimed September 17, 2021 – September 23, 2021 “Constitution Week.” We’ll deal with that affront to our founding document in another update.
For Biden and the Democrats illegal immigration is just a numbers game. More = better. The impact on taxpayers doesn’t matter. The risk of admitting criminals, COVID carriers, and even terrorists because we deny the sanctity of our own border makes no difference. If I was an illegal immigrant I would have so little respect and so much distrust for the party that allowed me to just walk in as if I was a citizen that I would never vote for a Democrat, but conferring the vote appears to be their plan. Nothing else makes sense of this insanity.
CBP figures for August confirm the administration’s intent to flood the country with non-citizens so congressional Democrats can turn them into Americans. Of the 208,887 “encounters” along our border with Mexico 115,473 illegals were processed under Title 8.137 That means they aren’t going anywhere but here anytime soon. Their biggest hurdle will be competing with Afghan refugees for taxpayer dollars.
When illegals are conferred de facto American citizenship just because they prefer life in the U.S. then being a citizen of our great country has no value. The flood that we’re seeing now speaks to how little being a citizen matters in Biden’s America unless you belong to the left-wing ruling class. Otherwise, an American citizen is just part of the mass of humanity Democrats seek to control with one big difference. The president can force citizens to get COVID shots by threatening our employers. Illegals are off the hook. They can spread COVID at their leisure while the rest of us risk losing our livelihoods if we don’t comply.
UPDATE September 22, 2021:
Great thing about America #45: America’s president is not a tin pot ivory tower dictator
Americans don’t elect dictators. We elect presidents who answer to the people, or at least answer the people’s questions. Biden’s obdurate refusal to communicate with those the Constitution says he answers to is perplexing. Does the president sit too high in his ivory tower to bother, or is the White House hiding something?
Obviously, these are rhetorical questions. The answers are in the affirmative. Biden displays the height of Democrat arrogance. He put on his dictator face to bully private businesses into accepting a federal vaccine mandate. When it comes to the crisis at the border the president shows similar dictatorial tendencies and a historic contempt for Americans. The White House and Democrat Party clearly have a plan to flood the country with illegals. They made the decision that the less their subjects know, the better.
RedState’s Nick Arama139 describes how Biden ducked questions from the press yesterday during his appearance with a much more approachable Boris Johnson. It’s quite the curiosity that the president is determined to antagonize a press that showed its willingness during the last election to go easy on him lest voters find out just how unfit for office he really is.
I’m writing this after listening to Jen Psaki’s Wednesday afternoon press conference. She ducked a question about Biden’s popularity. Then she danced around a very direct question about his accessibility with some nonsense about democracy and freedom of the press.*
Psaki is not our president. While many of us would prefer that Biden not be either, for now he leads the world’s preeminent superpower. That’s a scary thought when we consider we’ve elected a man who behaves like a tin pot dictator motivated by an unsavory mix of hubris and incapacity. Refusing to communicate with the American people is not what our presidents are about, but since neither is anything else Joe Biden does we should not be in the least bit surprised.
*9/23/2021: this was Psaki’s response when asked when the press could “actually ask the President questions in a formal setting:”
Again, Steve, I’m not trying to diminish your ask for a formal press conference — which certainly, I’m sure, we will have another one — but I will convey to you that as it relates to providing information to the public, elevating the importance of the freedom of press to our democracy, that I don’t know that the format, whether it is multiple shorter Q&As or a longer, formal press conference is at the top of the list of the American public’s concern. 140
UPDATE September 25, 2021: these two words are a giant lie about how Biden is destroying America
One giant lie stood out during Thursday’s White House get-together with the press. Jenn Psaki ducked the truth about our open border with nonsense about an earthquake and government unrest in Haiti and smugglers taking advantage:
Certainly, we’re aware of that reality; we’ve seen that in parts — other parts of Central America as well. But, you know, that’s something that we have no doubt has contributed to a rapid influx of people who were told that they could come into the country and everything would be fine when, clearly, it’s not.141
“It’s not” is a giant lie. The administration is willfully flooding America with illegals, yet Homeland Security spreads the same blatant falsehood:
Beyond the six [Del Rio sector] steps outlined above, the Biden Administration has reiterated that our borders are not open, and people should not make the dangerous journey.142
Lying Joe Biden perpetrated this fraud on America from his first day in office when he boasted about stopping border wall construction and cancelled
Trump-era policies that infuriated Democrats because they prevented the catastrophe that’s unfolding now.
Psaki’s says “it’s not” fine, but everything is perfectly fine for illegals storming America. It’s so fine, in fact, that the president threatened the Border Patrol over unsubstantiated allegations that agents on horseback whipped migrants invading the U.S.
In case there is any misunderstanding about what’s fine:
It’s fine to announce to the world that Democrats will pass a citizenship bill because it is our “moral and economic imperative.”
It’s fine to give illegals notices to appear so they can disappear.
It’s fine to ship illegals around the country and plant them in our communities instead of immediately deporting them.
It’s fine to threaten Border Patrol agents instead of pinning medals on their chests for defending our nation.
It’s fine to give free education, free medical care, housing, resident college tuition, and other benefits that should be reserved for citizens and taxpayers to any illegal who wants them.
It’s fine to dump this mess on the incomes of U.S. taxpayers because Biden’s priority is helping Democrats add foreigners to the voter rolls.
Psaki’s “it’s not” is a big, fat lie from the big, fat, lying Biden administration that wants as many illegals within our borders as it can fit so it can destroy the very notion of American citizenship. We all know it. Even the leftist media shows us the truth every day. Instead of lying about it, the White House might as well admit that it is doing this because the American people are completely irrelevant to Dictator-in-Chief Biden’s plan has for destroying America.
