It’s bad enough that you destroyed our economy, Mr. President, but do you have to rub our faces in our pain?
When literally every word that comes from the White House is a lie to cover up historic ineptitude and failure where does that leave us? We are already short one fully functioning president. When Joe Biden’s occasional moments of clarity finally cease entirely we don’t have a competent vice president to fall back on. Having a second in command who babbles in circles and whose chief purpose aside from checking two identity politics boxes is impeachment insurance is not a reassuring state of affairs for Americans watching their country fall apart piece by piece.
Not everyone worries about what’s happening to America. The person most responsible for our pain is not only unperturbed by what he’s done to us, he’s still spreading the outrageous lie that he’s making our lives better:
President Biden promised to deliver results, change people’s lives for the better, and build a better America. Six months in to implementing the historic law, that’s exactly what he’s doing.345
That life-changing law is the infrastructure spending package. Today the president congratulated himself for delivering more than just promises, which is true. He’s delivered more than any president I can remember, so much in fact that everyone I talk to questions whether America will still be around when it’s time to vote him out of office.
Statements like this wouldn’t be so painful if they didn’t rub our collective nose in the damage this man has done to our great country:
The [infrastructure] law is already creating good-paying, union jobs, helping fight climate change, advancing environmental justice, boosting domestic manufacturing, strengthening critical links in our supply chains, and ultimately lowering costs for working families.346
I’m not going to waste your time with a tedious explanation of all the things wrong with that snippet of propaganda. Let’s cut to the last six words: ultimately lowering costs for working families.
Ultimately means eventually and that’s not good enough. Biden destroyed aspects of our economy that made it work for working families. In particular, he destroyed Donald Trump’s energy self-sufficiency because “helping fight climate change” and “advancing environmental justice” were more important than not hurting Americans who can’t afford Teslas, $5.00 gas, or massive campaign donations to Democrat Party campaigns.
We don’t expect an apology. That would be an admission of failure and at this point there’s no need to point out the obvious. Still, every time the White House cranks out one of these self-congratulatory screeds it feels like we’re being laughed at by Biden and his fellow liberal elites who could care less about the harm they are inflicting on good, hard-working Americans.
It’s one thing to be lied to by politicians. We expect that. It’s quite another to be ridiculed as if we don’t know the difference between abject falsehoods and what a better America really looks like.

Beggar nation: Biden takes credit for destroying America’s pride and self-sufficiency.
Is there a bottom? How much pride do we have to swallow to please the America-haters in the Biden administration? It’s bad enough that we’re suddenly forced to beg other nations for energy. Now we have to hold out our hand just to feed our babies. In 17 short months this president has turned the world’s preeminent economy and superpower into a beggar nation.
After months of warnings about the formula shortage the White House sent out a flurry of PR announcements yesterday to take credit for solving the problem. The messaging follows a familiar pattern. First, blame was shifted away from Joe Biden:
During the infant formula shortage caused by Abbott Nutrition’s voluntary recall, the President has directed his team to do everything possible to ensure that there is enough safe infant formula in the country and available for families that need it.347
With the guilty party identified, Americans were presented with a list of too-late things the president and hero of the moment is going to do to fix the problem. In particular:
To speed up the import of infant formula and get more formula to stores as soon as possible, President Biden has directed the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to use Department of Defense (DOD) commercial aircraft to pick up overseas infant formula that meets U.S. health and safety standards, so it can get to store shelves faster.348
The action items all take place in the future because nothing was done to address the crisis until it became a national political issue that threatens Biden’s horrendous approval ratings. Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), who joined Republicans yesterday to introduce the Babies Need Formula Now Act, points out what the real problem is:
The White House has had months to address this crisis and abysmally failed. Months ago, I called for the FDA to take action on this looming crisis, and the Biden administration failed to provide a timely, substantive response. Like every other crisis he has created in America today, Joe Biden has no plan and he passes the buck.349
If you were looking for a COVID test last December, the scenario is familiar.
In a letter to the Departments of Agriculture and Health and Human Services the president made sure Americans know that federal agencies “have taken significant action over the last several months to boost the production and availability of infant formula …”350 We heard that the FDA cut a deal this week with Abbott to start producing formula again, months after the event that precipitated the shortage. In fact, “within weeks” imports of baby formula should begin arriving to America’s stores.
Imports?
Perhaps Biden’s flunkies can convince Venezuela to include some infant formula with the oil we’re begging for. If we get it to the border quickly Biden can ensure that illegal immigrants don’t have to go without.
America begs other nations for essentials and Americans are forced to beg the government.
Seventeen months into the Biden presidency and we’re a nation of beggars. America is knocking at the doors of allies and even adversaries for energy to keep our economy afloat and now the most basic essential of all, food for our infants, has vanished and our hand is out again.
We’re already hearing warnings of rolling blackouts this summer because of Biden’s destruction of our energy sector. There is strength and pride in America’s independence from want and refusal to rely on other nations to support us. That’s over now. When the lights go out and the air conditioner shuts off on a 95 degree day this summer, when your gas tank is empty and your hungry baby is crying, you will know for certain that the greatest country on earth is now little better than a beggar nation that can’t provide for its people.
No matter what Biden says, you will also know who is to blame.

