Guess who Illinois Governor Pritzker blames after his home is vandalized in violent sanctuary city Chicago?
In today’s edition of Blame Trump for Everything, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker embarrassed himself after a vandal broke windows in his Gold Coast home.
Chicago is a violent city suffering mightily under Democrat Party control. This is not a secret. The city is known nationwide for shootings, carjackings, smash and grabs, assaults, robberies, and every other type of criminality imaginable.
Pritzker’s solution to Illinois crime and the mayhem in Chicago was to sign the Illinois SAFE-T Act. He celebrated this radical, be kind to criminals legislation with its no cash bail provisions as a historic, first in the nation achievement while law enforcement officials warned of the consequences.
The city is also under siege because of its sanctuary policies. Pritzker brushed aside any culpability on his own part for extending the welcome mat to President Biden’s illegal immigrant invaders. Like most radical left politicians, he would be a lot happier if border states bore the pain of his errant liberal values instead of forcing him to admit that they have very unfortunate consequences, too.
Don’t blame the criminal. Just say “MAGA.”
According to Fox 32 Chicago, a local man was arrested for the damage to the governor’s home and charged with stalking and criminal damage to property.517 This was a minor incident by Chicago standards that would not have been worth mentioning had it happened to a run-of-the-mill city taxpayer. Since it happened to a governor who is also a Biden bootlicker and Democrat Party bigwig, this was an opportunity to seek the spotlight. Instead of blaming the criminal, Pritzker had a better target in mind.
In a rant posted to the FOX 32 YouTube site that makes absolutely no sense in a city known for crime, Pritzker blamed Republicans and Donald Trump for his broken windows. He made the absurd accusation that MAGA politicians cause people to feel that it’s OK to act upon their hate if they disagree with someone.
For obvious reasons, the governor neglected to mention the strong message Chicago and his administration send to the criminally-minded that their actions will be tolerated. If they are arrested, they can expect to be returned to the streets so as not to be inconvenienced by the justice system. Criminals should expect nothing less from a city that suspends the rule of law and welcomes illegal foreign nationals with open arms.
The lengths radical left ideologues like Pritzker will go to in their effort to circumvent well-deserved blame for their irresponsible acts are truly amazing. Donald Trump left office almost three years ago, but there are few self-inflicted Democrat Party problems that aren’t excused by the MAGA dog whistle.
The news reports don’t say whether the offender was immediately let go under the cashless bail provisions of the SAFE-T Act. The offense would suggest a quick return to freedom. This would seem to be the appropriate remedy, since according to our governor Trump and the GOP are the real criminals responsible.

White House emergency national security funding request should include hiring better liars
The only thing worse than being lied to is when the liar knows you are on to their game and keeps lying anyway because they don’t care. This is Biden White House communication policy in a nutshell. We are lied to repeatedly, we know we are being lied to, and it doesn’t matter because nothing we can do will stop the truth behind the lies.
One of the most pervasive and damaging lies is that our southern border is under control. We’ve heard administration hacks make this claim with straight faces and to be fair, if we didn’t know better we might believe them. Even DHS Liar-in-Chief Mayorkas resists cracking a smile while lying his face off about Biden’s illegal immigrant invasion of America.
Who is Shalanda Young and why is she lying to us?
Compared to the likes of Mayorkas, Karine Jean-Pierre, Merrick Garland, and other seasoned administration fibbers, Office of Management and Budget Director Shalanda Young is not a household name. With a new Republican speaker not yet installed and Biden’s emergency national security funding request at stake, Young emerged and pushed for more money for the border in an October 20, 2023 letter to House Speaker Pro Tem Patrick McHenry.
Following the lead of her White House colleagues, she justified her request with a lie only the most jaded Democrat could believe:
Fourth, we have been clear that Congressional Republicans need to stop playing political games with border security and provide the resources our law enforcement personnel need to keep the Southwest border secure and stop the flow of fentanyl into the United States.518
The real political games are in the numbers:
This request includes resources for an additional 1,300 border patrol agents to work alongside the 20,200 agents already funded in the FY2024 Budget; 375 immigration judge teams to strengthen the immigration court system—the largest incremental request ever; 1,600 asylum officers to speed up processing of asylum claims; funding to hire 1,000 Customs and Border Protection officers with a focus on counter-fentanyl;519
Instead of hiring more officers to address Biden’s fentanyl scourge, we could restart border wall construction and start turning migrants away en masse so CBP agents can go back to doing the job of keeping America safe. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is a Republican and more than willing to help in a truly bipartisan fashion. When he tried to staunch the flow of migrants the Biden administration sued him for his floating barriers and cut the razor wire meant to deter or at least slow down illegal entries. This, more than anything tells the truth about what the White House’s emergency border funding will be used for.
