America’s government does not promote racial discrimination
It’s not discrimination, really. It’s “equity,” or at least that’s how Secretary of Agriculture Thomas Vilsack justifies the socially disadvantaged farmers provisions of Biden’s American Rescue Plan:
The law provides funding to address longstanding racial equity issues within the Department and across agriculture. It provides debt relief for socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers to respond to the cumulative impacts of systemic discrimination and barriers to access that have created a cycle of debt.52
Like so many things in Joe Biden’s America, socially disadvantaged doesn’t mean quite what it sounds like.
Before the American Rescue Plan became law, Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) was more forthright about who Democrats want to help. Booker introduced the Justice for Black Farmers Act to “end discrimination within the USDA:”53
The Justice for Black Farmers Act will address and correct USDA discrimination and take bold steps to forgive debt and restore the land that has been lost in order to empower a new generation of Black farmers to succeed and thrive. 54
Senator Tina Smith (D-MN) echoed Booker’s remarks:
We have to acknowledge that the USDA has a history of institutionalized discrimination against Black farmers and farmers of color. That is the history we cannot look away from,” said Senator Smith.55
Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) agreed:
For decades, racist policies have robbed Black farmers of the economic opportunity to thrive in our country’s agricultural industry.56
With Joe Biden ostensibly in charge we don’t have American farmers any more. We have black farmers and white farmers. The American Rescue plan allocated $5 billion to black farmers on the basis of their skin color, but that overt discrimination is not what is so egregious about this funding in the rescue bill.
Woke lawmakers are united in their condemnation of racism as a policy driver. That doesn’t mean the USDA didn’t discriminate, but if the agency did why didn’t Democrats put an end to it years ago instead of waiting for the COVID-19 pandemic to hand them the opportunity for $5 billion in preferential, race-based spending?
That’s a good question for taxpayers to demand an answer to and especially those taxpaying farmers who are struggling to support their farms and don’t have the distinction of being one of the Biden administration’s preferred skin colors.
What so unjust about this isn’t what the USDA did or didn’t do that we have to atone for. The injustice is fixing discrimination by discriminating. Only in Biden and the Democrat Party’s woke new America would this affront to American values pass our federal legislature with applause.

Great thing about America #22: schools that teach instead of indoctrinate
How many of us had even heard of critical race theory before Joe Biden took over? Now it’s infesting the schools we pay for, or at least the schools that teachers unions allow us to open.
Sooner or later kids will be back in the classroom. Taxpayers only have so much power over what is taught to our kids. We hear anecdotal tales of parents resisting critical race theory (“CRT”) indoctrination and there is movement at the state level to ban the practice. The governor of Idaho signed legislation to stop CRT teaching in public schools. On Friday The Hill reported that the governor of Oklahoma signed HB 1775 which also ends the practice.57
State bans on CRT are all well and good, but what happens when the Federal Government encroaches on state, local, and taxpayer control of our educators?
This is precisely what Joe Biden is backing with his American Families plan. This massive proposal to invest in the Democrat Party’s future includes federal control of workers employed in preschool programs:
And educators will receive job-embedded coaching, professional development, and wages that reflect the importance of their work. All employees in participating Pre-K programs and Head Start will earn at least $15 per hour, and those with comparable qualifications will receive compensation and benefits similar to elementary school teachers.58
The White House paints a benign picture of Biden’s universal preschool:
The President’s plan will also ensure that all publicly-funded preschool is high-quality, with low student-to-teacher ratios, high-quality and developmentally appropriate curriculum, and supportive classroom environments that are inclusive for all students.59
This comprehensive plan will educate America’s kids as soon as they leave the cradle:
The American Families plan will ensure child care providers, including centers and home-based providers, receive funding to provide the true cost of quality early childhood education—including a developmentally appropriate curriculum, small class sizes, and culturally and linguistically responsive environments that are inclusive of children with disabilities.60
Wait – what was that term the White House used – culturally responsive? Wisconsin Republican Rep. Mike Gallagher addressed what culturally responsive means in a May 4, 2021 letter to Biden’s education secretary:
Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) yesterday sent a letter to the Department of Education Secretary Miguel Cardona to express his concerns regarding new grant criteria that would provide federal funding to support teaching “culturally responsive” education, a methodology closely associated with critical race theory, in classrooms.61
When a name for something elicits a negative response what do you do? You sneak in something else that’s more palatable.
We’re already seeing the start of widespread political indoctrination of our students so they can to live up to the radical left values embraced by the Democrat Party. An insightful article by The Diplomat discusses the political indoctrination woven into the Chinese education system that includes penalizing teachers for not measuring up to the Chinese government’s expectations.62 If America needs a role model for how to get a head start on seizing the hearts and minds of our youth we could have no better role model than the People’s Republic.

