UPDATE September 1, 2021: Democrats take away our freedom from political purges
Democrats attacking our freedoms are building their political might to use against dissenters. First and foremost that means taking away the freedom to be safe from political purges that we usually associate with countries like China and Russia.
Spreading fear of our fellow Americans is critical. Yesterday Nancy Pelosi’s press office shrieked in a press release McCarthy Silent As Another of His Members Calls for ‘Bloodshed.’143 The source was a USA Today article that reported Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) ‘warns of ‘bloodshed’ over a rigged and stolen election system.144 That’s a far cry from calling for bloodshed, but truth is not what Democrats convey. They are so blinded by hate that they don’t see how threatened many Americans are by their dishonesty and determination to end our two-party system with legislation like H.R. 1 and a new attack on the freedom to keep our private communications private.
As reported by The Hill, Pelosi’s January 6 Select Committee sent letters to 35 companies as a prelude to going after the communications records of those under the committee’s radar. 145 Republican lawmakers are in the spotlight, which should be no surprise to anyone considering the very real possibility that House Democrats will be trounced next fall for this kind of extreme overreach that proves how little they value our freedoms.
Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) detailed what Democrats are after with the letters that went to 15 social media companies:
In letters to the companies, Chairman Thompson seeks information including records related to the spread of misinformation, efforts to overturn the 2020 election or prevent the certification of the results, domestic violent extremism, and foreign influence in the 2020 election.146
“Misinformation” is a pretty broad net, but the January 6 Committee is not about January 6 any more than our open borders are about protecting refugees. If Democrats can access the private communications of alleged insurrectionists then every American should fear the purge that comes next with the excuse that protecting our democracy outweighs every other consideration.
Democrats hate the liberties we enjoy because freedom is inimical to controlling our lives. Being able to talk on the phone or communicate with emails and text messages without worrying that disagreeing with the prevailing political narrative could land us in jail is so fundamental that we don’t even think about, or at least not until now. We probably don’t think much about political purges, either, but this follow-up to President Biden’s warning about domestic terrorism is a warning to everyone who values their freedom to think very hard about what’s coming next after the January 6th Committee clears the way.
UPDATE September 9, 2021: Biden just tried to take away not only your freedom, but the freedom of your business, too
I heard him say it but I still can’t believe it. The president just dipped a tentative toe into the icy waters of authoritarian control over our private sector businesses.
Is this really about COVID, or is this about loosening up the nation for the socialist hegemony Biden is planning for his party? He is pushing the limits of authoritarian rule and opening the door for government crackdowns in response to each and every threat whether real or political.
If you thought you would never hear a speech where America’s president dictated that you and your business change your behaviors to save the environment, that possibility is no longer as far-fetched as it sounds. For now, let’s hope we get through flu season without being confined to our homes under penalty of law.
UPDATE September 11, 2021: authoritarian Pelosi takes away your freedom by turning vaccine mandate resistance into another insurrection
It’s pretty widely accepted that Joe Biden is firing on less than a full set of spark plugs. To his credit he can’t even come close to what’s coming from Nancy Pelosi’s press office.
In the speaker’s latest fusillade against our freedoms a September 10, 2021 press release equates Democrats’ self-styled January 6 Insurrection with resistance to Biden’s vaccine mandate.
It starts out with this lie about the Capitol riot:
Insurrectionists stormed the United States Capitol in an effort to overturn an election and murder elected officials less than eight months ago. 147
… and then it suddenly turns to this:
This week, in response to overwhelmingly popular vaccine mandates that will save lives and keep our schools open, House Republicans encouraged “a full on revolt” and promoted anti-vax disinformation.148
Are we supposed to draw some kind of connection between the two? Of course we are.
Authoritarian Democrats are teetering on the brink of totalitarianism over COVID-19. They are determined to take away our freedom to even question Biden’s determination to force Americans to get vaccinated by attacking our employers.
Resisting what will most certainly be declared an illegal abuse of presidential power is not an insurrection. This is how democracy works. We own the government. The government does not own us. Either Pelosi has lost her mind, or she doesn’t read her own press releases and is employing someone who is even more deranged than our failing president.
