Biden shames our great nation with his cowardice on China’s “lethal threat to humanity.”
As President Biden spends more time on 2024 campaign appearances, the bloodhounds on the House Oversight Committee are spending more time uncovering the sources of his family’s wealth and the stay out of jail deal in the works for the smartest guy Joe knows:
According to whistleblower testimony, the Justice Department refused to follow evidence that implicated Joe Biden; tipped off Hunter Biden’s attorneys, the Secret Service, and Biden transition team; allowed the clock to run out with respect to certain charges; and put tax-cheat Hunter Biden on the path towards a sweetheart plea deal.935
The mysterious discovery of a packet of cocaine in the White House should be a welcome distraction from the allegations of corruption and compromise barking at the president’s heels. It also raises a question about the curious timing of Homeland Security’s jargon-heavy announcement about progress with Biden’s international coalition to battle synthetic drugs his White House warns are “a lethal threat to humanity:”936
Today, Secretary of State Antony Blinken followed through on the President’s commitment by convening more than 70 countries and international organizations to launch the Global Coalition and commit to concrete actions. Through this unprecedented coalition that spans all regions of the globe, we will coordinate and leverage our efforts to prevent illicit drug manufacturing, identify emerging threats, interdict drug trafficking, and reduce both the supply of and the demand for deadly drugs.937
This coalition is a damning admission from the White House that diverts from Biden’s refusal to do whatever is necessary to protect American lives. The president boasted stripping away Donald Trump’s border protections the moment he took office. Bringing masses of illegals into America took precedence over protecting our people from the fentanyl that also poured in thanks to a healthy supply of precursors from China.
Three months into the Biden presidency we were warned by the House Subcommittee on Government Operations that the agents who protect Americans were stretched too thin:
As the Biden Administration fails to adequately confront the realities of an unprecedented crisis, the men and women of the Border Patrol have experienced the negative impacts of a staffing shortage, low morale, and ultimately the inability to effectively perform their border security mission,” wrote Subcommittee Ranking Member Hice. “. . . Border Patrol agents are now critically understaffed, working longer hours but less time on the line patrolling the border as their attention is diverted to the care and custody of families and children due to the recent migrant surge.”938
We don’t know how many Americans are dead from fentanyl or other deadly synthetic substances. 100,000 is a popular figure, but government statistics tend to lag and we can’t trust anything that comes from federal agencies while Biden is president. Americans have been lied to so many times that it’s best to regard anything we hear from Biden, administration officials, and Democrats as disinformation until we prove otherwise.
What we know for a fact is that there is no mention of China in yesterday’s drug coalition announcement. China was also excluded from an April 2023 release promoting a “Strengthened Approach to Crack Down on Illicit Fentanyl Supply Chains.”939
Yesterday, White House Office of National Drug Control Policy Director Dr. Rahul Gupta held a panel discussion about Biden’s new coalition. China was not included in his remarks.940
Biden’s March 24, 2023 joint announcement of the coalition alongside Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also failed to mention China with respect to synthetic drugs and fentanyl, though their remarks did mention our adversary numerous times with regard to Russia.941
It’s no big secret where the precursors for Mexican fentanyl production come from, so it’s curious that China did not come up in Blinken’s remarks at the U.S.-Mexico Synthetic Drug Conference.942
Does anyone notice a pattern here?
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) implored Biden’s Secretary of State to hold China accountable “for facilitating the production and trafficking of fentanyl and its precursors:”
We write to urge you to take immediate steps to hold accountable those actors in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) responsible for facilitating the production and trafficking of fentanyl, and its precursors, into the United States. Countless Americans have died from fentanyl and synthetic opioids manufactured in Mexico with precursors and inputs produced in the People’s Republic of China (PRC).943
The omission of China from the administration’s public discussions about fentanyl is not a surprise. Biden does everything in his power to shift negative attention away from our chief adversary, including downplaying the spy balloon incursion. Now, with his reelection campaign underway it’s essential that the president create the appearance of action to protect America from fentanyl, but his refusal to publicly call out China speaks to cowardice and not the leadership our great nation deserves.
Does this come from fear, compromise, or does Biden simply not care as long as he gets to play president?
This brings us back to the Oversight Committee investigations and the White House cocaine that sure seems like a convenient diversion while Biden protects China, Americans die from fentanyl, and the DOJ works its magic in the background to spare Hunter and make sure Trump will not be president again so this destructive madness can continue for another four years.

