Christmas shopping? Democrats took away your freedom to visit the cities your tax dollars keep afloat.
The absurd blame-shifting from Democrats trying to explain the crime wave in their cities will not make the smash and grabs, the carjackings, the looting, and the shootings go away. Perhaps that’s the point. Agenda takes precedence over reality. They have their anti-policing, be kind to criminals activist base to answer to. Taxpayers can wait.
Aside from talk about vaccine passports and the draconian travel restrictions some cities and states implemented earlier in the pandemic, our freedom to visit the big cities our tax dollars keep afloat is unrestricted except for one thing. Who wants to take the risk? I live close
to Chicago where nothing is off limits to criminals including the tony stores on the Magnificent Mile and the car I have to drive to get there.
The left doesn’t want to talk about this particular elephant in the room. Perpetuating the narrative about racist law enforcement and criminal justice is far too important. Instead, we get district attorneys like Los Angeles’ George Gascon and prosecutors like Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx coming up with every excuse in the book for rising crime rates in their cities except for the one that makes sense.
Psaki explains looting
When asked about the impetus behind organized groups that loot stores, Jenn Psaki suggested the reasons were guns, gun violence, and the pandemic. That explanation doesn’t make a lot of sense. Did you expect that it would? Guns don’t commit crimes, gun violence is a type of crime, and the pandemic is just a convenient excuse for everything bad that happens.
Psaki was also asked about Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s remarks that shifted guilt to Chicago retailers for not spending money on security employees and AOC’s suggestion that smash and grabs might be fake news. She responded with gibberish:
And I think our actions and the work that we have had in working with the Justice Department, the FBI, and federal law enforcement show that we take — we’ve seen some of these extremely video — extremely disturbing videos showing retail thefts in both major retailers — as well as state and local leaders, like Governor Newsom, have identified this as a serious concern.176
Did Joe Biden write that for her? It sure sounds like he did.
Psaki also mentioned the COPS program that provides money to hire more police officers in liberal bastions like LA and San Francisco. 177 Most of us thought the left staked their claim to less policing and more criminality in these cities thanks in part to California’s Proposition 47, the hilariously titled Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act and the prevailing Democrat Party hypothesis that less policing and more kindness means less crime.
So what does any of this have to do with your freedom? Your federal and state tax dollars keep these urban crime centers afloat. The money funds Democrats’ efforts to make their cities not only unlivable, but too dangerous to even visit. We can’t spend a day Christmas shopping downtown when walking into a store places us in a crime scene and strolling back to the car means facing a gun and handing over our keys.
If you’re old enough to remember the movie Escape From New York perhaps that’s the solution to the problem. We can assign our most violent cities to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Retailers and responsible citizens with the means to leave will be gone in short order anyway and we can evacuate those who are left who don’t have lengthy criminal records. There is still freedom and safety in our small towns, or at least there is for now. Let’s keep them out of Democrat Party hands and perhaps they will stay that way.
UPDATE December 12, 2021:
The Supreme Court is the last line of defense for your freedoms. Democrats just proved again that they hate that.
Last week the Supreme Court decided not to quash Texas’ new abortion law after the state was sued by Joe Biden’s aggressively radical Justice Department. As soon as the decision was announced the president joined fellow Democrats to prove once again that they place no value in our highest court unless the justices are doing the party’s bidding.
Biden, or whoever tells him what to say made this statement:
I am very concerned by the Supreme Court’s decision to allow SB8 to remain in effect in light of the significant consequences that law has for women in Texas and around the country, and for the rule of law.178
He probably meant “for Democrats around the country.” Certainly SCOTUS has a better handle on the rule of law than a White House that is determined to flout this concept whenever it stands in the way of party agenda.
Kamala Harris issued her own clumsy remarks that disregarded SCOTUS’ involvement:
And so we will continue to fight for the constitutional right of all women to make decisions about their own body without interference by some legislative group of people that think that they can replace their judgment with hers.179
Did Ilhan Omar write that? It sounds suspiciously like “some people did something.” Anyway, these comments come from the same White House that flexes its authoritarian muscle and flagrantly bypasses the rule of law when it suits Biden’s priorities, whether that means bypassing immigration law or attempting to force a nationwide vaccine health mandate on Americans by threatening their livelihoods.
Reps. Diana DeGette (D-CO) and Barbara Lee (D-CA) called the decision “shameful” and accused the court of failing to protect access to abortions. Then they added this:
Everyone in this country – regardless of where they live or how much money they make – has a right to make their own decisions about their health and their future.180
Did they check with the president first? It sure sounds like Biden’s vaccine mandate tried to take that right away before the courts said no.
Undermining the legitimacy of the Supreme Court takes away our freedom and the freedom of our states to act on our behalf without oppression from a runaway executive branch. SCOTUS is the last line of defense to protect our freedoms against autocrats like Joe Biden, who signed an order in April 2021 creating a commission to investigate reforming our chief judicial gatekeeper. The draft final report was issued last week.
When something stands in the way of Democrats inflicting their radical agenda they slander, they threaten, they persecute, and then they investigate. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) showed how it’s done after the high court’s September 2021 decision to not block the Texas law:
And because the Court has now shown repressive state legislatures how to game the system, the House Judiciary Committee will hold hearings to shine a light on the Supreme Court’s dangerous and cowardly use of the shadow docket. Decisions like this one chip away at our democracy.181
There it is again: slander, threats, and an investigation. Agree with us or we will hurt you.
Hacks like Nadler who supported the Democrat Party’s phony Trump-Russia investigation to interfere with the 2020 election also chip away at our democracy. That’s why we need an independent Supreme Court that doesn’t take it’s marching orders from anyone and especially from authoritarian ideologues like Biden. The freedoms granted to you and to your state depend on it.

