Extreme Radical Democrat Jeffries admits truth about Inflation Reduction Act and it proves Biden a liar.
Taxpayers suffering from historic Bidenflation had every right to expect that a bill of goods sold as an “Inflation Reduction Act” was about reducing inflation, especially when it came from the party and president responsible for their pain. When President Biden spoke on behalf of his party and promised a solution, America expected him to follow through on his word:
Good afternoon. Yesterday, I spoke with both Senator Schumer and Manchin and offered my support for a historic agreement to fight inflation and lower costs for American families. It’s called the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. Some of you will see a lot of similarities between the beginning — (laughs) — of the Build Back Better initiative. It’s not all of it, but we’ve moved a long way.413
Not only were we promised a landmark bill to bring down inflation, progress and prosperity were on the way:
Look, the bill I’m about to sign is not just about today, it’s about tomorrow. It’s about delivering progress and prosperity to American families.
It’s about showing the American and the American people that democracy still works in America — notwithstanding all the — all the talk of its demise — not just for the privileged few, but for all of us.414
Thanks to the president, Americans finally prevailed over special interests who are determined to do us in and profit at our expense:
Today, Senate Democrats sided with American families over special interests, voting to lower the cost of prescription drugs, health insurance, and everyday energy costs and reduce the deficit, while making the wealthiest corporations finally pay their fair share. I ran for President promising to make government work for working families again, and that is what this bill does — period.415
Now the promises are in the past. Prices are up. Inflation remains high. The cost for a gallon of gas is rising. Americans with the least ability to survive the Biden economy continue to suffer.
That’s not to say there are no winners. Congressional Democrats, Joe Biden, and their activist, special interest donors chalked up a big win with their bill. Extreme Radical Democrat Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) chose Earth Day to celebrate:
Last year, House Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act to strike a dramatic blow against the climate crisis, set our planet on a sustainable trajectory forward and stand up a clean energy economy. This was the largest federal climate investment in our nation’s history but our work is far from over. We will continue to address the climate crisis with the fierce urgency of now and fight back against extreme MAGA Republican attempts to put polluters over people.416
If only Extreme Radical Democrats had done the right thing and put people over politics. If only Joe Biden hadn’t bent the knee to climate lunatics and ended our energy independence while lying that democracy works for all but the privileged few. If only Democrats would admit that the role of the American people is to shut up and bankroll their special interests. If only …
That’s not to say we didn’t know that the Inflation Reduction Act was a climate bill masquerading as a Band-Aid for the wounds dished out by Bideninflation and Democrats’ radical climate economy. Republicans including Congressman Michael Guest (R-MS) warned us:
I rise in strong opposition to this destructive piece of legislation. Every day, I hear from Mississippians who struggle to buy gas and groceries because of the inflation crisis fueled by the Left’s reckless spending.
Now, instead of acknowledging the impact their out-of-control spending policies have had on Americans, my colleagues across the aisle are trying to pass legislation that will increase taxes on Americans, spend hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars on far-left priorities that will fuel inflation, and pass legislation that will add an army of IRS agents.417
We knew during the early days of the propaganda campaign to push this legislation over the finish line that we were being sold a false bill of goods by politicians who had the power to ignore the needs of American families so they could chalk up a victory for themselves. Extreme Radical Democrat Jeffries just admitted the truth. That makes promises like this from our president all the more offensive to Americans who are sick and tired of lies from Biden and the Democrats who view truth as an impediment to power:
Progressive leaders like Senator Elizabeth Warren said, quote, this bill — “This is a bill that truly is about fighting inflation, bringing down the cost for families, and putting our country on a sounder economic footing.”418

Radical Democrats go where no liars have gone before.
What on earth happened to Extreme Radical Democrat Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY)? Even Nancy Pelosi knew when to temper her remarks with a shred of reality for credibility’s sake. Instead, Jeffries injects so much hyperbole into his remarks that they disintegrate into a mess of ridicule-inviting lunacy:
This week in Washington, D.C., we’ve seen House Republicans, once again, stake out an extreme position. Which is to risk a catastrophic and dangerous default that would potentially trigger a job-killing recession and cost the American people millions of good-paying jobs, crash the stock market in a way that will hurt and undermine the retirement security of millions of older Americans and also send costs skyrocketing through the roof in a way that will hurt the economic well-being of everyday Americans.419
Did I mention that none of this is true?
