Great Thing About America #61: America’s president has credibility. Joe Biden has none.
If you are a public figure who says something stupid it’s best to not repeat it. This is especially important if your credibility is sagging and the majority of people dislike you.
This is where Joe Biden finds himself right now. With few exceptions everything he says is stupid, contradictory, hypocritical, or an outright lie. Biden’s absolute lack of even a shard of credibility jeopardizes America’s security and future because our president’s credibility, more than anything, is what keeps those who want to hurt us at bay. More than anything else, American greatness hinges on credibility. Without it, we are prey.
What’s the connection between human trafficking, nuclear war, and January 6? Biden’s lack of credibility.
Not only does the Biden administration promote human trafficking by refusing to acknowledge that we even have borders we enforce, the White House is engaging in human trafficking by shipping illegal migrants around the country.
That didn’t stop the president from making this claim when he promoted National Human Trafficking Prevention Month 2022:
My Administration is committed to stopping human trafficking wherever it occurs.198
Everywhere except under his watch and within our borders.
No one who pays the slightest attention to this president could possibly believe this. Smugglers keep bringing illegals to America, the borders remain open, and the outlook for Biden’s 2022 Mexico to U.S. human trafficking market remains strong.
Biden’s bumbling could trip off the worst kind of climate change.
So what’s the link between human trafficking and nuclear war? Joe Biden’s complete and utter lack of credibility in foreign affairs. Russia is massing on the Ukraine border and China menaces Taiwan because both superpowers know that Biden’s threats of a U.S. response are no more credible than anything else he talks about. Nevertheless, the White House joined five nuclear powers to make a joint statement on preventing nuclear war:
The People’s Republic of China, the French Republic, the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the United States of America consider the avoidance of war between Nuclear-Weapon States and the reduction of strategic risks as our foremost responsibilities.199
No one can possibly believe this, either. The five powers “affirm that a nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought.”200 The incompetence in foreign affairs Biden proved beyond a shadow of a doubt in Afghanistan should give his base pause to wonder if the climate change liberals fear might come from something much, much worse than cars and cows.
Strength and credibility prevent war. Weakness and lack of credibility beg for it.
January 6th’s incredibly big lies come from Biden, not Trump.
Amidst the expected deluge of Democrat Party lies about January 6, the president made two statements that stand out. First,
Are we going to be a nation that accepts political violence as a norm?201
The answer to that is yes, we are. Democrats proved it in 2020 and they will prove it again next time there is a police-involved shooting they can promote as a racist incident to get the riots and looting started again.
The president also said this:
This is not a land of kings or dictators or autocrats. We’re a nation of laws; of order, not chaos; of peace, not violence.202
Biden is an autocrat and thanks to him we are no longer a nation of laws, or order, or peace. Violence in cities suffering from his party’s lawless agenda is not only the new normal, it is tolerated, accepted, and the perpetrators are forgiven just like 2020’s political violence was excused in favor of pursuing a Republican president.
Biden’s complete lack of credibility is a menace to every American. He can’t be trusted to do the right thing or even utter a believable sentence, for that matter. You can’t trust Biden but you can trust this: his presidency will destroy our country and everything great about it.

