Destroying our children to please Biden’s extremist base will not make America a world leader.
On National Child’s Day President Biden proclaimed:
America became a world leader because we invested in the well-being of our children and their families.791
Democrats like nothing better than to spend money, but investing in the well-being of America’s next generation is about more than taxpayer dollars and cents. It requires genuine vision and not the purposefully divisive, extremist political agenda the Biden administration inflicts on every segment of our society down to our youngest and most vulnerable, the new citizens who will one day decide the future of this great country.
Unfortunately for America, those in charge of investing in our future greatness don’t like America very much. In fact, Biden’s vision for our nation is tailor-made to guarantee America’s downfall. He has destroyed our greatness from every conceivable vantage point, from ending our sovereignty and energy independence to relegating the U.S. to victim status on the world stage to teaching our children the finer points of gender-confused trans activism.
With the COVID-19 pandemic over except for the government’s continuing push to vaccinate babies, toddlers, and young children for reasons that are scientifically murky at best, Biden’s propaganda writers can devote more attention to something even more sinister:
In the United States of America, we respect the rights and dignity of all families. Transgender children bring fulfillment to their parents, joy to their friends, and are made in the image of God.792
This is called deification. It’s a propaganda trick the White House also uses to promote illegal immigration. Kamala Harris shows how it’s done:
And I don’t need to tell anybody here: DREAMers are serving in our military, they are attending college, they are working in Fortune 100 companies. I mentioned the number who were frontline workers who were sacrificing so much of their own lives and service to their community and perfect strangers.793
Biden echoed Harris’ words to promote a different but equally important Democrat priority:
Transgender Americans shape our Nation’s soul — proudly serving in the military, curing deadly diseases, holding elected office, running thriving businesses, fighting for justice, raising families, and much more.794
A “White House Roundtable Affirming Transgender Kids” brought more propaganda, in this case an ad hominem attack on unnamed political figures allegedly hostile to the trans cause:
As one round table participant shared, it feels scary when the politicians elected to represent you don’t care about your wellbeing.795
The big flaw in that statement, of course, is that we live in a democracy where people vote their choice even if it doesn’t align with Democrat Party orthodoxy.
What’s truly scary is that our government not only approves, it promotes targeting vulnerable, impressionable children with gender propaganda knowing they are too young to understand the ramifications of telling a teacher or school administrator they are unhappy with who they are supposed to be. Our union-controlled public schools expose kids to propaganda and media content designed to confuse them about who and what they are and to push them into the hands of gender activists and worse, the fringes of the medical profession.
RedState offers the example of a San Francisco elementary school flying a transgender flag and exposing kindergartners to a book and video that raises questions about their gender identity,796 as if planting the notion that they may not be who they think they are when they are at their most impressionable is a good faith effort to make them feel more comfortable and self-assured.
The left angrily responds to legislation to protect our youngest Americans from politically motivated indoctrination by teachers, school administrators, and other individuals they trust. Democrats were incensed when Republicans proposed H.R. 5, the “Parents Bill of Rights Act” the left refers to as the “Politics Over Parents Act.” They claim that children “deserve access to a safe and affirming school environment”797 as an excuse to expose their captive public school audience to a predatory political agenda designed to create gender confusion and by so doing, swell the ranks of a party that relies heavily on victims to advance itself.
During his National Child’s Day commemoration, the president spoke of values most Americans support:
Every child deserves to be safe and loved — anchored by a supportive family, a welcoming community, and a Nation devoted to their education, health, safety, and well-being. On National Child’s Day, we renew our commitment to making America the best place in the world to grow up.798
If only that commitment were true. Our classrooms are increasingly politicized by the activism of radical sexual ideologues who consider drag queen shows, an entertainment we used to reserve for adults, to be suitable fodder for kids barely out of the stroller. Gender is no longer about science or basic biology. It is an agenda-laden political construct.
Biden talks about being “anchored by a supportive family.” Consider this remark from Congresswoman Jill Tokuda (D-HI):
“Instead of encouraging educators and parents to work together in shaping local curriculum based on the age-appropriate needs of students, H.R. 5 would pit families and schools against each other at the expense of our most vulnerable: our keiki. It’s a sad day when a bill such as this passes the U.S. House of Representatives.799
Perhaps she forgot what the Biden administration did to prevent supportive families and schools from working together. Parents who failed to submit and voiced their opposition to school policies were targeted as domestic terrorists. Now their children are targeted as malleable pawns to be preyed upon by the Democrat party and its teachers unions.
Destroying childhoods will not make America the best place to grow up. It will ensure we cannot compete against adversaries who understand the importance of education and raising the next generation to be confident, self-assured, and ready to compete against whatever the world dishes out. Does anyone believe that confusing children as young as five with transgender political activism will accomplish that? Even Biden’s extremist, progressive base must snicker at the notion, but making America stronger and ensuring our future greatness is not what this is about.