Jeffries’ blame-shifting doesn’t alter the fact that the Biden administration and congressional Democrats have already severely compromised the economic well-being of everyday Americans with inflationary price hikes. The only job-killing recession is the one created by their radical economic policies. Judging by last quarter’s 1.1% GDP growth, it may already be with us.
Enough of the debt ceiling charade. It’s not going to happen and we all know it.
These facts aside, let’s cut through the crap with one simple fact we all know and understand: there is not going to be a default. We’ve been through these debt ceiling charades so many times we know exactly how this one will play out. Spendthrift Democrats will beat their chests and point fingers. They will threaten economic doom looming just around the corner. At the 11th hour we’ll hear about a historic victory for the American people. Each side will take credit for saving America from the other.
Judging by the outrageous lies being spread by Democrat Party talking heads it appears Jeffries is not the only extreme radical leftist who is becoming unglued and the debt ceiling isn’t the only issue they are lying about.
Karine Jean-Pierre is a very bad, very transparent liar, but the press secretary nevertheless persists in pushing the envelope too far.
During a press conference last week flanked by the cast of a TV series to help celebrate Lesbian Visibility Week, she accused Republicans of causing “increased crime” and “lower economic growth.”420 These remarks are absurd on their face, but like Jeffries her lies were just a segue to lunatic rambling:
In the run-up to the 2022 election, House Republicans promised to put cops on the beat. Instead, they’re fighting to put fentanyl on the street by defend- — defunding Border Patrol.421
Most of us have learned not to take anything from Jean-Pierre seriously. Nonstop lies can’t hide the fact that the economy is tanking and another big bank just failed, the border invasion keeps getting worse, our global leadership is sinking, and a majority of Americans don’t want another four years of Joe Biden.
Neither do we want another four years of listening to Kamala Harris’ nonsensical yammering about things she doesn’t understand. Lying is one thing. We expect that from politicians and generally accept that they are inveterate liars, but there is artistry in doing it right. For openers, your lies must be believable. The vice president’s are not:
We love our country. That’s why we fight for it. Because we believe in these foundational principles. Because we believe in the importance of the integrity of our nation and our ability, as the President said, to walk in those rooms around the world and have the authority then to talk about issues like human rights and rule of law.422
Generally, we don’t destroy what we love even though the Biden White House’s enormous success destroying America and the Democrat Party’s drive to mutilate our kids questions whether this is still true.
I won’t bother to point out that the Founders’ “foundational principles” have nothing to do with leftist priorities like abortion, “gender-affirming care” for children, and abolishing protections against voter fraud. There is no need. It won’t stop the lies.
Besides, America no longer has a rule of law. We know beyond any doubt whose fault that is.
No, Kamala. Lies won’t restore our integrity.
At least we can agree with Harris about “the importance of the integrity of our nation …”423 Thanks to faltering Joe Biden, liar Jean-Pierre, giggling Harris, and Extreme Radical Democrats like Jeffries, that integrity is sorely missed. Lying will not bring it back.

House Democrats need a leader whose dishonesty is credible.
Extreme Radical Democrat Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) probably had his fingers crossed that foolhardy Republicans dragging out the final vote on Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as House Speaker would screw up the process so badly that Nancy Pelosi’s gavel would wind up in his hand.
That didn’t happen. We can all be thankful. America already has a president with no credibility. Is Jeffries following Joe’s lead when he makes statements like this to his Democrat colleagues?
I write in connection with the extreme MAGA Republican effort to engineer a default on America’s debt for the first time in our history.424
If you are in the public eye and spend your time making up stories with absolutely no fealty to demonstrable facts or the truth, you should at least try to make them credible. Using Janet “Inflation is Transitory” Yellen to back up your lie that Republicans are intent on committing political suicide with a default will not accomplish that:
Yesterday, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen indicated that the United States Treasury may exhaust extraordinary measures as early as June 1. Congress must urgently pass legislation to raise the borrowing limit and avoid plunging our nation into a recession, driving up unemployment and crashing the stock market.425
Jeffries made a very similar threat last week. Someone needs to clue him in that we don’t need a default to accomplish these things. Given time, the president will get that job done all by himself.
