Finally, we have undeniable proof that Democrats are racist, xenophobic liars
If you want to know beyond any doubt just how bad the situation at our southern border is, all you need to do is read an entry in today’s Federal Register:
The Secretary of Homeland Security has determined, pursuant to law, that it is necessary to waive certain laws, regulations, and other legal requirements in order to ensure the expeditious construction of barriers and roads in the vicinity of the international land border in Starr County, Texas.510
That’s how the Biden administration gets started building a border wall.
The geniuses controlling our president have a tough decision to make: which is more important, a second Biden term or sticking to the administration’s open border immigration values and the Trump-hating, anti-border wall hysteria and lies his party spread during the last administration?
It appears a second term won. The optics from the border are not good. We already know that those making Biden’s decisions don’t have any values that rise above the necessities of politics. The tantalizing question is whether Democrats will stand up for their values or bear the shame of admitting they are lying, hypocritical, racist, xenophobic threats to our wonderful nation of immigrants.
Right solution, wrong president511
In case you forgot, this is how Democrats feel about a president who builds a border wall
Did the White House consult with anyone before the decision to follow Trump’s lead, or is this the first step in hanging DHS Secretary Mayorkas out to dry to deflect the blame from the president?
Either way, we can never, ever let Democrats forget what they said about a border wall when Trump was in the White House.
DeLauro: border wall symbolizes hate
Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) believes a border wall is a symbol of hate:
The border wall that President Trump celebrates today is perhaps the most visible example of this callous approach. An egregious diversion of taxpayer money built around a pack of lies and intended mostly as a symbol of hate, the border wall represents everything that is wrong with the Trump administration.512
Castro: border wall is racist
Does Joaquin Castro (D-TX) think that Biden’s new border wall is a racist campaign promise? That’s what he said about Donald Trump’s plan:
Our President is panicked by his inability to fulfill a racist campaign promise to build his wall.513
Smith: xenophobic lies about immigrants
Adam Smith (D-WA) warns that a wall is built on “xenophobic lies:”
House Democrats are not going to stand by while the President abuses his power by declaring a national emergency to build his wall. This national emergency declaration is built on xenophobic lies and mischaracterizations about immigrants, and it is dangerous and wrong for the President to circumvent Congress by stealing funds from military readiness for his political agenda.514
Murphy: wall is racist and it won’t work
Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) believes a border wall is racist and ineffective:
The shortsightedness of this administration is dumbfounding. President Trump just stole money from national security priorities that keep our country safe and National Guard equipment that saves lives in real national emergencies to pay for his ineffective and racist border wall.515
I could keep going, but what’s the point? Democrats will lie, deflect, and deny. They have no ideals or values, only blind subservience to the cause of empowering their party no matter the cost to the American people. They will find a way to blame Trump for the administration’s decision to score a 2024 campaign victory with a border wall. In a press release today, Mayorkas got the ball rolling:
The construction project reported today was appropriated during the prior administration in 2019 and the law requires the government to use these funds for this purpose, which we announced earlier this year. We have repeatedly asked Congress to rescind this money but it has not done so and we are compelled to follow the law.516
SOOO, the Biden administration is building a wall because Trump gives the president no choice. As proficient as this White House is at circumventing laws, regulations, Supreme Court decisions, the separation of power, and anything else standing in its way including Donald Trump’s campaign for president, it’s hard to imagine they could not find a way around a hateful, racist, xenophobic project like a border wall.
Sounds to me like they are trying to play both sides of the fence. In Biden’s words, “Lots of luck.”
I’d have more respect if they stuck to their values and finished the invasion they started, but maybe it’s already done? Millions of illegals flowed into our country at the invitation of the White House and Democrat Party. Perhaps a bean counter in some Capitol Hill back room finally figured out they have enough illegals to secure power for the party in the years to come and now, finally, it’s more important to lie to Americans about how they solved this historic American catastrophe than maintain the flood of foreign nationals.

Wow! Faye, I think you covered it. I haven’t decided whether they lie because they think we’re too dumb to see through what they say, or because they don’t care what we think. Probably both. As far as Trump is concerned, I wholeheartedly agree. Democrats and sadly, many Republicans are terrified of a leader who won’t play their game of stringing us along, hurting Americans in the process, and doing absolutely nothing to make our country better. Trump got things done and Washington still hates him for showing how worthless and self-interested our elected officials are. The best way for him to end their hate is to be reelected. Afterwards he can’t run again and this will go away.

I wish you were wrong too, Paul, but your comments are spot on. The willingness of the GOP to bend to the will of the Democrat Party is infuriating, including their support of the last omnibus spending package. Democrats know better.
As far as insider trading is concerned, let’s relegate that to the same list as term limits and an earmark ban. The difference between Republicans and Democrats is a lot less than the difference between politicians from either party and the American people. Both know where their money comes from.