How many divisive, hateful speeches from this terrible president will it take to destroy Americans’ faith in our great country?
If you heard President Biden’s speech in Atlanta yesterday in support of the Democrat voting fraud bill you heard more lies, divisiveness, and sheer, unbridled hate than any president in memory has dished out in one speech. It makes me sick to think that we elected a man to lead our great country who has such a disparaging view of America and Americans whose only crime is they don’t vote for Democrats.
Biden has a big problem. He has nothing to sell. His first year was an unmitigated disaster. High prices, shortages, urban crime, and Biden’s pandemic death toll don’t discriminate between Democrat and Republican. Everyone is punished. That’s why he tried to connect January 6 and voting rights. Crazy as it sounds, it’s all he’s got:
Today, we come to Atlanta — the cradle of civil rights — to make clear what must come after that dreadful day when a dagger was literally held at the throat of American democracy.203
Who writes this angry, divisive garbage? It’s the Biden administration that stuck a dagger in the back of civil rights by eschewing equality in favor of racist equity. So extreme is the president’s stance that the FDA followed New York’s lead in recommending we use race to decide which lives to save with scarce COVID treatments.
This is where Biden brought us. By government decree the right to life for white people is subordinate to the right to life for black and brown people.
This is not our great country. This is Biden’s hate-ridden vision of America brought to life.
He could have been talking about himself when he accused Trump of totalitarianism:
The goal of the former president and his allies is to disenfranchise anyone who votes against them. Simple as that. The facts won’t matter; your vote won’t matter. They’ll just decide what they want and then do it.
That’s the kind of power you see in totalitarian states, not in democracies.204
The truth is that doing whatever radical Democrats want is the totalitarian power Biden seeks by canceling the filibuster and taking away the right of states to administer their elections so Democrats can control the ballot box. He asks:
Do you want to be the si- — on the side of Dr. King or George Wallace? 205
We could just as easily ask if Americans want to be on the side of Dr. King or Joe Biden? King believed in equality. Biden believes in racist equity even if that means killing Americans by withholding lifesaving drugs because their skin color is hateful to his party’s agenda.
At least there was some honesty in the conclusion to Biden’s tirade:
May God bless you all. And may God protect the sacred right to vote.206
He didn’t say God bless the United States of America or even God bless all Americans. There was no point, really. The president let us know beyond a shadow of a doubt how he feels and how much he hates Americans who won’t submit to his totalitarian takeover of our great nation and everything good Americans stand for.

Great thing about America #62: in times of crisis Americans know we can depend on each other because we are a nation of one.
Joe Biden’s policy agenda is purposely designed to destroy our national unity.
Every day there is more proof that pandemic-era America is collapsing under the failed leadership of this angry, dictatorial president. We see the problem on the rare occasions Biden is permitted to communicate with the press and a simple question elicits an angry outburst. We hear it in his speeches condemning decent, hard-working Americans because of their beliefs. Worst of all, his failure is evident in the pushback against the COVID-19 vaccines he tried to mandate until the Supreme Court said no.
How many Americans will die who might have received the vaccine and refused because of Joe Biden’s politics?
Time and again national unity has proved the antidote for the challenges we face. Without unity there is no America. Is that Biden’s goal? Faced with a failed narrative and policy initiatives that will never pass Congress, his solution is to further anger and divide us.
Above all things, the president demands slavish loyalty to a radical agenda that is doomed to fail. It’s obvious from his horrendous polling that Americans have little interest in what he wants, but instead of resetting his strategy Biden tightens the screws and ramps up the anger. That’s what we heard in his shockingly hateful, divisive speech last Tuesday in support of another certain failure, the Democrat election fraud bill.
America needs to hear a legitimate appeal to work together to battle the pandemic, fight the appalling surge in crime that followed the 2020 riots, and mend the economy. Instead, high-ranking lap dogs like Nancy Pelosi follow Biden’s failed lead and try to divide us further:
Meanwhile, reckless Republican leaders in Congress and throughout the country continue to attack life-saving vaccines, fanning the flames of dangerous disinformation and trying to gut many of the precautions proven to save lives.207
Was the speaker referring to precautions like proven COVID treatments to be doled out on the basis of race and tests Americans can’t get? She didn’t say.
The Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday is Monday. Biden had an opportunity to use the occasion to start mending the racial divide that is a mainstay of his policy agenda. Instead, he promoted divisive legislation he already admits will likely die in the Senate:
And here’s one thing every senator and every American should remember: History has never been kind to those who have sided with voter suppression over voters’ rights. And it will be even less kind for those who side with election subversion.208
In a nation that values unity and freedom above all things, only a fool would adopt the approach favored by Biden and his hubris-driven leadership team. Angry partisanship is inherently divisive and a guaranteed way to generate pushback, but we got even more divisiveness after the SCOTUS decision was announced and the president suggested businesses would not protect their workers unless they are forced by the federal government.
Biden is not worthy of our great nation.
Biden’s turn in the Oval Office is not leadership. His administration depends on a dangerous mix of autocracy and authoritarianism that is veering dangerously close to totalitarianism thanks to declaring conservatives and even parents enemies of the state. Democrats back up these lies and propaganda with the overreaching, partisan January 6th Committee and the investigations that will no doubt follow as the November 2022 midterms edge close.
It doesn’t have to be this way. America and the American people are so much better than how we are portrayed by this angry, power-mad despot who is determined to divide us. Is his anger meant to distract from the fact that Biden doesn’t care what Americans think or want? He’s a dupe for his party’s radical fringe and is perfectly willing to disregard the most important thing about the democracy he says he supports, that in times of crisis we are a nation of one.