UPDATE September 18, 2021: freedom to hold a rally about justice
The single worst thing that could happen to the congressional left today is a peaceful rally in Washington. Democrats have been warning about the Justice for J6 rally to feed their narrative about the right-wing extremist threat:
Given the violent tendencies of the right-wing extremists who plan to attend, it is obvious that this rally poses a threat to the Capitol, those who work here, and the law enforcement officers charged with protecting our democracy149
Imagine the outcry from Democrats who turn a blind eye to left-wing extremism had a Republican issued this statement last year:
Given the violent tendencies of the left-wing extremists who plan to attend the BLM rallies, it is obvious that these rallies pose a threat.
The screams about racism would have been deafening.
The Democrats who issued the Justice for J6 warning were not silent while glass broke, fires burned, and business owners lost their livelihoods. This was from Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) and his Democrat colleagues in a letter to AG William Barr:
During a time when protests are erupting throughout the nation and around the world from people of all races and socioeconomic backgrounds our attention is being called to the suffering of black and brown people here in the United States.150
Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) stoked fear about today’s justice rally, possibly forgetting she blamed Donald Trump for the same thing:
It is time elected leaders take action, not encourage violence and stoke fear. This President and those in his administration have sat idly by while relationships between law enforcement and communities of color have continued to fray and unrest persists all over the country.151
Dual system of justice for illegals vs. January 6 prisoners?
Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) spoke of the difference in justice meted out to the left vs. the treatment of Trump supporters:
Sadly, there are two systems of justice that exist in our country today: one for former President Trump along with those who support or don’t hate him, and the other for everyone else. What we are seeing now is harassment and persecution of Trump supporters, many of whom were not even in Washington, DC that day. Even the guilty who committed repugnant acts should not have their rights trampled just to feed the irrational hatred of former President Trump.152
That dual system of justice means solitary confinement for select January 6 defendants.153 When it comes to solitary for illegal immigrants, however, Democrats protested in a letter to the DHS Inspector General demanding an “immediate investigation.”154
For now justice is in the eyes of the growing Democrat Party police state. Illegals and urban insurrectionists are objects of sympathy while conservative Americans are the nation’s #1 terror threat. That’s a pretty heavy burden to bear considering the terror haven our president established in Afghanistan, but rest assured that everyone attending today’s rally will have their pictures taken, backgrounds investigated, and what else? Democrats will keep that information to themselves while they do everything in their power to suppress the freedom to hold a conservative rally about justice protected by the First Amendment.
UPDATE September 25, 2021: for women in America, Pelosi says freedom means abortion. What does it mean for women in Afghanistan?
On September 24, 2021 Speaker Nancy Pelosi gathered with the House Democratic Women’s Caucus to highlight what her party has done to Build Back Better for Women. For Pelosi, freedom for women in America means abortion:
This is about women’s right to choose, yes, but it is about freedom, freedom of that choice and freedom from the vigilantes, the bounty hunters that the Texas government – legislature has set in motion.155
Five days before, Pelosi commended Biden for his Afghanistan withdrawal plan:
As Speaker, I commend the President for his strong, steadfast leadership in ending a forever war.156
The hypocrisy of talking about the freedom of women to do anything after praising Biden’s newest catastrophe was most certainly lost on her fellow Democrats. Their thoughts on advancing women focus on one politically opportune issue: abortion.
The congressional left uses alleged humanitarian affronts in Central America to justify admitting hordes of illegals. They don’t say much about the humanitarian crisis for women in Afghanistan whose freedoms were taken away along with the lives of two American women serving in the military: Marine Sgt. L. Nicole Gee and Marine Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo.
In any other context Pelosi’s remarks would be an unforgivably dark joke:
The Congress will continue to work closely with President Biden and the Administration, as we are briefed regularly and work to address the security and humanitarian challenges that remain for evacuees and those who wish to be evacuated. We pray for the people of Afghanistan and in the region.157
“Briefed regularly,” “work to address,” and “challenges that remain” all mean the same thing: we don’t give a s***. It’s over except for the lies and the new freedom for women in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
UPDATE October 1, 2021: money is freedom. Democrats are going to hurt your family and take your money away because they want that freedom for themselves.