Great thing about America #23: keeping Americans healthy comes first
How Democrats hate the words “America first.” Apparently they also hate the idea of putting Americans’ health first, as Joe Biden just demonstrated with the repeal of Proclamation 9945.
Proclamation 9945 was President Trump’s October 9, 2019 order “Suspension of Entry of Immigrants Who Will Financially Burden the United States Healthcare System, in Order To Protect the
Availability of Healthcare Benefits for Americans.” The president revoked this taxpayer protection because it “does not advance the interests of the United States.”63
What does advance our interests? Opening the Southwest border wide, letting in as many illegals as want to come here, and offering them health care.
Biden’s party is ready to make sure that taxpayers are saddled with this obligation. Among other things the HEAL for Immigrant Families Act:
removes the current restrictions that prevent undocumented immigrants from purchasing care through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace while ensuring these individuals are able to obtain premium-tax credits and cost-sharing reductions. 64
They have every excuse in the book ready and waiting:
Immigrants are significantly more likely to be uninsured compared to citizens, placing them at a higher risk for adverse health and financial consequences. 65
“We must finally guarantee health care to everyone as a human right — regardless of immigration status, income, employment, or anything else,” said Congresswoman Jayapal.66
“No matter your immigration status, you deserve healthcare,” said Congresswoman Barragán.67
American citizens also deserve health care. Thanks to Joe Biden’s predecessor and the Democrat Party not only are the premiums sky high, but even Democrats want to dump what they created. What we don’t deserve while we drag the economy out of the pandemic is dumping millions of illegals on the health care rolls so we can pay their insurance and medical bills.
Will Biden go along with proposals to hand health care to illegals? Judge for yourself. This is what the president and Vice President Harris told us on January 22, 2021:
We are deeply committed to making sure everyone has access to care – including reproductive health care – regardless of income, race, zip code, health insurance status, or immigration status.68

Great thing about America #24: loyalty to America and Americans
On Loyal Day 2021 President Biden issued a proclamation about loyalty. According to the president,
On Loyalty Day, we celebrate our allegiance to the project of this great Nation and the democratic ideals woven into the fabric of our Constitution.69
Apparently Joe is so unaware of what he’s done and plans to do that he can issue remarks like this and keep a straight face:
Here in America, loyalty does not mean fealty to any one leader or political party, nor does it mean unthinking praise or willful ignorance of our shortcomings — it means loyalty to our common ideals, and to one another. It means standing united as one people, even as we cherish our differences and respect dissent.70
What does this divisive partisan ideologue know about loyalty to America? Nothing.
Biden is one of the most divisive partisan ideologues America has ever had the displeasure to suffer as our president. He speaks of “equality for all”71 while his administration openly boasts of advancing equity instead of equality even when that means discriminating against one group of Americans in favor of another.
We no longer have any common ideals. Standing united as one people is inimical to what Biden and the Democrat Party represent. We don’t cherish our differences. We use them to push divisive partisan policy.
The Biden administration only knows one kind of loyalty and it’s not really loyalty at all. It’s subservience to a radical left that dominates his party and policies. That means illegal immigrants come before American sovereignty, criminals deserve special consideration, identity politics controls our military, and those who chart the course of America are picked on the basis of their skin color, sexual orientation, gender preference, and adherence to far left policy instead of their fealty to the American people.
There is loyalty aplenty in America between Americans, but you won’t find any in this White House. Democrats bet the future of their party on division, not unity. The notion of patriotic loyalty is poison to their divisive and ultimately destructive plans for our country.

Great thing about America #25: America’s foreign policy guides the world
A week of Kamala Harris’ cackling and bungling across Central America and Mexico is about all we can take. She left us with two choices: bribery or submission because neither Harris nor Joe Biden have the spine to stand up to immigration activists and say enough is enough.
That was bad enough, but Joe Biden’s remarks about a “New Atlantic Charter” with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is a national embarrassment. A fifth grader could point out the hypocrisy, contradictions, and outright lies in Biden and Johnson’s joint press release.
I’m not blaming Johnson for this. Great Britain is a strong, valuable ally, but until now America has led the world.
Where to start?
We will champion transparency, uphold the rule of law, and support civil society and independent media.72
The Biden administration’s idea of transparency is a closed door. There is no such thing. The rule of law is ignored. Supporting civil society means turning a blind eye to burning and looting. An independent media means a collection of suck-ups who won’t hold the White House accountable for anything. Our social media platforms actively censor viewpoints that don’t align with a destructive progressive narrative.
Did I miss anything?
we intend to strengthen the institutions, laws, and norms that sustain international co-operation to adapt them to meet the new challenges of the 21st century, and guard against those that would undermine them.73
By any chance are they referring to China? Not only did Biden rejoin WHO after it protected our greatest adversary over its role in the COVID-19 pandemic, we attacked anyone in our country who criticized WHO or argued China needs to be held to account. That’s how this administration guards America.
we remain united behind the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the peaceful resolution of disputes.74
This was my absolute favorite. Maybe Johnson is up to the task, but Biden couldn’t stumble through the meaning of “sovereignty” or “territorial integrity” if Jen Psaki put the definitions on his teleprompter.
This administration has destroyed the very idea of a national boundary. The president and his cackling second-in-command don’t have the will to say no to immigration activists determined to allow Central America and Mexico to dump their excess citizenry on U.S. taxpayers. In fact, they invited them to do it and now want to buy their way out of the problem they created with foreign aid that should be going to U.S. citizens. That’s how territorial integrity works with Democrats in charge.
As far as sovereignty is concerned, the last time I heard a Democrat comment on that they thought it had something to do with white nationalism.
we affirm our shared responsibility for maintaining our collective security and international stability and resilience against the full spectrum of modern threats, including cyber threats.75
Seriously, Joe? If the U.S. had paid ransomware ransoms to cyberterrorists during the Trump administration the cries of collusion with Putin would have circled the globe. Now we’ve had both fuel and food supplies held hostage by cyberterrorists on your watch. Your administration proved that the U.S. does, in fact, negotiate with terrorists. Why?
We commit to continuing to collaborate to strengthen health systems and advance our health protections, and to assist others to do the same.76
At least there is some truth in this statement. The U.S. will help other nations with their health systems so Biden can pat himself on the back for America’s generosity, but what about the U.S. health system that his party destroyed with their Affordable Care Act and the black and brown COVID deaths that can’t be blamed on anyone but Democrats who designed the system they call racist?