Biden border update: illegals get formula. America’s children go hungry and get more sex offenders.
Administration’s dangerous, destructive border policies put illegals ahead of protecting our children.
What is Biden’s destructive open borders end game? How many more child molesters, drug dealers, violent criminals, terrorists, penniless illegals, and fentanyl does Biden need to Build Back Better?
On Friday we received another disturbing update from the Rio Grande Valley Sector on who and what our Border Patrol agents are intercepting at Biden’s Border: a child sex offender, MS-13 and 18th Street gang members, a murder for hire convict, and a second sex offender convicted in Wisconsin and already removed once.351
Day after day Biden’s illegals keep coming. In response to a court decision that blocked the president’s cancellation of Title 42, the White House immediately announced an appeal to ensure we eliminate one of the only protections Americans have left. The official statement made the ridiculous argument that the law matters to this reckless president:
The authority to set public health policy nationally should rest with the Centers for Disease Control, not with a single district court. However, in compliance with the court’s injunction, the Biden Administration will continue to enforce the CDC’s 2020 Title 42 public health authority pending the appeal.352
If Biden hadn’t denied Americans a protected border Title 42 would not be an issue, though with COVID-19 numbers rising again nationwide you could make a rock solid argument for keeping the policy in place. Instead, this is one of the very last impediments to the president’s determination to enforce unrestricted illegal immigration regardless of the threats to Americans that grow with every illegal immigrant sex offender, criminal, and gang member who trespasses into our country.
Read it and weep: Biden puts American families at risk and offers only jargon in return.
As with Biden’s other destructive far left policies we get jargon instead of a solution to what everyone except the president admits is a disaster at the southern border:
Since the launch of the Collaborative Migration Management Strategy, the U.S. Government has made progress with its partners on each line of action, setting the strong foundation of collaborative migration management upon which to further build.353
White House communications staff must smirk over this meaningless dreck as if they concocted an inside joke we’re too naive to see through. While they crank out nonsense, Border Patrol agents issue warning after warning that Biden ignores because admitting as many illegals as possible takes priority:
On May 16, at 5:15 a.m., Uvalde agents encountered a single subject walking the railroad toward San Antonio. Agents determined he was illegally present in the United States and transported him to the Eagle Pass Soft Side Processing facility. Record checks revealed the man, a Mexican national, Jose Vega-Santos, was previously convicted for aggravated indecent liberties of a child in Kansas City, Missouri in 2009 and deported in 2017.354
The unanswered question, of course, is how many child molesters slip through because Biden’s policies overwhelm the Border Patrol? This is an incredibly dangerous calculation on the White House’s part that places illegal immigrants on a pedestal while placing Americans and their children at risk to please politicians and activists who don’t care.