Biden and Harris preach the benefits of avoiding personal responsibility.
My student loan payments were more than I could afford. I paid back every cent. The government gave me no choice, but that was long ago. Personal responsibility for your decisions mattered more than it does now. Ethics and the law prevailed over politics. Not everyone honored their obligations, but those who refused were not forgiven with the excuse that they were doing the necessary and proper thing because responsibility is a burden best avoided or dumped on others.
Kamala Harris pointed out the benefits of not being responsible:
President Joe Biden and I are committed to delivering relief to student loan debt borrowers to help them move forward with their lives – whether they want to start a family, buy a home, or become an entrepreneur.944
Heaven forbid that a financial obligation you signed your name to gets in the way of starting a business or buying a house. When politics dictates the ethics of personal responsibility anything and everything is possible, including the newest Biden administration effort to circumvent the Supreme Court and forgive $39 billion in student loans.
The president doesn’t have to worry about being responsible for his actions. The entirety of the federal bureaucracy and most of our mass media are watching his back. There is no conceivable action Biden can take and no dark deed from his past that he will ever be responsible for. Oversight Committee Republicans talk a good game, but at the end of the day we all know Biden is immune to accountability.
America’s moral and ethical decay is a religion for Biden.
No leader is perfect, but have we ever had a president that made America’s moral and ethical decay a political priority? For Biden, it comes close to a religion. Illegal immigration is about our values. Rampant crime is ignored unless it’s a long gun shooting, preferably committed by a white person for race card purposes.
Illicit drugs any American would be jailed for show up in the White House and no one knows or wants to know where they came from. Banana Republic-style attacks on political opponents and the president’s own refusal to explain what looks to many Americans like bribery, corruption, and compromise do not teach our next generation a lesson in ethics, or morality, or leadership. Instead, future Americans learn about the dividends paid by not being accountable and shirking personal responsibility as a matter of right.
We can’t continue as a great nation when personal responsibility is a burden, when shoplifting and looting and public drug use are indulged because our political values demand forgiveness. Morality and ethics should not be determined by political ideology, but that is precisely what the injustice of our justice system under Joe Biden’s control accomplished.
Biden backed up Kamala Harris’ appeal for Americans to abdicate personal responsibility so they can spend their money on other things:
I have long said that college should be a ticket to the middle class – not a burden that weighs down on families for decades.945
He engaged in flagrant whataboutism to blame Republicans for his actions:
Republican lawmakers – who had no problem with the government forgiving millions of dollars of their own business loans – have tried everything they can to stop me from providing relief to hardworking Americans.946
Then America’s president went off the deep end, apparently forgetting who promised loan relief that was certain to be blocked by the Supreme Court:
Some are even objecting to the actions we announced today, which follows through on relief borrowers were promised, but never given, even when they had been making payments for decades. The hypocrisy is stunning, and the disregard for working and middle-class families is outrageous.947
Biden and Harris offer a degenerate, disgusting take on traditional American values and ethics that include not only the freedom of the individual, but personal responsibility for one’s actions. We’ve come to expect nothing better from a president whose irresponsible policies, from incentivizing illegal immigration to lying about his own shady business dealings with his son to weaponizing federal agencies for political protection, speak to the moral and ethical decay he is determined to spread across America.

Rainbows and extremists? Stupid and divisive is no way to lead a great country.
Over the years Americans have suffered more than our fair share of dimwitted career politicians. Incompetence is not a barrier to political office, even when it poses a threat.
The Biden administration seethes with terrible political appointments like Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Secretary of State Antony Blinken. It’s lucky for us these Cabinet secretaries are not within arm’s reach of the presidency. That responsibility is entrusted to Kamala Harris, an even greater threat who frightens us every time she speaks and we realize what will happen when Biden’s lights flicker and go out for good.
America’s vice president is what happens when we rely on identity politics instead of competence, achievement, and merit. She dished up this mess of words yesterday for a Chicago audience during remarks honoring retiring Rainbow PUSH leader Rev. Jesse Jackson:
And early on — just think about it. Early on, he even had the audacity to name this coalition the National Rainbow Coalition. (Applause.) Think about that. He defined the rainbow. He was one of the first to define the rainbow.948
Astronomers understood rainbows centuries before Rainbow PUSH came along, but this is par for the course with Harris’ mindless public utterings. That confusing bit of nonsense out of the way, she segued to safer ground and blamed unnamed extremists for trying to divide us:
And these extremists have an agenda — an agenda to divide us as a nation, an agenda to attack the importance of diversity and equity and inclusion and the unity of the Rainbow Coalition.949
It likely never occurred to her that the purpose of her remarks was to divide us, but assuming she has a strong point self-reflection is not it. The vice president threw out the term “extremists” five times without explaining who or what she was referring to. She attacked the Supreme Court because that’s what Democrats are supposed to do:
These extremists went back to the Supreme Court. And last month, the Court cut off access to opportunity when they gutted affirmative action and student debt relief. (Applause.)950
Then she continued down her list of trending Democrat Party propaganda points, concluding with a comment about gun safety in a city famous for handgun violence the White House famously ignores in favor of attacking Republicans over long guns:
And these extremists won a case that allows businesses to discriminate against the American people. State by state across our nation, these extremists banned books, in the year of our Lord 2023. (Applause.) They banned books and prevent the teaching of America’s full history. (Applause.) All the while, they refuse reasonable gun safety laws to keep our children safe. (Applause.)951
Biden keeps telling us that things have never been better. Harris appeared to disagree when she got caught up in another one of her moments:
Understand what’s happening. Let us understand the moment we are in. And we know, in these dark moments, history shines a light on our path.952
A final appeal to “keep hope alive”953 would be hilarious if she wasn’t one Biden trip and fall away from the Oval Office.
Our vice president is the antithesis of American greatness and one of the biggest threats we face. This is where Democrats and our failing president brought us, proof positive that they care so little about the future of this great nation that they let identity politics make a reckless, potentially catastrophic decision about who is best suited to lead us in a worst-case scenario.
More prominent conservative pundits than me swear up and down that neither Biden nor Harris will be on the 2024 Democrat Party ticket. Just this once I’m placing my trust in the same identity politics that got us into this mess. Democrats will make the wrong decision again because they can’t and won’t admit that Kamala Harris, a woman of color and America’s first female vice president, is a danger to America’s survival if she is forced to step up and assume the role of president and commander in chief.