On Wednesday Liar-In-Chief Biden was joined by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to repeat the falsehood that their reconciliation bill costs nothing:
The three underlined their commitment to the Build Back Better Act, which will mean historic tax cuts for middle class families and small businesses, make health care, child care, and caring for elderly Americans more affordable, and take on climate change—with a price tag of $0 because it will repeal special, wasteful tax giveaways to the rich and big corporations.158
Americans know this is a lie even if they support the bill. So is most everything Biden says, for that matter, but this one is especially important. It’s the lie Democrats will use to take your freedom away.
Money is freedom. It gives you the power to make choices and opens opportunities. Money and the freedom it brings is the difference between the House and Senate politicians raping America and the people they say they represent.
Democrats reach back generations to hurt your family
Democrats not only want to seize your money, they want your children’s, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents, too. Lawmakers are going to steal your families’ legacy for their own use by raising estate taxes, taxing unrealized capital gains, placing other draconian restrictions on how much wealth your family is entitled to own, and rewriting the tax code to oppress Americans who don’t want to be dependent on the government.
“The wealthy” are the marginalized targets of their hateful propaganda, but make no mistake. This is all about hurting you and your family.
There is a reason Democrats made their reconciliation legislation so lengthy that no will read it, including the thieves on Capitol Hill who promote this anti-American atrocity to constituents who should know better. They don’t want anyone to know what they are about to do.
Extremist Democrats’ dissatisfaction with the extent of their party’s planned destruction of America would be hilarious if this was a movie, but it’s not. This is very real. If you want proof for who is the butt of the joke, look at the depressed urban black communities who have relied on the Democrat Party for generations. Not only do they not progress, as Democrats secured power over the nation after Trump’s departure the violence in the cities they run exploded as liberal, anti-policing policies took hold.
I worked in the Chicago Loop for many years and never worried about my safety even when I walked to the train station late at night. That was then. Now, I would not set foot in that violent, bullet-ridden, economically decrepit hellhole where children are murdered with impunity every single day and the search for more tax revenue never ends.
Chicago is what Democrats will do to America. They will take away your family’s money and with it your freedom and opportunity. They will destroy our business sector with taxes and climate-sparing, activist-appeasing regulations while repeating to middle class Americans who will lose their jobs that life will be better soon, that sky-high prices and taxes will go down, and that non-existent green energy jobs will pay more money.
These Democrats are not Americans
Your mother, father, and their parents worked very hard to own that slightly above modest, middle class home you live in or to build your small business or family farm. Democrats are going to steal what generations of your family strived for. They will spend your money on illegal immigrants who deserve nothing but a quick exit from our country and all manner of extremist priorities they owe their activist base in return for political support.
The hyenas who back this reconciliation bill and especially those who scream that it’s not enough are not Americans. Any true American can see in an instant why what they are doing is so wrong.

People do not understand how the Democrats and the Obama administration are slowly strangling the very freedoms that the Revolution was fought for. The facts are clear when you see the Constitution being trampled on by Obama, and then realize that he could not pass a gun owner background check, which is why he has sealed “ALL” of his records.
If congress were to pass any new legislation on background checking it must include the requirement that “ALL” politicians running for public office must “PASS” those requirements or be disqualified.
As it stands right now, Obama could not ” PASS” a standard FBI check from the details that were written in his book, which is why his certification was challenged. The judges that had cases before them refused to hear the arguments and thusly dismissed those cases. What gutless wonders we have in the justice system including the Supreme Court.
Obama is tearing our nation apart. and he is banking on the ignorant that don’t pay attention. obama has a shady past and i am not convinced that he is a true citizen of the united states. If you vote democrat you are voting to end america as a freedom country. Obama is taking it all away and people are not paying attention. when it’s gone and you are under the control of a dictator you will wish you had paid attention. but this country has been under attack before obama but now it’s speeded up so much it will be a miracle if we can keep it

I agree, it’s pretty amazing that no matter how bad things are or how misguided the actions of public officials, they still manage to convince people to support what they do. Watch what happens in the Illinois governor’s race next week. If Pat Quinn wins, it’s a pretty good sign that we are truly lost.
freedom from harm is not a reasonable freedom. Freedom from unjust aggression is reasonable, and the primary reason for government.

Interesting how some of what’s happening now at the hands of government could be considered unjust aggression, like the searches they conducted in Rhode Island looking for New Yorkers. It’s difficult to know where to draw the line between government overreach and the public interest, but that was quite a line to cross.