You are absolutely right, Sherri. Biden’s domestic policy disasters were bad enough, but now we have to worry about nuclear war for the first time in how many decades? We went from strong leadership to no leadership. Biden’s threats are hollow and meaningless and our adversaries know it. God only knows what he’ll come up with in Europe this week. That’s a perplexing question, Stephen. If the left is sincere about climate change a nuclear war isn’t going to solve their problem, but it seems that’s the direction the administration has chosen even if Biden doesn’t realize it.
As you point out, it seems the endgame really is to break our country socially, morally, and economically. As long as Democrats stay entrenched in power – and I don’t believe the midterms are secure or a slam dunk by any means – the damage won’t impact them. They will get richer and more powerful while the American people’s lives are decimated. After a time the people will thank the government for anything it permits, anything it offers, anything it lets us keep for ourselves. If history has a precedent, it’s every country that decided a socialist economy and authoritarian government was a good idea.

Desperate people will accept whatever they are offered. When people can’t afford to leave their homes to work, find empty shelves at the grocery store, and are left sweating in the summer heat because of rolling blackouts, they will accept any relief the government offers because they don’t have a choice. Nothing that is hurting us is by accident.
I agree their progressive, socialist/communist ideology is driven by their destructive tactics to deconstruct everything this country is founded on and that they are succeeding with executive orders and policies that are destroying the US (open borders, anti-law and order, killing the economy, allowing China to buy all the farm land, etc.). But in the long run, with their goal for the majority of Americans and the millions of illegal immigrants being driven in to poverty and dependent on the government as the president along with those in power create a caste system and one party state, what is their plan for funding their socialist/communist regime? How is it they can get away with so easily violating the Constitution and laws of the land?
That’s a great question, PJ. They have to be smart enough to not completely destroy the economy so there is still enough of a tax base to fund their socialist handouts. Democrats don’t seem to worry about debt or the long-range consequences of what they are doing, so this doesn’t seem to be something that concerns them yet. If you took a survey and asked them how the government is funded, I wonder what their answers would be?
I suppose if you are in power and have every federal agency under your control you can do whatever you want, especially when your opposition doesn’t have the spine for the kind of all-out partisan warfare and massive propaganda campaigns that Democrats are so good at. When an institution, policy, or person offends them, they destroy it. Even the Supreme Court is a target and the Constitution was throw on the trash heap long ago.

Ok initially trump pushed for an investigation into Hillary Clinton an right wing media was OK with that but when the tables were turned after trump one the general election he impeded the the investigation into allegations of his possible wrong doing. I’m not sure which allegations you are referring to, Gilbert, but Russian collusion was a Clinton campaign hoax and the Ukraine phone call charges didn’t pan out, either. The Hunter Biden issue is completely different. There is alleged hard evidence on a laptop in the FBI’s possession that was covered up by the media before the 2020 Election. Worse, the president’s statement that he knew nothing about his son’s business dealings have proved false. That’s the difference.

Exactly right. Trump put America and Americans first. Biden and his party are owned by radical activists who put themselves first and could care less about what it does to our country. I can agree to that, Kevin and yes, politics has turned into an us vs. them argument. When Biden accused Republicans of semi-fascism he emphasized the battle lines and now, a year later we have four indictments against Trump to prevent him from running instead of letting voters make the decision at the ballot box.
I would never argue that Trump was a perfect president or the perfect conservatoire candidate, but at this point I don’t see anyone else in the field of GOP candidates who can defeat Biden and Democrats know it. If Biden wins another four years – and I don’t agree with those who say he will not run – and Democrats take back the House, we are finished.