“We are in charge and we’ll make your life hell:”
seven ways Democrats took away your freedom to be happy in 2021.
The simplest, most basic freedom Americans enjoy is the freedom to live happy lives without interference from our government. In 2021 Democrats took that freedom away. They did everything they could to make sure Americans are just as unhappy and miserable as they are.
How did they go about it?
1. They made white people America’s #1 enemy.
As long as Democrats are in power and want more money we will be the object of hatred and scorn. Learn to live with it because it’s not going to stop.
2. Capitalism and our free market economy are rotten to the core.
They are based on racism, white supremacy, and are responsible for destroying the environment and ending all life on earth. Communism is the left’s solution for America’s climate woes, but they haven’t explained why communist China isn’t a green, environmentally-friendly economy.
3. We lost the freedom to have a say in our schools under threat of jail.
Being involved in our kids’ educations used to be a happy, positive thing. The White House replaced it with the threat of handcuffs and jail. Why? A teacher’s union said to.
4. Feeling safe is an important part of life in a civilized society.
Feeling safe grants you the freedom to go where you choose and do what you want. Democrats took that freedom away with criminal justice reform, no cash bail laws, efforts to control and even shut down policing, and Joe Biden’s open borders immigration policy that let God know what Into our country.
WGN News reported yesterday that the Democratic Party leader of the Illinois State Senate just had her Mercedes SUV carjacked at gunpoint in Chicago. Don’t expect that, or any other crime suffered by a public official to make a difference. Taxpayers will just shell out more for private security so politicians can feel safe while they place our lives at risk.
5. The Biden administration brought us shortages, inflation, and higher prices.
The high cost of socialism isn’t here yet, but we got a taste anyway. It’s hard to enjoy the freedom to be happy when you have to fear for your financial future at the hands of ideologues who will not be impacted by their doomed to fail economic agenda.
6. Just in case we were looking forward to the holidays scattered through the year the left attacked these happy days, too.
BLM called for a Christmas boycott of white-owned businesses. Thanksgiving came under attack. The Fourth of July was a celebration of racism and white supremacy.
Are there any holidays the left actually enjoys? May Day is the only one I can think of. Juneteenth is a new political holiday that doesn’t really celebrate the end of slavery, but reminds us that we are all racists who will never, ever be able to atone for something no one alive is responsible for.
7. Democrats lied their way through the 2020 election and now we’re stuck with a president who isn’t firing on all cylinders.
That means a historic disaster in Afghanistan and being dominated by China and Russia. Worse, a major foreign policy stumble could get us involved in a war that could easily escalate to a nuclear conflict. Climate change activists don’t seem concerned. They should be.
Then we have the pandemic.
As American deaths get closer to that one million mark Biden continues to let China go scot-free. How many people have to die before we admit that COVID-19 is just another type of war and that the PRC won, hands-down?
The holidays are here and along with it fear mongering, warnings, vindictiveness against the unvaccinated, and new restrictions on our freedom to do something as simple as dine in a restaurant or work out in a gym. A rumored outbreak at the White House and Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Corey Booker’s (D-NJ) breakthrough cases add to a list that proves those on the left who spent 2021 telling us what to do can’t even protect themselves. Perhaps they should try the same restrictions on their personal freedom as their party imposes on ours.

