Public safety destroyed: one day after another mass shooting tragedy Biden issues executive order attacking the police.
Does the president want this done before Americans demand Democrats keep our children safe?
It seems impossible, but one day after a horrible shooting tragedy in Uvalde, Texas Joe Biden signed an executive order to crack down on law enforcement. The White House calls it a “Historic Executive Order to Advance Effective, Accountable Policing and Strengthen Public Safety.” Americans who suffer from skyrocketing crime and violence and are stunned by what happened yesterday will call this move by the White House exactly what it is: a Joe Biden attack on law enforcement because pleasing the extreme left comes before saving lives, including the lives of children.
Hushed, closed door meetings after yesterday’s mass shooting must have concluded that the window is closing to push action to crack down on policing, because that’s precisely what the president’s new order demands. The good news is that Biden’s reach only extends to federal law enforcement.
The bad news is that we can expect Democrats at all levels of government to use this as a blueprint for action as they cower to calls from activists to hamstring the police.
As usual, Biden started by condemning America for not doing enough:
Two years ago, the murder of George Floyd exposed for many what Black and Brown communities have long known and experienced — that we must do more to ensure that our Nation lives up to its founding promise of fair and impartial justice for all.360
To assuage America’s guilt:
Today, President Biden will sign a historic executive order (EO) to advance effective, accountable policing and criminal justice practices that will build public trust and strengthen public safety.361
This is just a portion of how his order purports to accomplish that:
Creates a new national database of police misconduct.
Improves the investigation and prosecution of criminal civil rights violations …
Ensures timely and thorough investigations and consistent discipline.
Mandates body-worn camera policies.
Bans the use of chokeholds and carotid restraints unless deadly force is authorized, and restricts the use of no-knock entries.
Requires new standards that limit the use of force and require de-escalation for all federal agencies.
Restores and expands upon the Obama-Biden Administration’s restrictions on the transfer of military equipment.
Screening to ensure federal agencies don’t hire individuals who promote white supremacy.
Reimagines Crisis Response.
Implements a new, evidence-informed annual anti-bias training requirement.
Tracks data on use of force incidents.
Studies the impact of use of force incidents.
Directs a government-wide strategic plan to propose interventions to reform our criminal justice system.
Improves conditions of confinement. 362
As I mentioned, the order applies only to Federal law enforcement agencies, but items like Biden’s national police misconduct database show the real intent and where this is headed.
One day after a federal officer saved children’s lives, Biden goes on the attack.
Yesterday a federal officer put an end to the murders of children in Uvalde, Texas. As the radical left cracks down on law enforcement through elected officials so Americans nationwide can experience the same kind of mass violence suffered in cities controlled by Democrats, we should ask ourselves who will be willing to take a job that risks their life and where a split-second decision can result in trial by media and a lengthy prison sentence?
Biden’s executive action is a historic move to place all Americans, including children, in harm’s way. Granted, its reach is limited but with midterms coming shortly we can expect Democrats to push these priorities across our violent, troubled nation.

