Liars Govern America. Why Won’t Democrats Tell the Truth?

Democrats squeal in terror at the prospect of not being able to use your money to hurt you

If you need more evidence that Capitol Hill Democrats despise the hardworking Americans to whom they proclaim their undying allegiance, the current round of shutdown follies is proof positive how they really feel. This calculated political stunt will play out per unspoken congressional protocol to an 11th hour budget agreement that allows both parties to claim a partisan victory and declare American families the winners, at which time we will hear something like this:

The Fiscal Year 2023 government funding legislation is a significant victory for American families and our Democracy,” said Chairman Yarmuth.⁵⁰¹

That came from the Democrat House Budget Committee two days before Christmas 2022. To no one’s surprise, the government was funded despite squeals of imminent disaster if we didn’t keep filling the party’s trough so they could continue to hurt us.

Fortunately, the radical left is no longer in charge of the House.

Unfortunately, this gives Democrats license to squeal louder than ever:

The Republicans are going to inflict unnecessary pain and harm, and they can’t even explain why they’re trying to have a government shutdown. But it’s very simple. They just want to go back on a deal that was already voted on and negotiated.⁵⁰³

Joe Biden’s serial lying White House helped spread their threats:

And here’s what’s clear: if extreme House Republicans fail to ram through their radical agenda, they plan to take their frustration out on the American people by forcing a government shutdown that would undermine our economy and national security, create needless uncertainty for families and businesses, and have damaging consequences across the country.⁵⁰⁴

This is a pretty good summary of what the president and his party have already done to America. Biden talking about “damaging consequences” and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) threatening a “catastrophic, unnecessary Republican shutdown”⁵⁰⁵ would be hilarious if the situation they created was not so dire.

Many of us would very much like to see Mayorkas’ and Garlands’ funding cut off, but a government shutdown before an election year is political suicide and Republicans know it. So do their radical left opponents. Democrats are inveterate liars who will say anything to grow the power to hurt American families with our tax dollars so they can blame Republicans to placate their gullible base:

We’re united, unlike Republicans. We’re united around governing, around addressing the issues that families are facing right now. We’ve accomplished a lot of important work when Democrats were in the majority, and we know that families are still struggling, and there’s more to do, and that should be the focus.⁵⁰⁶

Not only is it true that Democrats are united around governing, gaining more power in November 2024 is all they care about:

The truth is that House Republicans are not serious about improving the lives of hardworking Americans. The Democrats are focused on the kitchen table issues that families are facing every day across the country, from lowering costs to creating good-paying jobs here in the US to make our communities safer. So that’s why the contrast is so important, something that we’re going to be focused on highlighting from now until next November.⁵⁰⁷

Our governing Democrat liars squeal threats of “pain and harm”⁵⁰⁸ for Americans while their war on fossil fuels, their illegal immigrant invasion, and their inflationary economic agenda do precisely that and beg the question of how much worse this unprecedented attack on the American people needs to get before a government shutdown that quits filling their trough is the only viable option to save our country.

Truth behind White House extreme budget threat is the best argument yet to turn off the lights until Democrats agree to fix the woke mess they made of America

Since January 2020 Democrats have worked lockstep with President Biden to implement their unprecedented attack on America. They assaulted our country and people on every imaginable front, from the border to our gas stations and grocery checkout lines, to our churches and public schools. They refused to stand up to our adversaries and worked with unions to indoctrinate and control our kids. The Biden administration enforced police state tactics to censor and intimidate dissenters while preaching to the nation that Republicans want to destroy our democracy.

The congressional left’s excitement over a government shutdown to use against Republicans next year is disgusting and based on the lie of their phony For the People agenda. If they really cared about American families they claim will be harmed by Republican budget cuts, they would not have pursued a damaging activist agenda that doesn’t address what most Americans want or even care about.

The Democrat Party made a woke mess of America

We are being punished by a president who, like recently deceased Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), seems to exist solely to do the mindless bidding of others while complicit party members cheer his lies and false accomplishments.