Biden Has His Own Great Replacement Plan. It’s About Replacing Everything That Makes America Great.
What possible reason could America’s president have for using MAGA as a slur? After months of harangues against anything that doesn’t support radical left activist values Make America Great Again apparently didn’t convey just how much the White House despises the thought of American greatness. “Ultra-MAGA” is the solution:
Let me tell you about this Ultra-MAGA Agenda. It’s extreme, as most MAGA things are.355
Joe Biden calling anything extreme is laughable in the extreme. He wants to make sure we will no longer be held back by the weight of our greatness and by most measures has been pretty successful. The America that was the envy of the world is being replaced with a new country designed by crackpot activists who hate American greatness and demand we replace it with an economy that will enrich liberal elites and hurt the everyday Americans Democrats keep insisting they support.
Yesterday the president reveled in the pain Americans are suffering thanks to his radical, Green New Deal energy policies. He spoke of an “incredible transition”356 and tried to convince his audience that since he can’t fix the energy problems he started on Day One the only solution is to beg OPEC:
But in the meantime, it seems to me the best thing I can do — in addition to try to get the Middle Eastern countries, including OPEC, to raise their production of oil and move along that route — is to see to it that we continue to grow our economy, create jobs.357
That doesn’t sound like greatness. It sounds like weakness and dependence.
The president also talked about food shortages and then, inexplicably, complained he couldn’t give a tax cut to the Middle Class because “we have a 50-50 Senate” and “I’m having a little trouble getting some of these things passed.”358
Most middle and working-class Americans would gladly forgo the president’s imaginary tax cut if he would simply reverse his energy policies, undo the massive damage he’s caused, and adopt a strategy to Make America Great Again. Instead, the concept that America should be great is now a product of white supremacist, ultra-MAGA thought because of a mass shooting our president is politicizing to distract us from the damage he’s done.
The president has repeatedly made reference to his determination to make his administration look like America. Rather than appealing to our identity as Americans to unify the nation, Biden embraces identity politics to make us angry and resentful and to separate us by what makes us different. After he planted the seeds of racial discord what better direction to turn than threatening Americans with fringe white supremacist Great Replacement Theory so we don’t notice the real Great Replacement of America that is well underway.
What does Biden’s Great Replacement of America look like?
1. Exploding gas prices are devastating lower and middle income Americans who can’t afford Green New Deal electric or even hybrid cars, assuming inventory is even available. Biden doesn’t care. He calls it an incredible transition.
2. Threats of food shortages predict a crisis unheard of before the Biden presidency.
3. A plummeting stock market is decimating middle class 401(k)s and may take retirement off the table for those of age. Democrats will respond by telling us how Social Security is the solution for our Golden Years.
4. Starting with Afghanistan, White House foreign policy adopted a course that risks turning the world’s preeminent economic and military superpower into a global laughingstock. As our credibility diminishes our vulnerability grows.
5. Crises like the baby formula shortage, COVID test shortage, and supply chain disruptions that hurt middle and working class Americans are routinely ignored by Biden’s White House until they reach critical mass and bring Americans to their knees. The message: I don’t care until I look bad.
6. Lower income Americans who live in depressed urban areas owned by Democrats face surging crime that is pushed aside with propaganda about the growing threat of violent white nationalism.
Meanwhile, weekend shooting tallies in Chicago, for example, far exceed any of the recent mass shootings Biden is politicizing while the left demands criminal justice reform and reenvisions law enforcement.
7. The administration is determined to flood the country with as many illegals as want to cross our southern border. The policy is dangerous and incredibly demoralizing for Americans who have no say and are given no choice. It’s difficult to imagine what goal is rattling around inside Biden’s head unless human trafficking, drug smuggling, transnational gangs, and forcing social spending on communities that can’t afford it are a priority. This seems to be the case and only time will tell what kind of a replacement this will turn out to be.
Biden says there is justice, but it’s not the kind of justice that will Make America Great.
After inflicting enormous pain and suffering on good, hard-working people by replacing American Greatness with his Great Replacement of America, Biden has the temerity to talk about environmental justice being his priority:
We’ve put environmental justice at the center of what we do, addressing the disproportionate health, environmental, and economic impacts that have been borne primarily by communities of color — places too often left behind.359
There is also such a thing as promoting simple justice without preaching about race or the environment, the kind of justice the president denies Americans because his activist priorities come first.
Is there a silver lining to all this destruction? When Biden is finished imposing his agenda there will not be enough of an economy left to pay for it. That’s where this horrible charade will end and with any luck there will be enough of America left to start making us great again.

