In his Saturday address President Trump talked about Senate action on his first Supreme Court nominee that will “protect the rule of law and democratic way of life that is absolutely a birthright of all Americans.”1 That democratic way of life may be our right, but how often does it work for us when something needs to get done? That’s where visionary leaders make a difference. … [Read more...] about Visionary Leaders Save Us From Democratic Way of Life
Government Ethics
When the ends justify the means government ethics is an anachronism. Classic abuses like corruption in office are difficult to ignore and are usually punished sooner or later. A noteworthy exception is the Democrat Party's successful stonewalling of James Comer's investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden's alleged influence peddling schemes and compromise by China and Ukraine.
The worst kinds of unethical behavior are the ones we never see. They undermine what America stands for and what we value. Examples are political rhetoric that distorts the truth, pandering to big money donors, and selecting special interests for legislative favoritism.
All of these things point to how government ethics falls by the wayside when opportunity knocks at the offices of self-serving politicians.
Thanks to Elon Musk and the Trump administration's DOGE initiative, taxpayers finally have some insight into where our money is going. The news is not good. Democrats are furious at having their pants pulled down over covert funding of their radical priorities spread throughout our massive federal bureaucracy.
What is the Government Ethics category about?
The government ethics category is about what happens when political agenda takes precedence over what Americans value. From propaganda to fake new politics to outright thievery, if there is money and power to be had government ethics will be an inconvenience for politicians who place themselves above the best interests of the people.

Would it hurt less if we … [Read more...] about Income Tax Should Help Us Pay For Our Values and Beliefs
Confirmation Hearings Are a Pointless Partisan Circus
Were you surprised that Jeff Sessions didn’t show up for his confirmation hearings in a white robe and pointy hat? That’s what we were told to expect, but Sessions didn’t spew any racist invective. He didn’t prove to be the monster portrayed by the joint media-Democratic Party smear campaign based in large part on a contentious, thirty-year-old nomination for a judgeship. … [Read more...] about Confirmation Hearings Are a Pointless Partisan Circus

We Want Fear, Respect, Trust from President Trump
After the election the media gleefully brought us stories of people who were fearful of what a President Trump might do. Many were afraid of being deported. Others lived in fear of hate crimes. They recited what they had been told to believe. Their words only emphasized America’s need for fear, respect, and trust. Threats of a Trump overreach show just how skewed the country’s … [Read more...] about We Want Fear, Respect, Trust from President Trump