Hilariously, the minority leader makes a hollow appeal to something we know Democrats could care less about:
For the good of the country, extreme MAGA Republicans must do the same.426
I won’t bother to go down the laundry list of what “good of the country” means to Extreme Radical Democrat Jeffries and his colleagues. Where would we start? Illegal immigration? Inflation? Rampant crime? Gender mutilation for kids? America last policies?
Jeffries warns of a Republican-manufactured default crisis. This is more of a Jeffries-manufactured default hoax. The extreme radical Democrat and House Speaker in his own mind believes that raising the debt ceiling in exchange for responsible spending cuts are “extreme conditions.”
In fact, Speaker McCarthy has set the stage for budget negotiations that Jeffries and Biden and Chuck Schumer (D-NY) will have no part in. McCarthy is the adult in the room. His opponents are spoiled children having a tantrum because they no longer have the power to destroy the economy and spend more money to fix it all by themselves.
Too bad Democrats don’t have a more credible figurehead in the House. Americans expect dishonesty, but for what we pay these lying hacks aren’t we entitled to a little finesse along with it?

One very important, very obvious, very dangerous fact about Democrats’ Citizenship for Illegals Act.
Extreme Radical Democrat Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) eschewed self-respect and instead pushed his party’s ridiculous argument that border security and amnesty for illegal immigrants have something in common. He blasted the GOP’s border security bill by falsely accusing Republicans of promoting what Democrats and the Biden administration are doing for real with their illegal immigrant invasion:
Today, we will vote against – as Democrats – the Child Deportation Act. The Republican effort to try to weaponize and politicize the border as opposed to doing something meaningful about it.427
Nothing says weaponize and politicize like holding Americans hostage with an invasion of unvetted foreign nationals until Republicans agree to legislation with a cringeworthy title to turn them into citizens and Democrat voters:
Democrats do have a proposal championed by Congresswoman Linda Sánchez, the U.S. Citizenship Act, that is a real effort to address our immigration system, create a viable path forward, make sure that there is order at the border, while at the same time respecting our history as a nation of immigrants.428
If Jeffries believes that what his party and president have done respects anything about America’s history, then he should step down immediately so someone of sound mind and an understanding of what “nation of immigrants” means can take his place.
What is even more insulting to the intelligence of the American people is the lie hiding behind all the contrived bluster damning Republicans for arguing that our country is worth protecting. When Joe Biden took office, the illegal hordes headed for our border. News spread to the four corners of the globe that America was wide open and unprotected. Only Americans heard that it was secure. That was a lie from a DHS secretary with even less credibility than Biden and Jeffries.
Two years later, it’s obvious to anyone who isn’t a card-carrying, America-hating Democrat that the border is an absolute national security, humanitarian, and political catastrophe orchestrated by extremists determined to back America into a corner until they get their way.
One stupidly simple detail Jeffries doesn’t mention.
So ask yourself: if we do what Jeffries suggests and pass Sanchez’s amnesty bill, what will happen when the news spreads that America is turning illegals into citizens? I can assure you it won’t be a “viable path forward.” Nor will it create “order at the border.” Let’s call it hell on earth instead. No Democrat in power will care because they know they will not be impacted and will never be held accountable for what will happen, just like they sit on their hands now while their own cities beg for salvation from migrants and fentanyl.
The rest of us who love America will care, but it will be too late. If Jeffries doesn’t know it, he’s even dumber than he thinks we are.

I wish you were wrong too, Paul, but your comments are spot on. The willingness of the GOP to bend to the will of the Democrat Party is infuriating, including their support of the last omnibus spending package. Democrats know better.
As far as insider trading is concerned, let’s relegate that to the same list as term limits and an earmark ban. The difference between Republicans and Democrats is a lot less than the difference between politicians from either party and the American people. Both know where their money comes from.