Memorial Day 2022: Biden betrays generations of American heroes who gave their lives for the nation he is tearing apart.
Joe Biden never served in the military. Neither did Donald Trump, but there is one glaring difference. Trump honored America’s fallen heroes by doing everything in his power to make America great. His foreign and domestic policies breathed new life into our economic and military might after eight years of Barack Obama. Biden? His goal is to destroy everything previous generations fought and died for. First and foremost on his list is the idea that America deserves to be great.
The Greatest Generation followed World War I heroes who secured global peace and security and America’s place in the world at tremendous cost and loss of life. Those who died on America’s battlefields from Europe to Afghanistan gave future generations an incredible gift that the president hypocritically acknowledged in his Memorial Day 2022 Prayer for Peace:
These women and men put their lives on the line for an idea — the idea of America. They are the best of us. On this day, as we honor the fallen angels who consecrated this great Nation and the ideals that we stand for with their blood, we rededicate ourselves to the unending work of bringing our country ever closer to that more perfect Union for which they died.363
In 2020 Biden achieved the power necessary to tear the idea of America and that more perfect Union to shreds. The president is fond of reminding us how we never realized that union or lived up to our values, though this still doesn’t explain why he wants to deepen our divisions or why he lied during his campaign that he’d bring America together. The reason he says America doesn’t measure up is simple: we haven’t yet agreed to fully endorse the narrative that America is a racist, white supremacist, veritable neo-Nazi hellhole undeserving of greatness. In fact, America is so despicable in the eyes of this president that he uses the acronym “MAGA” – Make America Great Again – to spread hate and fear to his political base.
In seventeen disastrous months Biden turned our powerhouse economy into rubble. Pandering to the socialist climate idiocy of half-bright Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) takes precedence over making life better for the American people. The result? We have to import food for our hungry babies. Inflation and all of its punishments are at historic highs. California-style rolling blackouts threaten large portions of our nation this summer. We can’t afford to fill our gas tanks not because we are short on fuel, but because America’s president prefers to hurt Americans by turning our abundant energy resources into a hateful liability.
Under Joe Biden our nation doesn’t even deserve a territorial boundary. We exist to be pillaged by foreign nationals and criminal cartels that profit from human trafficking and inundate our nation with deadly drugs like fentanyl that kill scores of Americans each and every day.
After the Greatest Generation built the foundation for American greatness we find ourselves at the mercy of a president who denies us every aspect of our country’s incredible potential. America is being systematically destroyed by soulless, amoral politicians and a president who lies repeatedly and does not care in the slightest that we know he is lying because the American people are of no consequence:
Imagine what you’d be thinking today if you had heard this morning, before you got here, that a group of a thousand people broke down the doors of the Parliament in Great Britain, killed two police officers, smashed and ransacked the office of members of the British Parliament, or any other. What would you think?364
That was from Biden’s commencement address to the University of Delaware on Saturday. It’s hardly the first time that he’s spread the lie that January 6 rioters killed police officers. The president doesn’t care because truth in Biden’s America can never stand up to his party’s false radical narrative. Nevertheless, the president insists:
Truth is truth. Lies are lies. And the truth is: We have a solemn duty to keep the flame of liberty burning. This is not about blue and red, rural and urban. It’s about America. The right to govern ourselves. The right to determine our own destinies, to overcome division and despair, and to meet the challenges of our time with grit and, maybe equally important, with some grace. To press ahead determined, resolved, and full of hope.365
Coming from any other president this would be a heartfelt acknowledgement of the greatness countless Americans died to defend. Coming from graceless, heartless, anti-American Joe Biden it’s just more lies in service to destroying our country. To date, his ideas on defending this “flame of liberty” have included silencing parents with threats and trying to shut down ideas Democrats fear with a Soviet-style Disinformation Board run by a radical, left-wing ideologue.
Biden’s Memorial Day Prayer for Peace honors the sacrifices of legions of American heroes:
As we honor the memories of our fallen heroes, we are grateful for the future they made possible for us and rededicate ourselves to seeking enduring peace. Our heroes gave their lives for our country, and they live forever in our hearts — forever proud, forever honorable, and forever American.366
The men and women who decided their lives were a fair trade for safeguarding our nation’s future and the future of all those who receive the incredible gift of being Americans have nothing in common with this president or those who support him. Joe Biden is destroying what these brave Americans died for. He is doing it willfully and systematically and he absolutely does not care about the consequences or pain he inflicts on good, hard-working people. We see it everywhere we look. Biden is well on his way to extinguishing American greatness once and for all.
The president paid this false tribute to America’s fallen:
Our Nation owes you and those you have lost a tremendous debt that we can never fully repay.367
Destroying everything that is great about America is not how this debt gets repaid. The Biden presidency is a travesty and a historic rejection of the men and women who died honoring American greatness. On Memorial Day we will honor these brave, fallen heroes. Joe Biden has no right.

