Diversity Is a Strength That Makes Democrats Weak

March 11, 2019 by Bob Prokop Leave a Comment

Capitol in February. Architect of the Capitol.

Diversity is a pillar of the Democratic agenda that is threatening to crush hopes for a sweeping takeover next year. One of the party’s greatest strengths has always been its ability to reach a consensus, or at least the appearance of agreement on what members stand for. Now fringe elements are forcing the party down the same path that turned Republicans into a House minority. … [Read more...] about Diversity Is a Strength That Makes Democrats Weak

No Apologies Will Save Racially Insensitive Politicians

The IRS announcement that tax filing season is about to begin despite the partial shutdown sent a strong message to taxpayers about what we are good for in Washington’s eyes. We are here to fund our lawmakers’ government at their whim with no guarantee that they won’t deny us what we pay for. Democrats deny us a government despite massive taxpayer spending A March … [Read more...] about Democrats, Give Us the Government Taxpayers Pay For

When Democrats fall back on America’s founding principles to justify their anger and frustration the words ring hollow. The usual political hypocrisy is acceptable and expected and we hear it from both sides, but do liberal lawmakers think we are so unschooled that we can’t see how ridiculous they sound when they turn to the Founding Fathers for support? Defending American … [Read more...] about Founding Principles Democrats Still Get Wrong
