Here’s a quick history lesson: the pilgrims came to America nearly a century and a half before the Declaration of Independence was signed. They intruded on a country that had no central government or laws. The states did not exist. America was a wilderness. The indigenous people didn’t need them and in retrospect would have been better off had they never come. American … [Read more...] about Generosity is an American Affliction: Get Over It
American Values
The American Ideals and Values category includes posts on freedom and liberty, equality and rights, the battle between liberals and conservatives and most important, what it means to be American.
The bulwarks of American greatness espoused by our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution have been replaced by ideals and values dictated by increasingly divisive, polarized politics.
The growing might of a America's radical left undermines, re-imagines, and destroys our fundamental beliefs about what is good, morally justifiable, and worth protecting at any cost, whether that means protecting the sovereignty of our borders, defending the First Amendment, affirming property rights violated by squatters, or saying no to thriving, pro-terror antisemitism on college campuses.

America is Great, but How Do We Make it Good?
No presidential candidate will claim that America isn’t great. That kind of heresy would be political suicide. No matter what party they have pledged allegiance to, anyone running for our nation’s highest office will proudly proclaim that America is great and always has been. Then they will tell you how we can make it better because while our nation has a history of greatness, … [Read more...] about America is Great, but How Do We Make it Good?
When Is By the People, for the People Wrong?
Republicans have a problem. A big problem. When government that is supposed to rule by the people, for the people gives the people what they want, how can the party say no? Despite the conservative rejection of same sex marriage, polls show that the nation’s opinion had shifted well in advance of Friday’s ruling. The same thing is happening with immigration, the minimum … [Read more...] about When Is By the People, for the People Wrong?
