Update: why nothing you hear about Walz matters.
Soon to be crowned by the DNC in Chicago, substitute presidential candidate Kamala Harris is stubbornly opaque about what she plans for America if she takes over the White House. This would be criticized as a complete lack of transparency if she had anything to be transparent about. All we have is her radical past and do-nothing stint as the president’s perpetually smirking sidekick. Neither portend anything good, so it’s perplexing that she is already building a successful challenge to the Trump campaign.
Will of the people and democratic norms matter to Kamala, but there is a catch
Instead of the usual circular, go nowhere ramblings we are used to hearing from the vice president, we were finally offered some insight into Kamala’s values last week. After meeting with assorted “Western Hemisphere Ambassadors,” Harris’ National Security Advisor Phil Gordon spoke on her behalf:
Dr. Gordon emphasized that Vice President Harris stands with the people of Venezuela and believes the will of the Venezuelan people must be respected. He underscored the Vice President’s commitment to work with the international community to restore democratic norms in Venezuela. And he expressed the Vice President’s opposition to any political repression and violence.1
Kamala respects the will of the people?
She supports democratic norms?
Harris opposes political repression and violence? When she debates Trump, she can explain her support for anarchic “peaceful protests” and the bail funds we keep hearing about.
Democrats pretend to hold democracy sacred when it benefits them, like demanding democracy for Venezuelans. They probably like this word because it sounds like Democrat. Otherwise, they don’t have a problem with denying their base the most fundamental right and responsibility of we the people: the right to choose our leaders. Nor did the party’s state level operatives have an issue trying to control Republican voters’ choices by banning Trump from primary ballots.
Swapping Kamala Harris for the feeble, cognitively impaired candidate offered to primary voters has everything to do with we the Democrats and rejecting the consent of the governed. The party is ushering in a new era of Democrat-only democracy that only the will of the people can put a stop to by refusing to vote for anti-American radicalism.
If Kamala objects to bypassing voters, she should say so. Harris eschewed democratic norms when she joined Biden to cross the line from democracy to authoritarianism to outright autocracy. She is an ardent supporter of the destruction of American greatness. Her failure to do her job is responsible for the murders, rapes, assaults, robberies, and other attacks on our citizens by illegal foreign nationals the pair welcomed across the border.
White House radicals paid by taxpayers to serve the people tried to regulate the vehicles and appliances we are allowed to purchase. Ironically, the Biden and Harris economy took purchasing any kind of car off the table for many Americans. Food came first and even that is still a problem.
Taxpayer money is a different matter. Kamala extended the Green New Deal electric vehicle narrative to cash-strapped public schools. Her ode to yellow school buses is a dimwitted classic:
So here’s the thing: Who doesn’t love a yellow school bus, right? Can you raise your hand if you love a yellow school bus, right? (Applause.) Just — there’s something about the — and — and most of us, many of us went to school on the yellow school bus, right? And it’s part of — it’s part of our — our experience growing up.2
Right?
Wrong.
Ignoring the will of the people and denying voters the right to choose their car, furnace, or presidential candidate is not something Harris or the DNC will lose sleep over. The question is whether voters will buy into this historic denial of democracy, a power play by liberal party elites who decided the primary election process is a disposable inconvenience even if it leads to a candidate whose nonsensical remarks sound like the ramblings of her cognitively challenged predecessor:
So, ultimately, in this moment, I know we all know, we each in our country face a question.3
Yes, we do. Protecting democracy is still every American’s responsibility. Will the Democrat Party base rebel, or will they suck it up and cast their ballot for a candidate forced on them by their betters?
I’ve always suspected that many Americans would send a chimpanzee to the White House if the media and their party told them to. Instead of a monkey, we have a do-nothing, radical left career politician who abdicated her responsibility to protect our sovereign border and won’t say what her plans are to fix what we the people want fixed.
Stop blaming Kamala: Democrat voters are the ones at fault
Democrats don’t care about your consent, stupid
After three and half years of Harris and Biden, voters should have received the message loud and clear: the consent of the governed does not matter to the president, Democrat Party, liberal elites like the Obamas, or this cackling, do-nothing career machine politician who stands a very good chance of becoming our 47th president.
Liberal queen makers will not waver in their belief that they know better than the monkey in a suit sheep whose minds they control. With the media in the party’s back pocket, the DNC knows it can propagandize its way through political typhoons including the pervasive false threat that Trump will destroy democracy despite Harris’ nomination offending the very notion that the consent of the governed matters.
Our consent does not matter and neither does the vote
The Declaration of Independence proudly proclaims that our government derives its powers from the consent of the governed. This raises a very troubling question.
Kamala’s political past, her blank record as vice president, and refusal to protect America from foreign invaders are reasons enough to turn and run from the idea that this wayward product of California liberalism should be our next president.
Left-leaning Americans handed Joe Biden enough delegates to clinch the nomination. Now voters don’t know what they voted for. Who and what does Kamala represent? The “Harris for President” website is big on fund raising, but if you want to what policies she stands behind, don’t bother looking. The campaign endorses the Pelosi maxim: vote first and then we’ll let you know what you got.
Don’t think for a moment that her candidacy is just a bad joke. It’s not. The crowning of Queen Kamala by the DNC this month is a joke to be sure, but the gag is on we the people. The threat of a President Harris is very real and as Biden would say, “that’s no joke.” We are the butt end of another anti-democracy, Democrat Party machine election charade that’s just getting started.