Most of us consider policies that advocate the invasion of America and state-enforced genital mutilation of children to be radical and extreme, but Democrats live in opposite land. They slap the extremist label on Republicans who make it easy by offering their usual tepid resistance to Washington’s radical left while they stab each other in the back when we need a united conservative front.

Now the GOP is about to wear the blame for a shutdown even if it doesn’t happen. Unlike Republicans, Democrats and especially the Biden White House are not constrained by facts, the truth, or culpability for their actions. They are immune to blame or sanction because they know Republicans are too weak and politically feckless to mount an effective response to their lies and propaganda assault on the nation.

White House budget cut list is a roadmap to America’s ruin

Yesterday, the White House handed Americans a list of talking points that details alleged threats to much-needed services, personnel, and spending that will be jeopardized by cuts to the federal budget. The release is a roadmap to America’s ruin that I took the liberty to edit so it tells the truth about what Democrats and our autocratic president have done to harm us and jeopardize our country’s future.

This is a partial list of what we risk with “Extreme House Republicans’ 30% Cuts.”⁵⁰⁹ The numbers in bold are from the White House. The rest is mine.

12,500 fewer FBI personnel to raid and intimidate the president’s political opposition, target Catholics, threaten parents of school children, and help protect the president from scrutiny over his foreign business affairs with his son Hunter.

500 fewer members of local law enforcement woke Democrats demanded we defund because of their racism and brutality.

2,215 fewer prosecutors to attack Biden’s 2024 challenger and do the weaponized Biden-Garland Justice Department’s bidding.

3.2 million women, infants, and children who will lose WIC benefits they badly need because the president’s disastrous economic policies made food too expensive for lower income Americans.

Funding for the retired Dr. Fauci’s National Institute of Health that provided funding to the Wuhan lab and lied to Americans about COVID-19 so the Washington left could push its authoritarian pandemic agenda.

Up to 145,000 fewer teachers and staff to indoctrinate your kids into the wonders of socialism, extreme and irreversible solutions for gender confusion, and gay pornography.

850,000 households might lose Housing Choice Vouchers they desperately need because Biden’s inflationary interest rates made rent and home buying unaffordable.

1 million American workers would be denied essential job training and services despite a low unemployment number the president constantly brags about and the 13.5 million jobs he lies about creating.

37,000 fewer Americans would receive substance use treatment services for the fentanyl and other drugs welcomed across the Biden Border.

Why no talk of cuts at the border?

There is no mention in the White House budget cuts list of the border or funding for the care, feeding, and enticement of Biden’s illegals. It’s safe to assume that this is because Democrats don’t want any resources at the border except for personnel to process foreign nationals into America. After that, they can dump the cost onto state and local taxpayers so federal cuts are not an issue.

If Republicans can find the spine to stand up to their opponents, this would be the place for the battle to start.

Coda: McCarthy buys 45 days to make sure these Democrat agenda items are funded

With a House stopgap just passed, Democrats can stop worrying. Assuming the Senate agrees, they can shelve their fears for 45 days that the agenda items I listed will come to a halt for want of funding. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is on the job and playing both sides of the aisle, apparently forgetting all the things he promised for votes before the midterms with his Commitment to America.

To refresh your memory, here is one of his most important vows:

Secure the Border and Combat Illegal Immigration

Record illegal border crossings under this Administration have led to more drugs, more crime, and a demoralized Border Patrol who are hamstrung from carrying out their law enforcement mission. The situation at the border has become both a national security and humanitarian crisis and must be addressed immediately.

The speaker outlined a plan to get the job done. The budget battle was his chance to deliver for conservative Americans as the crisis rages and we achieve record numbers of border crossings. Instead of action, we got a can kicked down the road for another 45 days that will, no doubt, be resolved in favor of Biden and the Democrat Party’s continuing effort to destroy our country beginning with their wide open border.