How tone deaf can this White House possibly be? We just found out. The Biden administration reached new heights of thoughtlessness this morning with the release of a fact sheet on global water security. Warning that two billion people don’t have safe water to drink, Kamala Harris announced a new plan for action:
In response, the Action Plan elevates water security as an essential element of the United States’ international efforts to achieve national security objectives that include increasing equity and economic growth; decreasing the risk of vulnerability to shocks, conflict and instability; building inclusive and resilient societies; bolstering health and food security; advancing gender equity and equality; and tackling climate change.368
That’s an impressive list of goals that do nothing to relieve the pain Biden and Harris have dished out to the American people. It takes a phenomenal amount of thoughtless nerve to pull this out of the White House trick bag after a Memorial Day weekend that gave Americans a tiny taste of how bad gas prices are going to get this summer for the sake of pleasing socialist climate activists.

That’s a perplexing question, Stephen. If the left is sincere about climate change a nuclear war isn’t going to solve their problem, but it seems that’s the direction the administration has chosen even if Biden doesn’t realize it.
As you point out, it seems the endgame really is to break our country socially, morally, and economically. As long as Democrats stay entrenched in power – and I don’t believe the midterms are secure or a slam dunk by any means – the damage won’t impact them. They will get richer and more powerful while the American people’s lives are decimated. After a time the people will thank the government for anything it permits, anything it offers, anything it lets us keep for ourselves. If history has a precedent, it’s every country that decided a socialist economy and authoritarian government was a good idea.

When people can’t afford to leave their homes to work, find empty shelves at the grocery store, and are left sweating in the summer heat because of rolling blackouts, they will accept any relief the government offers because they don’t have a choice. If you took a survey and asked them how the government is funded, I wonder what their answers would be?

I’m not sure which allegations you are referring to, Gilbert, but Russian collusion was a Clinton campaign hoax and the Ukraine phone call charges didn’t pan out, either. The Hunter Biden issue is completely different. There is alleged hard evidence on a laptop in the FBI’s possession that was covered up by the media before the 2020 Election. Worse, the president’s statement that he knew nothing about his son’s business dealings have proved false. That’s the difference.

This article is more, or less, an Ode to Trump… rather than ways Biden is “destroying America.” Which is dramatic in itself.
But Trump never does anything wrong in the eyes MAGA crowd. He’s the victim of loving his country too much, right? Be real.
And it’s fun when people parade Trump around as a proud conservative. Remember, this is the same guy who said “take the guns first, ask questions later.”
And much of his economic success was a continuation of Obama era policies… no? Or are you going to tell me the economy was dead, until Trump came along and rescued it?
In another comment, you said the Ukraine “call” didn’t pan out? That’s not true. And if anything shows how Republicans are just as guilty at playing identity politics as the left. They all cowered behind Trump, rather than stand up to him. It happened again with the insurrection.
It’s disgusting that politics have devolved to “my side vs. your side.” And both parties are too blame for that.
But yeah… Democrats have destroyed America. Okay.?
I can agree to that, Kevin and yes, politics has turned into an us vs. them argument. When Biden accused Republicans of semi-fascism he emphasized the battle lines and now, a year later we have four indictments against Trump to prevent him from running instead of letting voters make the decision at the ballot box.
I would never argue that Trump was a perfect president or the perfect conservatoire candidate, but at this point I don’t see anyone else in the field of GOP candidates who can defeat Biden and Democrats know it. If Biden wins another four years – and I don’t agree with those who say he will not run – and Democrats take back the House, we are finished.

We’re still waiting for the rest of those JFK classified files, but if anyone thinks the government was responsible and we’ll someday know the truth about the conspiracy 60 years after the alleged coverup, that’s probably not going to happen. Your remarks certainly have merit, but I’d still rather stake the nation’s future on Trump or another Republican than Joe Biden and the radical left.
Trump spit on the Constitution the moment he installed fake electors and threatened election officials in Georgia with jail time if they didn’t find him enough votes to win.
Don’t pretend he’s the answer.
He’s part of the problem. But, and the left does this too, the right is so wound up in identity politics… they can’t see what’s right in front of them.
You don’t get to claim you’re a patriot, and then vote for a guy who would tear everything that people have died defending just to remain in power. It doesn’t work like that.