Great thing about America #63: America’s president is humble, dignified, and doesn’t laugh at the expense of the American people when he hurts them.
Whitehouse.gov got a makeover today. It’s not a good one. The home page shows Kamala Harris and Joe Biden side by side, laughing, as if they just shared a hilarious joke we’re not in on. We’re used to this from Harris. It’s her usual expression, but Biden has no right to be laughing at anything right now.
Next to the picture is the same lie that we heard yesterday during the president’s disastrous press conference:

President Biden and Vice President Harris promised to move quickly to deliver results for working families. That’s what they’ve done.209
That must be the joke they’re laughing about. It’s not very funny. Being the butt of a cruel joke rarely is. I wonder if the working families suffering from the results Biden and Harris say they delivered will be laughing when they get their next heating bill or have to cut back on groceries? I doubt it, but if that mattered to our nation’s incompetent leadership team they wouldn’t be laughing at us, would they?

Biden turns the promise of America’s great Constitution into a lie.
Joe Biden repeatedly waved our founding document in America’s face when he proclaimed Constitution Day and Citizenship Day and Constitution Week despite devoting his administration to undermining what our Constitution stands for:
The Framers of the Constitution understood the extraordinary promise of a democratic system of government — a Nation that could be made a “more perfect Union” by each passing generation to come.210
His subtle disrespect for what the Constitution represents is evident:
I have often said that America is the only Nation founded on an idea. Though we have never fully lived up to it, we have never walked away from it.211
The American people have not walked away from our Constitution. Biden did. Consider how his leadership honors the preamble:
We the People of the United States:
There is no “we the people” or united anything while Biden is president. It’s we the white supremacists, we the domestic terrorists, we the parents, we the black Americans, we the Asian Americans, we the immigrants, we the transgendered, we the Latinos, and all the other groups deemed threatening or valuable by the political needs of the moment.
Form a more perfect union:
There is no union. Biden depends on the absence of unity because he knows that division makes the people week and easy to control.
Establish Justice:
Justice where and how, exactly? Illegals get a free pass. January 6 is an excuse for a demagogic partisan witch hunt that casts a much broader net than the events of that day. Our leaders spread lies to impact justice in highly politicized trials like the Rittenhouse case. Violence in our cities runs rampant. Criminals are released to hurt people because Democrats’ obsession with equity demands they go free.
Promote the general welfare:
Here comes equity again. Something as simple as passing out lifesaving drugs equally and subject to availability is superseded by federal and state policies that save lives based on skin color.
Secure the blessings of liberty:
Who is this guy kidding? Biden is rapidly turning America into a totalitarian state run by an all-powerful Democrat Party. Had his party managed to pass their election takeover legislation the deed would already be done.
For now you can kiss liberty goodbye, especially if you are unvaccinated or worse, a white conservative Republican. This is no longer your country. The Constitution that made it so is now meaningless thanks to the Biden lie of unifying leadership.

Great thing about America #64: America doesn’t promote racial bias, but Biden does.
Biden’s progressive racism will taint the Supreme Court for years to come.
Listening to the president’s’ speech this morning about replacing Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer was like hearing someone say “Some of my best friends are Black” or “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t Black.”
Biden’s progressive obsession with identity politics and skin color gifted us with an incompetent, do-nothing vice president who attacked him for his past positions on race and yet still fit the ticket for three reasons: she is female, she is Black, and she is Indian, which also qualifies her as Asian. That’s three in one, a pretty good identity politics pick for Biden but a very bad one for the American people, especially when we consider the president’s obviously failing mental faculties and the awful prospect that Harris could become our president.
This time Biden is only looking for a two-in-one: a Supreme Court nominee who is Black and a woman not because Black women’s legal minds are innately superior to Asian, Latino, Native American, or God forbid, white women. In a nation that replaced equality with progressive, raced-based equity the calculation was much simpler than that.
Supreme Court justices can serve for a very long time. The legacy of a justice on the bench who will be notable for the reason she was chosen regardless of her qualifications will not only taint her legacy, it will taint the legitimacy of the court in the eyes of the American people. This justice will always be Biden’s identity politics pick, an ode to progressive racism that neither the nominee nor the country deserve.
Biden probably things this is a giant step forward for America and Black Americans. He’s wrong. It’s two steps back.