You are absolutely right, Sherri. Biden’s domestic policy disasters were bad enough, but now we have to worry about nuclear war for the first time in how many decades? We went from strong leadership to no leadership. Biden’s threats are hollow and meaningless and our adversaries know it. God only knows what he’ll come up with in Europe this week. With any luck no one at the meeting will be able to understand what he says because whatever it is, it won’t further America’s interests.

Chauvin et al. blew it and Floyd’s passengers should have been more honest about him just eating Fentanyl pills.

That’s a perplexing question, Stephen. If the left is sincere about climate change a nuclear war isn’t going to solve their problem, but it seems that’s the direction the administration has chosen even if Biden doesn’t realize it.
As you point out, it seems the endgame really is to break our country socially, morally, and economically. As long as Democrats stay entrenched in power – and I don’t believe the midterms are secure or a slam dunk by any means – the damage won’t impact them. They will get richer and more powerful while the American people’s lives are decimated. After a time the people will thank the government for anything it permits, anything it offers, anything it lets us keep for ourselves. If history has a precedent, it’s every country that decided a socialist economy and authoritarian government was a good idea.

Desperate people will accept whatever they are offered. When people can’t afford to leave their homes to work, find empty shelves at the grocery store, and are left sweating in the summer heat because of rolling blackouts, they will accept any relief the government offers because they don’t have a choice. Nothing that is hurting us is by accident.
I agree their progressive, socialist/communist ideology is driven by their destructive tactics to deconstruct everything this country is founded on and that they are succeeding with executive orders and policies that are destroying the US (open borders, anti-law and order, killing the economy, allowing China to buy all the farm land, etc.). But in the long run, with their goal for the majority of Americans and the millions of illegal immigrants being driven in to poverty and dependent on the government as the president along with those in power create a caste system and one party state, what is their plan for funding their socialist/communist regime? How is it they can get away with so easily violating the Constitution and laws of the land?
That’s a great question, PJ. They have to be smart enough to not completely destroy the economy so there is still enough of a tax base to fund their socialist handouts. Democrats don’t seem to worry about debt or the long-range consequences of what they are doing, so this doesn’t seem to be something that concerns them yet. If you took a survey and asked them how the government is funded, I wonder what their answers would be?
I suppose if you are in power and have every federal agency under your control you can do whatever you want, especially when your opposition doesn’t have the spine for the kind of all-out partisan warfare and massive propaganda campaigns that Democrats are so good at. When an institution, policy, or person offends them, they destroy it. Even the Supreme Court is a target and the Constitution was throw on the trash heap long ago.

Ok initially trump pushed for an investigation into Hillary Clinton an right wing media was OK with that but when the tables were turned after trump one the general election he impeded the the investigation into allegations of his possible wrong doing. I’m not sure which allegations you are referring to, Gilbert, but Russian collusion was a Clinton campaign hoax and the Ukraine phone call charges didn’t pan out, either. The Hunter Biden issue is completely different. There is alleged hard evidence on a laptop in the FBI’s possession that was covered up by the media before the 2020 Election. Worse, the president’s statement that he knew nothing about his son’s business dealings have proved false. That’s the difference.

Exactly right. Trump put America and Americans first. Biden and his party are owned by radical activists who put themselves first and could care less about what it does to our country. It’s amazing how quickly they tore down what Trump accomplished and how difficult it will be to repair all the damage done. Unfortunately, we can’t bring back the lives lost from crime, fentanyl, and the other consequences of a Democrat-controlled nation.

I can agree to that, Kevin and yes, politics has turned into an us vs. them argument. When Biden accused Republicans of semi-fascism he emphasized the battle lines and now, a year later we have four indictments against Trump to prevent him from running instead of letting voters make the decision at the ballot box.
I would never argue that Trump was a perfect president or the perfect conservatoire candidate, but at this point I don’t see anyone else in the field of GOP candidates who can defeat Biden and Democrats know it. If Biden wins another four years – and I don’t agree with those who say he will not run – and Democrats take back the House, we are finished.