Illegal immigrant? If you think you have more freedom with Biden and his Democrats you had better read this first.
Illegals, beware. If you think you have arrived at the promised land you had better examine your politics. This isn’t Donald Trump’s America. This is Joe Biden and the Democrat Party’s America. Unlike Trump they will welcome you with open arms, but now there are conditions to what being an American means even though they assure you that you are, in fact, an American in all ways but one. If you don’t live up to their expectations not only are you not wanted here, they will hate everything about you.
You probably know there is a big election coming this November and that Democrats are determined to not protect the ballot box from illegal voting. Your first vote will be exciting and a lot easier if they pass their John Lewis Voter Fraud bill. Just remember one thing: you have to vote for Democrats. The more radical, the better. It won’t make sense to you that candidates who want to hold office in this great country hate America, but don’t worry about it. This is how Democrats think. What they want for you has nothing to do with what they want for themselves.
Democrats also have a habit of reversing their position when things don’t go their way. If they see the illegal vote trending towards Republicans, which it should if you came to America to work hard like they say, they will round you up and kick you out and rewrite their voting rights bill until it goes their way. Make no mistake. Democrats hate Republicans and conservative Republicans, in particular, more than anything on the face of this earth. Being an illegal voter only makes you special if you vote for their party.
My advice? Stay away until 2024. See how things shake out. If Trump comes back it will be harder to get into America, but it will be a place worth coming to. For now, Democrats are busy taking away the freedoms of anyone who doesn’t support their agenda. That means your promised land, for all practical purposes, no longer exists.

We took back some freedom today and tyrant Biden doesn’t like it.
“I’m a capitalist” says Joe Biden. Can he show us some proof? The president showed what he really believes after the Supreme Court handed his administration another defeat:
As a result of the Court’s decision, it is now up to States and individual employers to determine whether to make their workplaces as safe as possible for employees, and whether their businesses will be safe for consumers during this pandemic by requiring employees to take the simple and effective step of getting vaccinated.182
What a concept. Business owners get to decide what’s best for their employees and their companies instead of being forced to follow the dictates of a president and his flock of radical bureaucrats who are hard at work proving they are fundamentally incapable of managing anything and leave ruin in the wake of everything they touch.
Biden shows how he really feels about our nation’s employers when he implies that they might not make workplaces safe for employees and consumers without his vaccine mandate. I don’t know what “safe” means to the president, but safety is not what he has delivered to America. If it was a priority we’d be awash in treatments and tests. Instead, the only weapons in his COVID arsenal are vaccines developed by a president who knew how to manage a crisis and work with the private sector to get what he needed. Biden will never be able to do that because he distrusts capitalism just like he despises or distrusts practically everything else about America. Thank the Supreme Court for returning a measure of freedom to our employers and workers by stopping this tyrant in his tracks.

People do not understand how the Democrats and the Obama administration are slowly strangling the very freedoms that the Revolution was fought for. The facts are clear when you see the Constitution being trampled on by Obama, and then realize that he could not pass a gun owner background check, which is why he has sealed “ALL” of his records.
If congress were to pass any new legislation on background checking it must include the requirement that “ALL” politicians running for public office must “PASS” those requirements or be disqualified.
As it stands right now, Obama could not ” PASS” a standard FBI check from the details that were written in his book, which is why his certification was challenged. The judges that had cases before them refused to hear the arguments and thusly dismissed those cases. What gutless wonders we have in the justice system including the Supreme Court.
Obama is tearing our nation apart. and he is banking on the ignorant that don’t pay attention. obama has a shady past and i am not convinced that he is a true citizen of the united states. If you vote democrat you are voting to end america as a freedom country. Obama is taking it all away and people are not paying attention. when it’s gone and you are under the control of a dictator you will wish you had paid attention. but this country has been under attack before obama but now it’s speeded up so much it will be a miracle if we can keep it

I agree, it’s pretty amazing that no matter how bad things are or how misguided the actions of public officials, they still manage to convince people to support what they do. Watch what happens in the Illinois governor’s race next week. If Pat Quinn wins, it’s a pretty good sign that we are truly lost.
freedom from harm is not a reasonable freedom. Freedom from unjust aggression is reasonable, and the primary reason for government.

Interesting how some of what’s happening now at the hands of government could be considered unjust aggression, like the searches they conducted in Rhode Island looking for New Yorkers. It’s difficult to know where to draw the line between government overreach and the public interest, but that was quite a line to cross.