At least Queen Kamala is a good liar
Besides shirking her responsibility for border security and stumping for killing as many babies as our health care system can effectively dispatch, Harris has no policy agenda or accomplishments to run on. Lies, yes. Like Biden before her, Queen Kamala is a hubris-laden serial liar who has no respect for the intelligence of we the people whose votes she hopes will plant her derriere on the Oval Office throne.
For example:
But as we move forward — as we move our nation forward, Donald Trump, as I said and as we know, intends to take our country backward. And as a prime example, just look at his Project 2025 agenda. Project 2025 is a plan to weaken the middle class.4
Project 2025 is not Trump’s plan. This is a lie aggressively spread by Harris and the DNC’s shameless and equally radical media.
Regardless of your gender, imagine that in this year of our Lord, 2024, one in three women of reproductive age lives in a state with a Trump abortion ban.5
Another oft-repeated Kamala lie. Trump never passed an abortion ban anytime, anyplace, or anywhere.
Harris also spreads the out of context falsehood that Trump plans to be a dictator. She warns of alleged plots to weaponize the Department of Justice against Trump’s political enemies, something the Biden-Harris White House and the Democrat Party’s nationwide judicial network have already done.
As former California attorney general and Biden’s second in command, she knows how it works.
Kamala stands for hard work and freedom?
Stumping in West Allis, Wisconsin, Harris spewed hypocrisy to an adoring crowd. After her historic refusal to do the hard work of securing the border, she offered this:
But we’re not afraid of hard work. We like hard work, don’t we? (Applause.)6
Even though she will become a presidential candidate by DNC fiat, Queen Kamala still reveres the right to vote:
We who believe in the sacred freedom to vote — (applause) — will make sure every American has the ability to cast their ballot and have it counted. (Applause.)7
Her laughter while talking about America, freedom, and the rule of law is disturbing and speaks for itself:
A country — (laughter and applause). And to your point — (laughter) — do we want to live in a country of freedom, compassion, and rule of law — (applause) — or a country of chaos, fear, and hate?8
You can stop laughing now. The joke is on us.
Queen Kamala is a fraud created by power-hungry Democrats and a fawning, complicit media that discarded any notion of honest reporting long ago. Are we, the people so gullible that we’re willing to hand our great nation to another shameless political hack whose glowing record exists solely in her own mind?
My guess is yes. When it happens, don’t blame Kamala. It’s the fault of we the people. She can’t be president unless we give our consent in November.
UPDATE August 7, 2024: why nothing you hear about Walz matters.
The surprise is over. Harris outed her running mate and conservative media is doing what it does best: preaching to the choir about the dangers of Tim Walz and his radical track record, a political history that even some left-wing extremists would call extreme. Republican voters are reminded how Minneapolis burned during the George Floyd peaceful protest riots. We’re hearing about Walz’s endorsement of illegals and sanctuary policies, his socialist proclivities and how they complement Queen Kamala’s Marxist leanings.
I’m writing this to assure you that none of this matters. Nothing you hear from the pundits at Fox News or any other conservative media outlet will have any impact on the outcome of this election. Like its lefty media competition, viewers are listening because they are being told what they want to hear. Kamala Harris supporters are not tuning in. You can trust me on that.
Had Harris chosen a baboon in a fancy suit, the polls would probably stay right where they are now. When push comes to shove, we the people back our party through thick and thin even when it hurts us.
The fact that do-nothing, radical leftist Harris has already mustered enough support to pull ahead of Trump in polls reported by The Hill this morning without being nominated or earning a single vote is a stark reminder that choosing Walz for her running mate will not lessen her chances of defeating Trump. If anything, it legitimizes a historically radical Democrat ticket.
Harris helped Biden hurt middle and working class Americans. She allowed our country to be invaded by illegals and alleged terrorists who rape and murder our citizens. Kamala helped feckless Joe make America look weak and foolish on the world stage. When the president’s appalling debate performance finally took him out of the running, voters were not involved in their party’s decision on who would take his place. The numbers haven’t showed any sign of a rebellion. Democrat voters would likely support Biden over Trump even if he became publicly incontinent and lost the ability to speak altogether.
Walz is a white guy. If you squint, he looks a little like Biden. If you think this is an accident, think harder.
After George Floyd was killed by police in Minneapolis, the city burned during the Summer of Anarchy. Walz handily beat his Republican opponent two years later.
Excited about the ousters of Bush and Bowman? Don’t be.
Yes, St. Louis voters rid themselves of Israel hater Cori Bush yesterday. As Red State points out, Bush was replaced by another progressive. Fire alarm puller Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) is also out of the race, but don’t expect him to be replaced by a Republican, either. This has nothing to do with voters dumping the Democrat Party and everything to do with ousting two bad candidates who mouthed off too many times and never should have been elected in the first place.
What’s my point?
Voters vote their party. Even an extremist like Tim Walz will have minimal, if any negative impact on Harris’ chance to win the White House. The opposite is more likely true given that Harris is already so far left she’s in danger of falling off a socialist cliff. This isn’t about the hearts and minds of voters. This is about pulling the same lever they pull every time they step into the voting booth.
If you don’t believe this is true, have another look at those poll numbers. I stand by my hypothesis. A baboon in a fancy suit would be no less deleterious to the ticket than Tim Walz.
