Biden administration’s Destroy America Now economic agenda wants you to be a climate refugee.
You wouldn’t know it from listening to White House talking heads, but Joe Biden just had a really bad week that ended with Jim Jordan (R-OH) prevailing in the House Judiciary Committee’s effort to interview ex-Alvin Bragg prosecutor Mark Pomerantz about Donald Trump’s indictment.
Americans heard allegations that senior Biden campaign advisor and now Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and the Biden campaign interfered in the 2020 election with a Russia disinformation hoax to cover up very real news about Hunter’s very real laptop.825 That growing scandal culminated in an April 20, 2023 demand letter to Blinken from Judiciary Committee Republicans.
To top off Biden scandal developments, an IRS whistleblower offered information about possible White House involvement in the investigation of Hunter’s financial dealings.
It remains to be seen whether any of these revelations will go anywhere except the Democrat Party burn pit. Transparency is not a Biden White House priority and accountability is out of the question for America’s political left, which would never consider holding itself to the standards it demands for everyone else.
Karine Jean-Pierre is the greatest cog in the Joe Biden protection racket. With scandals dropping from the sky like rain, the press secretary used her Friday afternoon press conference to focus on what matters most to a country ravaged by the Biden economy: a federal budget to stop climate Armageddon.
President Biden has done more than any prior President to tackle the climate crisis, and today he’s making clear that he’s not done yet.826
That’s what we were afraid of.
“Not done yet” means another executive order, this time “making environmental justice part of the DNA of every federal agency.”827
Setting aside the absurdity of talking about the DNA of Washington bureaucracy while rejecting the basic genetics of male XY vs. female XX biology, this is a blatant appeal to climate doomsayers, advocates of racial division, and Democrat determination to spend America into Third World territory.
Finishing off an economy that is already faltering means stopping any political opposition to misguided political spending before it builds up serious steam. To that end, Jean-Pierre concentrates on attacking House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) over the GOP budget proposal and threatening Americans with certain default if he’s not stopped:
Speaking of — speaking of, earlier this week, Speaker McCarthy redoubled his threat to default and hold the American economy hostage unless he can slash programs that the American people, including our nation’s veterans, rely on every single day.828
Protective custody would be a more accurate term. Like Biden, Jean-Pierre is a serial liar. If her lips are moving, she is not telling the truth.
What we do know for a fact is that this president has brought America to its knees. While the press secretary demands Republicans cease alleged threats to veterans’ health and food assistance,829 the White House refuses to shift gears on any aspect of Biden’s activist Destroy America Now economic agenda.
While America is invaded, Biden goes out for ice cream.
The history book-ready image of the Biden presidency is Joe’s senile head slobbering over a too-large ice cream cone while illegals from every nation on earth invade our country and a spy balloon passes overhead collecting information for the CCP.
Title 42, our last shred of protection against the illegal hordes, expires on May 11, 2023. Extreme Radical Democrat Ilhan Omar (D-MN) joined fellow radicals to coin the term “climate refugee” early in the Biden presidency. They spoke of “climate displaced persons,” “climate change migration,” and most important, “climate refugees.”830
This was left-wing climate doomsayer nonsense in service to bolstering illegal immigration, of course. Illegals come to America for the prosperity promised by a president working feverishly to grow his Great Replacement numbers and destroy the economy that provides opportunity for those lucky enough to live here, including illegals. A crippled economy requiring dependence and subservience to Democrat Party spending are far more important goals than sustainable economic growth for all Americans. The COVID pandemic was a dry run. Now it’s time for the real thing.

Thanks to the historic success of Biden’s Destroy America Now policies, the American people face threats that will turn many of us into refugees within our own country. Food costs too much. Gas prices are too high. The housing market is in a shambles.
House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (R-TX) details what Biden’s economic plan has delivered so far:
Inflation is running at 5.0 percent. Inflation has risen 14.9 percent since President Biden took office, amounting to $1,098 in increased average costs for a family of four.
Real wages have declined by 3.7 percent since President Biden took office.
Core inflation is at 5.6 percent, more than triple the level when President Biden took office.
Gasoline prices are currently 37.8 percent higher than when President Biden took office. Energy prices have increased 32.6 percent since President Biden took office.
Food prices are currently 17.7 percent higher than when President Biden took office.831
Budget Committee Leader Jason Smith (R-MO) confirms what families in peril from the Biden economy already know:
This is a disturbing and deliberate effort by President Biden and Washington Democrats to put their partisan spending agenda ahead of the concerns of working families.832
Unlike the illegals the president welcomes across our border, the working families Smith refers to are destined to be genuine, card-carrying economic refugees unable to sustain the demands of a failing economy created by this president’s far-left, climate-centric economic agenda.
Jean-Pierre made clear during her press conference that identity politics and climate doomsaying still top the list of what matters most to this administration:
Here in the Biden administration, for the first time ever, we’ve got over 100 Muslim American appointees joining in the [Eid Mubarak] celebration. These are public servants who are tackling the climate crisis, building on the economy from the bottom up and the middle out, protecting health, combatting hate in all its forms, restoring our alliances, and so much more.833
Yes, the working and middle classes come after the climate. As for restoring our alliances, I’m not sure how that slipped in. Biden is well on his way to pushing our allies into China’s arms as we saw with France’s recent betrayal. The good news is that when he’s finished with us, the CCP should have plenty of cash to support America’s impoverished climate refugees. Perhaps Biden and his family can scrape up a little profit from what’s left over. Joe will certainly deserve the credit for making it happen.

That’s a perplexing question, Stephen. If the left is sincere about climate change a nuclear war isn’t going to solve their problem, but it seems that’s the direction the administration has chosen even if Biden doesn’t realize it.
As you point out, it seems the endgame really is to break our country socially, morally, and economically. As long as Democrats stay entrenched in power – and I don’t believe the midterms are secure or a slam dunk by any means – the damage won’t impact them. They will get richer and more powerful while the American people’s lives are decimated. After a time the people will thank the government for anything it permits, anything it offers, anything it lets us keep for ourselves. If history has a precedent, it’s every country that decided a socialist economy and authoritarian government was a good idea.

When people can’t afford to leave their homes to work, find empty shelves at the grocery store, and are left sweating in the summer heat because of rolling blackouts, they will accept any relief the government offers because they don’t have a choice. Nothing that is hurting us is by accident.

That’s a great question, PJ. They have to be smart enough to not completely destroy the economy so there is still enough of a tax base to fund their socialist handouts. Democrats don’t seem to worry about debt or the long-range consequences of what they are doing, so this doesn’t seem to be something that concerns them yet. If you took a survey and asked them how the government is funded, I wonder what their answers would be?

I’m not sure which allegations you are referring to, Gilbert, but Russian collusion was a Clinton campaign hoax and the Ukraine phone call charges didn’t pan out, either. The Hunter Biden issue is completely different. There is alleged hard evidence on a laptop in the FBI’s possession that was covered up by the media before the 2020 Election. Worse, the president’s statement that he knew nothing about his son’s business dealings have proved false. That’s the difference.

When Biden accused Republicans of semi-fascism he emphasized the battle lines and now, a year later we have four indictments against Trump to prevent him from running instead of letting voters make the decision at the ballot box.
I would never argue that Trump was a perfect president or the perfect conservatoire candidate, but at this point I don’t see anyone else in the field of GOP candidates who can defeat Biden and Democrats know it.