You are absolutely right, Sherri. Biden’s domestic policy disasters were bad enough, but now we have to worry about nuclear war for the first time in how many decades? We went from strong leadership to no leadership. Biden’s threats are hollow and meaningless and our adversaries know it. God only knows what he’ll come up with in Europe this week. With any luck no one at the meeting will be able to understand what he says because whatever it is, it won’t further America’s interests.

He was also passing a phony $20.00 to an 18 year old who’s boss was going to take it out of his pay. When the kid asked Floyd to take care of it, Floyd blew him off. The store owner came out, Floyd blew him off so he called the cops. Floyd was under the influence and nodding off in the car too. Chauvin et al. blew it and Floyd’s passengers should have been more honest about him just eating Fentanyl pills.
What is the endgame? This was all done on purpose. Nuclear annihilation? Does the Left want to decimate the planet and start from scratch? Are humans bad for the planet? That’s a perplexing question, Stephen. If the left is sincere about climate change a nuclear war isn’t going to solve their problem, but it seems that’s the direction the administration has chosen even if Biden doesn’t realize it.
As you point out, it seems the endgame really is to break our country socially, morally, and economically. As long as Democrats stay entrenched in power – and I don’t believe the midterms are secure or a slam dunk by any means – the damage won’t impact them. They will get richer and more powerful while the American people’s lives are decimated. After a time the people will thank the government for anything it permits, anything it offers, anything it lets us keep for ourselves. If history has a precedent, it’s every country that decided a socialist economy and authoritarian government was a good idea.

Desperate people will accept whatever they are offered. When people can’t afford to leave their homes to work, find empty shelves at the grocery store, and are left sweating in the summer heat because of rolling blackouts, they will accept any relief the government offers because they don’t have a choice. Nothing that is hurting us is by accident.
I agree their progressive, socialist/communist ideology is driven by their destructive tactics to deconstruct everything this country is founded on and that they are succeeding with executive orders and policies that are destroying the US (open borders, anti-law and order, killing the economy, allowing China to buy all the farm land, etc.). But in the long run, with their goal for the majority of Americans and the millions of illegal immigrants being driven in to poverty and dependent on the government as the president along with those in power create a caste system and one party state, what is their plan for funding their socialist/communist regime? How is it they can get away with so easily violating the Constitution and laws of the land?
That’s a great question, PJ. They have to be smart enough to not completely destroy the economy so there is still enough of a tax base to fund their socialist handouts. Democrats don’t seem to worry about debt or the long-range consequences of what they are doing, so this doesn’t seem to be something that concerns them yet. If you took a survey and asked them how the government is funded, I wonder what their answers would be?
I suppose if you are in power and have every federal agency under your control you can do whatever you want, especially when your opposition doesn’t have the spine for the kind of all-out partisan warfare and massive propaganda campaigns that Democrats are so good at. When an institution, policy, or person offends them, they destroy it. Even the Supreme Court is a target and the Constitution was throw on the trash heap long ago.

Ok initially trump pushed for an investigation into Hillary Clinton an right wing media was OK with that but when the tables were turned after trump one the general election he impeded the the investigation into allegations of his possible wrong doing. I’m not sure which allegations you are referring to, Gilbert, but Russian collusion was a Clinton campaign hoax and the Ukraine phone call charges didn’t pan out, either. The Hunter Biden issue is completely different. There is alleged hard evidence on a laptop in the FBI’s possession that was covered up by the media before the 2020 Election. Worse, the president’s statement that he knew nothing about his son’s business dealings have proved false. That’s the difference.

Exactly right. Trump put America and Americans first. Biden and his party are owned by radical activists who put themselves first and could care less about what it does to our country. I can agree to that, Kevin and yes, politics has turned into an us vs. them argument. When Biden accused Republicans of semi-fascism he emphasized the battle lines and now, a year later we have four indictments against Trump to prevent him from running instead of letting voters make the decision at the ballot box.
I would never argue that Trump was a perfect president or the perfect conservatoire candidate, but at this point I don’t see anyone else in the field of GOP candidates who can defeat Biden and Democrats know it. If Biden wins another four years – and I don’t agree with those who say he will not run – and Democrats take back the House, we are finished.