Biden’s excuse for his Afghanistan catastrophe relies on a White House lie about America’s global leadership.
Smarter and wiser pundits than me will assess Biden’s new, 12-page excuse for his Afghanistan withdrawal catastrophe in great detail. As the 2024 campaign season approaches it was time to get in front of one of this president’s biggest blunders and the Abbey Gate bomb blast that killed 13 U.S. service members and at least 100 Afghans, in particular.
As with most things Biden, accountability is not a consideration. The tipoff that this White House screed that not only defends, but celebrates what happened in Afghanistan as an accomplishment is not entirely on the level comes on the final two pages, beginning with this:
More broadly, when the President made the decision to leave Afghanistan, some worried that doing so could weaken our alliances or put the United States at a disadvantage on the global stage. The opposite has happened. Our standing around the world is significantly greater, as evidenced by multiple opinion surveys.800
“Opinion surveys” mean nothing compared to the actions of our adversaries. Their opinions about our global strength are obvious. Nevertheless, the White House not only insists we are standing up to Russia and China, but credits his abrupt Afghanistan withdrawal:
On the global stage, America is leading. We have rallied our allies and partners to support Ukraine and hold Russia accountable for its aggression—and to rise to compete with China. It is hard to imagine the United States would have been able to lead the response to these challenges as successfully—especially in the resource-intensive way that it has— if U.S. forces remained in Afghanistan today.801
This is how Biden’s America is leading the world.
China’s spy balloon mission over America argues otherwise. So does the Chinese partnership with Mexico and its cartels who know they can flood America with fentanyl and never face any consequences. Our open border and denial of American sovereignty speaks for itself while our president demands that we protect the sovereignty of Ukraine at all costs. Russia just learned it can shoot down our drones with impunity. Even Kim Jong-un realizes that the time is ripe to act up again with threats and ICBM tests because the too-little, too-late Biden administration and its foreign policy arm are not threats any adversary has a reason to take seriously.
The president claims that no scenario could have changed the trajectory of what was happening in Afghanistan short of a greater, forever U.S. military presence.802 We will never know whether this is true. What we do know is that we left Americans and allies behind along with an estimated $7 billion in genuine “weapons of war.” According to Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO):
We left at least 600 American citizens, Afghan allies who fought alongside U.S. troops, interpreters who risked their lives to help our military, and U.S. embassy employees to fend for themselves in and around Kabul. Not to mention the $7 billion worth of American weapons, vehicles, aircrafts, and ammunition that were all left behind.803
Luetkemeyer points out the great misunderstanding that everyone in America seems to possess except those in the Biden administration who inevitably know better:
Our Afghanistan withdrawal made us look weak on the world stage, and we’ve since seen an emboldened Russia and China take full advantage. We are the most powerful country in the world, but such a messy foreign policy failure made the corrupt Russian and Chinese leaders think they could get away with more without being held accountable like they usually would.804
White House Afghanistan lie is just a matter of perspective.
The congressman reminds us that Biden called this joint foreign policy-defense catastrophe a “historic success” just days after the Abbey Gate bombing killed 13 Americans.805
I suppose this lie is a matter of perspective. The president’s definition of success underlies all the domestic and foreign policy failures that are quickly destroying America and relegating our great country to the status of a has-been, second-rate power. Perhaps when the day comes that the yuan is the most-traded global currency the bad news will finally be too overwhelming for this White House to deny.

You are absolutely right, Sherri. Biden’s domestic policy disasters were bad enough, but now we have to worry about nuclear war for the first time in how many decades? We went from strong leadership to no leadership. Biden’s threats are hollow and meaningless and our adversaries know it. God only knows what he’ll come up with in Europe this week. With any luck no one at the meeting will be able to understand what he says because whatever it is, it won’t further America’s interests.

That’s a perplexing question, Stephen. If the left is sincere about climate change a nuclear war isn’t going to solve their problem, but it seems that’s the direction the administration has chosen even if Biden doesn’t realize it.
As you point out, it seems the endgame really is to break our country socially, morally, and economically. As long as Democrats stay entrenched in power – and I don’t believe the midterms are secure or a slam dunk by any means – the damage won’t impact them. They will get richer and more powerful while the American people’s lives are decimated. After a time the people will thank the government for anything it permits, anything it offers, anything it lets us keep for ourselves. If history has a precedent, it’s every country that decided a socialist economy and authoritarian government was a good idea.

Desperate people will accept whatever they are offered. When people can’t afford to leave their homes to work, find empty shelves at the grocery store, and are left sweating in the summer heat because of rolling blackouts, they will accept any relief the government offers because they don’t have a choice. Nothing that is hurting us is by accident.

Democrats don’t seem to worry about debt or the long-range consequences of what they are doing, so this doesn’t seem to be something that concerns them yet. If you took a survey and asked them how the government is funded, I wonder what their answers would be?
I suppose if you are in power and have every federal agency under your control you can do whatever you want, especially when your opposition doesn’t have the spine for the kind of all-out partisan warfare and massive propaganda campaigns that Democrats are so good at. When an institution, policy, or person offends them, they destroy it. Even the Supreme Court is a target and the Constitution was throw on the trash heap long ago.

Ok initially trump pushed for an investigation into Hillary Clinton an right wing media was OK with that but when the tables were turned after trump one the general election he impeded the the investigation into allegations of his possible wrong doing. I’m not sure which allegations you are referring to, Gilbert, but Russian collusion was a Clinton campaign hoax and the Ukraine phone call charges didn’t pan out, either. The Hunter Biden issue is completely different. There is alleged hard evidence on a laptop in the FBI’s possession that was covered up by the media before the 2020 Election. Worse, the president’s statement that he knew nothing about his son’s business dealings have proved false. That’s the difference.

Exactly right. Trump put America and Americans first. Biden and his party are owned by radical activists who put themselves first and could care less about what it does to our country. It’s amazing how quickly they tore down what Trump accomplished and how difficult it will be to repair all the damage done. I can agree to that, Kevin and yes, politics has turned into an us vs. them argument. When Biden accused Republicans of semi-fascism he emphasized the battle lines and now, a year later we have four indictments against Trump to prevent him from running instead of letting voters make the decision at the ballot box.
I would never argue that Trump was a perfect president or the perfect conservatoire candidate, but at this point I don’t see anyone else in the field of GOP candidates who can defeat Biden and Democrats know it. If Biden wins another four years – and I don’t agree with those who say he will not run – and Democrats take back the House, we are finished.