You are absolutely right, Sherri. Biden’s domestic policy disasters were bad enough, but now we have to worry about nuclear war for the first time in how many decades? We went from strong leadership to no leadership. Biden’s threats are hollow and meaningless and our adversaries know it. God only knows what he’ll come up with in Europe this week. With any luck no one at the meeting will be able to understand what he says because whatever it is, it won’t further America’s interests.

Chauvin et al. blew it and Floyd’s passengers should have been more honest about him just eating Fentanyl pills.
What is the endgame? This was all done on purpose. Nuclear annihilation? Does the Left want to decimate the planet and start from scratch? Are humans bad for the planet? That’s a perplexing question, Stephen. If the left is sincere about climate change a nuclear war isn’t going to solve their problem, but it seems that’s the direction the administration has chosen even if Biden doesn’t realize it.
As you point out, it seems the endgame really is to break our country socially, morally, and economically. As long as Democrats stay entrenched in power – and I don’t believe the midterms are secure or a slam dunk by any means – the damage won’t impact them. They will get richer and more powerful while the American people’s lives are decimated. After a time the people will thank the government for anything it permits, anything it offers, anything it lets us keep for ourselves. If history has a precedent, it’s every country that decided a socialist economy and authoritarian government was a good idea.

Desperate people will accept whatever they are offered. When people can’t afford to leave their homes to work, find empty shelves at the grocery store, and are left sweating in the summer heat because of rolling blackouts, they will accept any relief the government offers because they don’t have a choice. Nothing that is hurting us is by accident.
I agree their progressive, socialist/communist ideology is driven by their destructive tactics to deconstruct everything this country is founded on and that they are succeeding with executive orders and policies that are destroying the US (open borders, anti-law and order, killing the economy, allowing China to buy all the farm land, etc.). But in the long run, with their goal for the majority of Americans and the millions of illegal immigrants being driven in to poverty and dependent on the government as the president along with those in power create a caste system and one party state, what is their plan for funding their socialist/communist regime? How is it they can get away with so easily violating the Constitution and laws of the land?
That’s a great question, PJ. They have to be smart enough to not completely destroy the economy so there is still enough of a tax base to fund their socialist handouts. Democrats don’t seem to worry about debt or the long-range consequences of what they are doing, so this doesn’t seem to be something that concerns them yet. If you took a survey and asked them how the government is funded, I wonder what their answers would be?
I suppose if you are in power and have every federal agency under your control you can do whatever you want, especially when your opposition doesn’t have the spine for the kind of all-out partisan warfare and massive propaganda campaigns that Democrats are so good at. When an institution, policy, or person offends them, they destroy it. Even the Supreme Court is a target and the Constitution was throw on the trash heap long ago.

Ok initially trump pushed for an investigation into Hillary Clinton an right wing media was OK with that but when the tables were turned after trump one the general election he impeded the the investigation into allegations of his possible wrong doing. I’m not sure which allegations you are referring to, Gilbert, but Russian collusion was a Clinton campaign hoax and the Ukraine phone call charges didn’t pan out, either. The Hunter Biden issue is completely different. There is alleged hard evidence on a laptop in the FBI’s possession that was covered up by the media before the 2020 Election. Worse, the president’s statement that he knew nothing about his son’s business dealings have proved false. That’s the difference.

Exactly right. Trump put America and Americans first. Biden and his party are owned by radical activists who put themselves first and could care less about what it does to our country. I can agree to that, Kevin and yes, politics has turned into an us vs. them argument. When Biden accused Republicans of semi-fascism he emphasized the battle lines and now, a year later we have four indictments against Trump to prevent him from running instead of letting voters make the decision at the ballot box.
I would never argue that Trump was a perfect president or the perfect conservatoire candidate, but at this point I don’t see anyone else in the field of GOP candidates who can defeat Biden and Democrats know it. If Biden wins another four years – and I don’t agree with those who say he will not run – and Democrats take back the House, we are finished.
