Mexico’s pledge of allegiance hit the House floor courtesy of the Victims’ Rights Caucus long before we started trashing the national anthem: Velasco Elementary in Texas celebrated Mexican Independence Day by handing out small Mexican flags and making children as young as pre-kindergarten stand as parents recited the Mexican pledge in Spanish. That pledge honors the heroes … [Read more...] about My Country Wrong Even When It’s Right?
American Values
The American Ideals and Values category includes posts on freedom and liberty, equality and rights, the battle between liberals and conservatives and most important, what it means to be American.
The bulwarks of American greatness espoused by our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution have been replaced by ideals and values dictated by increasingly divisive, polarized politics.
The growing might of a America's radical left undermines, re-imagines, and destroys our fundamental beliefs about what is good, morally justifiable, and worth protecting at any cost, whether that means protecting the sovereignty of our borders, defending the First Amendment, affirming property rights violated by squatters, or saying no to thriving, pro-terror antisemitism on college campuses.
President Biden's weaponized justice, covert censorship, election manipulation, and autocratic executive orders reimagined our great nation and started us down the path to social, economic, and moral decline.
We no longer live in the America envisioned by our Founders. We have devolved into a vicious, valueless Banana Republic for the sake of delivering overwhelming power to one political party.

What do these things have in common? They are all about inequity. They wouldn’t exist in a nation where we truly … [Read more...] about Equal Means Not Special in a Nation That Rewards Inequity
Evidence-Based Policymaking a Desperate Ploy by Ryan
Evidenced-based policymaking is the perfect Washington contradiction. Using facts and data isn’t what politicians who make policy do. Their real talent is creating, distorting, or outright ignoring the truth to get what they want. Both sides do it and they aren’t very good at hiding it, whether the goal is creating a hate crime trend or rationalizing spending more money with … [Read more...] about Evidence-Based Policymaking a Desperate Ploy by Ryan
Erase History for Alt Left, Preserve it For America’s Sake
The destruction of two Trump Business Advisory Councils* because members took offense after Charlottesville isn’t much of a tragedy. Corporate America is more than a little guilty of hypocrisy when it beats us over the head with its dedication to diversity, fairness, and tolerance. You usually don’t have to go out of your way to convince people what you really are. The problem … [Read more...] about Erase History for Alt Left, Preserve it For America’s Sake
