January 1, 2024:
#261: Just call it treason? 2023’s worst example of government hypocrisy is Biden and the Democrats’ greatest victory against America
The New Democrat Coalition warned that power for Democrats comes first and our republic second:
Protecting our country and truly representing the American people requires us to maintain a Democratic Party that welcomes those who believe in fairness, freedom, and a functioning democracy. Otherwise, we’ll lose our governing majority and our republic. In that way, New Dems are a key line of defense against extremism.777
They vowed to protect America for the next quarter century:
As we look forward to the next 25 years, we’ll continue to protect Americans’ freedoms, preserve our democracy, and strengthen American global leadership for generations to come. Our members know that making progress is what’s truly progressive and being moderate in approach yields results.778
They lied.
The Democrat Party agenda is the exact opposite of these things, attacking freedom and democracy with partisan abandon and now raising the stakes to deny us the right to vote for the presidential candidate of our choice.
Throughout 2023 Democrats passionately defended a president who embarrasses America on the world stage and whose global leadership demonstrates historic weakness that not only makes us easy prey for our adversaries, but shows a stunning incapacity to deal with international crises that the Trump administration would have stopped with intelligent, America first policies and when necessary, a phone call.
When Democrats promise to defend America, this is what happens:
Since President Biden took office, there have been 7.8 million illegal immigrant encounters nationwide, over 6.4 million illegal crossings at our Southern border, and 1.7 million known got-aways who have evaded Border Patrol.779
As their open border, sanctuary policies prove disastrous Democrats and the president blame Republicans for not agreeing to immigration reform, a deceptive oxymoron that inevitably includes a grant of mass amnesty.
The illegals keep coming, with 2023 setting records as the left’s greatest open border illegal immigration victory yet, with over one-quarter million illegal crossings in the final month of the fiscal year, an 86% increase from June 2023.780
The Biden administration, Homeland Security, the State Department, and congressional Democrats address this crisis of their own design by gaslighting and obfuscation about root causes and vulnerable asylum seekers while Human Trafficker in Chief Joe Biden denounces the “abhorrent abuse of human trafficking”781 that his policies make more profitable than ever for Mexico’s criminal cartels.
Americans are not nearly as naive, gullible, or stupid as Democrats hope. We know lies when we hear them. We recognize hypocrisy, deception, and gaslighting and are angrered by the unbelievable discord between political messaging and glaring truth.
Most important, we understand the difference between sound border protection, betrayal, and treason.
Democrats and their complicit media still seem to believe their “nothing to see here” response to overwhelming evidence of the president’s involvement in Hunter Biden’s foreign financial affairs is credible. We heard a similar, albeit comically indignant response from DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas during congressional grilling about the administration’s refusal to protect our southern border.
Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) informed Mayorkas:
‘My constituents want you impeached because they believe you’ve committed treason.’
‘They believe you’re a traitor. They compare you to Benedict Arnold. You know, no parent with the last name Arnold names their kid Benedict.’782
When Buck asked the secretary if he was ashamed for what he has done, Mayorkas ducked the question and played the victim:
‘My response to what you have just said – it is so profoundly offensive on so many different levels, in so many different regards. I won’t ask you for an apology,’ he said.783
Americans deserve the apology. Instead, our collective face was rubbed in Biden and the Democrats pile of activist, pro-illegal immigration excrement throughout 2023.
With the border crisis on track to set even more records in 2024, career Congressman Steny Hoyer (D-MD) drew a red line between the acceptable and unacceptable defense of freedom and democracy:
I agree we need to fix our broken immigration system and address the situation at the border, but this is not the way to do it — not at the expense of the defense of freedom and democracy.784
Hoyer was not talking about freedom and democracy for Americans. He was referring to funding for Ukraine and Israel stalled by Republican demands to “overhaul our border policy.”785
That “border policy” is to let anyone into America who might be able to vote after Democrats regain their congressional majority and legislate mass amnesty. Terrorists, child molesters, drug dealers, murderers, and other threats that trespass into our nation in the meantime are unavoidable risks justified by the party’s quest to stay in power until there is no more country left to rule.
Some would call aiding and abetting the invasion of America by illegal foreign nationals treason.
Some would call lying about a secure border to cover up this foreign invasion that places our safety and security at risk treason.
Instead, as 2023 drew to a close and the Biden administration ended the year by bending America’s knee to Mexico, White House officials referred to the crisis as a commitment to “orderly, humane, and regular migration.”786

Boy, Civil Candor you sure called it the way it is. All screwed up! It is hard to see how supposedly intelligent men and women can destroy a country without even trying. All the President and Congress has to do is disagree with each other, pass some stupid legislation and then tell the taxpayers that it is all for their own good and that of the country. Talk about the rise and fall of a country, the US under this administration, will beat all previous records in getting the job done quickly..
Civil Candor says
Supposedly intelligent …

Good lord…what a load of garbage. Thanks so much for bringing me to this garbage site, Google! ?

Thanks, Nunya. If it incited you enough to take the time to make a comment, I’ll take that as a compliment.