Actions speak louder than liars
Americans know we are being lied to. More border patrol agents are not about turning migrants away or deporting those already here. Like the requested 375 immigration judge teams and 1,600 asylum officers, more border agents mean bringing even more migrants into America as quickly as possible. Democrats know there is a good chance they could lose the White House next year, so time is running out to shift America’s voting population dynamics in their favor.
Young tells one scary truth
The OMB director did impart a little honesty into her funding request letter:
The world is watching and the American people rightly expect their leaders to come together and deliver on these priorities. I urge Congress to address them as part of a comprehensive, bipartisan agreement in the weeks ahead.520
It’s true that the world is watching. It’s absolutely false that any money going to speed up and make Biden’s illegal immigrant invasion more efficient will impress our adversaries with anything except our vulnerability and the rapid downfall of America under this president.
Great Democrat presidents are great liars who respect our intelligence and put some thought into their lies.
The evolving permutations of President Biden’s knowledge of his son Hunter’s business affairs as each public statement is proved less than trustworthy is characteristic of an administration that has absolutely no respect for the intelligence of the American people.
We don’t expect our presidents to be entirely honest or even truthful most of the time, but when they lie to us we like to know they are making an effort. Great Democrat presidents are great liars. How many Americans were shocked to discover they could not keep their doctor after Barack Obama lied about socialized medicine? Why is DACA still with us if it was only a “temporary stopgap measure?”
Biden is not a great president nor is he a good liar. We knew from the start what “Inflation Reduction Act” really meant.
Neither is his hired mouthpiece, which is a shocking misstep considering how infrequently he presents himself to the press. If he isn’t going to lie to us in person, Biden should show us a little respect and find someone whose is better at their job.
When questioned about Republicans using Ukraine aid to force action on the administration’s open border, Karine Jean-Pierre responded with this:
Now, as it relates to borders — border security, you know, this is the President from day one that has taken this issue very seriously. You’ve heard me say over and over again, when — on his first day in administration, he introduced a comprehensive immigration law — a comprehensive immi- — immigration law, and it’s been three years.521
It’s true Biden took border security very seriously. His disdain for stopping or even slowing the flow of illegals was so serious he destroyed everything President Trump did to deliver Americans a secure, sovereign nation.
Jean-Pierre should have stopped while she was ahead, but the questions kept coming and she lapsed into abject fantasy that bordered on delirium:
What I will be really clear about: This is a president that has taken this very seriously and who wants to — when he’s moved forward in his immigration policies, he’s tried to do this in a — in a humane way and make sure that our — our borders are protected, make sure that Americans are protected. And so, that’s the way that he’s — he’s — he’s moved forward in the past almost three years dealing with this issue.522
Coming from a party with a prominent progressive under fire for insinuating that the rape of women in Israel should be “balanced” against atrocities against Palestinians, should we be surprised that dead migrants, sex trafficking, and modern day indentured servitude to cartels are passed off as a “humane way” to manage immigration into the U.S.?
At least Jayapal was honest. It wasn’t until she walked back her comments that we questioned her veracity.
We should not be surprised, but have every reason to be offended that this White House has such low regard for our intelligence that its chief talking head doesn’t even lie well. We don’t expect the truth, but a little effort would be appreciated. Great Democrat presidents know this. Why doesn’t Biden?

Wow! Faye, I think you covered it. I haven’t decided whether they lie because they think we’re too dumb to see through what they say, or because they don’t care what we think. Probably both. As far as Trump is concerned, I wholeheartedly agree. Democrats and sadly, many Republicans are terrified of a leader who won’t play their game of stringing us along, hurting Americans in the process, and doing absolutely nothing to make our country better. Trump got things done and Washington still hates him for showing how worthless and self-interested our elected officials are. The best way for him to end their hate is to be reelected. I wish you were wrong too, Paul, but your comments are spot on. The willingness of the GOP to bend to the will of the Democrat Party is infuriating, including their support of the last omnibus spending package. Democrats know better.
As far as insider trading is concerned, let’s relegate that to the same list as term limits and an earmark ban. The difference between Republicans and Democrats is a lot less than the difference between politicians from either party and the American people. Both know where their money comes from.
