Harris’s Moment is a Historic Threat to our Freedoms
TIME Magazine’s cringy “HER MOMENT” cover only lacks a crown or better yet, halo adorning Kamala Harris’s head. She may be the Second Coming for Democrats who said no to voters who cast their ballot for Joe Biden, but for America? Not even close.
The smiles come back now that Democrat voters are denied their freedom to choose*
Walz can teach Harris a few tricks about taking away freedom
I remember the day my state’s fat cat billionaire governor announced his COVID-19 lockdown. We knew it was coming, but it was still a shock when liberal Democrat JB Pritzker abruptly revoked freedoms we took for granted. He ordered that “all individuals must stay at home” and that businesses judged non-essential by his weaponized state “must cease.”495
Those of us not cowering in fear from the virus asked how this draconian denial of freedom could possibly be? The Democrat hive mind obliterated everything we thought America stood for. Businesses were shuttered. Schools closed. Mandatory quarantines were enforced. Restaurants disppeared. The constitutional freedom of movement was restricted. Meanwhile, tax-generating, public sedating weed shops and liquor stores welcomed customers, open and unscathed.
Online information that didn’t align with Biden-Harris “get the shot and you won’t get COVID” public health disinformation campaign was censored as the left luxuriated in this new excuse to wage war against the First Amendment.
Americans discovered for the first time that our fundamental freedoms are not a right. They are a privilege Democrats can take away at will.
Harris running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz followed Pritzker’s lead a week after Illinois residents became hostages of the state:
Beginning on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 11:59 pm through Friday, April 10, 2020 at 5:00 pm, all persons currently living within the State of Minnesota are ordered to stay home or in their place of residence except to engage in the Activities and Critical Sector work set forth below in Paragraphs 5 and 6.496
Walz was also at the epicenter of the George Floyd riots. He learned that the peaceful protest label protected a multitude of crimes, a lesson not lost as hateful anti-Jewish protests broke out after the October 7 attack on Israel. With the fires in Minneapolis long extinguished and the White House in his sights, he explains what “freedom” means to the Harris-Walz campaign:
So, when our next president walks out here and she talks about freedom, she means the freedom to make your own health care decisions. (Applause.)497
The governor has a short memory for COVID-era vaccine mandates that the Biden-Harris administration used to threaten jobs during the pandemic downturn:
Some of the — some of the gray-hairs in here remember a Republican Party that used to actually talk about freedom. These guys, when they talk about freedom, it means the government has the freedom to invade your exam room with your doctor.498
Is gray-hairs a new identity politics bucket?
More important, why do Harris and Walz believe that freedom means killing American babies while incentivizing illegals to bear new birthright citizens at taxpayer expense to take their place? Because freedom does not mean what we thought. It means whatever Democrats need it to mean to get elected.
Harris and Walz promote their new freedoms with lies
We gray-hairs remember a time when restricting our freedom of movement, censorship, weaponizing federal agencies to serve the ruling political party, and denying Americans the right to choose our candidate for president were unthinkable affronts to constitutionally-guaranteed liberties. Now they are endorsed by Harris, Walz, Biden, and the Democrat Party machine.
This is what happened when I suggested that Democrats incite violence
Lying to voters about freedom does not make us free. It’s a strategy that takes away freedom by luring the electorate into making baseless choices at the ballot box.
In apparent fear of revealing a platform and policies so radical that even liberal voters will run away, voters get lies and empty platitudes from the Harris-Walz campaign. Kamala cackles away her refusal to protect America’s border from violent illegals and brushes aside a history of lending financial support to violent protesters with a bail fund in her running mate’s state. Instead, she claims to oppose political violence because freedom demands it:
And it’s a place where we know freedom means we settle our political differences not through violence but with our votes. (Applause.)499
Supporting the George Floyd riot anarchy was so successful that Democrats applied the same “peaceful protest” label to antisemitic, pro-terror protests that denied Jewish college students the freedom to leave their dorm rooms out of fear for their safety. Instead of stepping up and defending that freedom, the Biden-Harris administration pandered to hate by refusing to denounce the protests when Michigan votes were threatened.
We’ll find out how much tolerance the DNC has for these peaceful protests when pro-Hamas agitators cause trouble at the party’s convention in Chicago next week.
Harris and Walz confuse their radical policies with the real freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution:
Across our nation, we are witnessing a full-on attack on hard-fought, hard-won fundamental freedoms and rights, and we will not stand for it. (Applause.) Attacks on the freedom to vote, attacks on the freedom to be safe from gun violence, the freedom to breathe clean air and drink clean water, the freedom to love who you love openly and with pride — (applause) — and the freedom of a woman to make decisions about her own body and not have her government tell her what to do. (Applause.)500
Attacks on the freedom to vote mean refusing to protect the sanctity of the ballot from illegal voting and fraud. Clean air and water, LGBTQwhatever rights, and abortion are liberal policy initiatives. They are not freedoms protected by our Constitution that Democrats take away when it suits them.
Freedom from gun violence? Ask the families of victims in Chicago and other blue cities how Democrat rule shields them from bullets.
Harris doesn’t like the government telling us what to do?
Less than brilliant people have a habit of arrogantly underestimating the intelligence of others. That might explain how Harris expects us to gulp down a bald-faced lie like this after her party’s tyrannical COVID free-for-all and abrupt cancellation of Joe Biden’s reelections plans:
We want to recognize the right all people have to freedom and liberty, to make choices — especially those that are about heart and home — and not have their government telling them what to do. (Applause.)501
Unlike Republicans who don’t seem to learn from loss after loss and defeat after defeat at the hands of their Democrat betters, our ruling left-wing elites learn very quickly. The threat of COVID is largely over not because the disease is gone, in fact it’s surging in some parts of the country, but because the lies and disinformation Democrats and our president spread to keep their gullible base in fear is too damning to keep alive.
That’s where Trump comes in.
Trump is the new COVID and a great excuse to take away your freedoms
Fortunately for the 2024 election, Democrats have Donald Trump to replace their COVID fear-mongering. In the absence of a platform, policy proposals, or anything to sell voters except illegal immigrants and baby killing, Kamala Harris and her radical new sidekick threaten us with the past. Walz warns about “Donald Trump taking us backwards,” adding:
He’s not fighting for you. He doesn’t know you. He doesn’t care about your family. And his running mate is just as dangerous and backward as he is.502
Harris agrees and supports the threat with her pervasive lies that her opponent is responsible for abortion bans and Project 2025:
And, look, as we move our nation forward, Donald Trump intends to take our nation backward. Just look at his Project 2025 agenda — Project 2025.503
If lies don’t succeed, there is always hypocrisy:
Our campaign is about saying we trust the people, we see the people, we know the people. You know one of the things I love about our country? We are a nation of people who believe in those ideals that were foundational to what made us so special as a nation. We believe in those ideals.504
Trust the people to vote for the presidential candidate of their choosing?
Trust the people to believe lies like the absurd notion that the Harris-Walz ticket supports any of this hyperbolic nonsense?
Harris offers Americans a choice:
A country of freedom, compassion, and rule of law or a country of chaos, fear, and hate?505
I prefer the former and so does Donald Trump. Harris already helped the president enforce the latter and Walz is the perfect choice to help her get the job done. Backwards is not always a bad thing, especially when it protects freedoms this pair will take away the moment they gain control of the White House.

People do not understand how the Democrats and the Obama administration are slowly strangling the very freedoms that the Revolution was fought for. The facts are clear when you see the Constitution being trampled on by Obama, and then realize that he could not pass a gun owner background check, which is why he has sealed “ALL” of his records.
If congress were to pass any new legislation on background checking it must include the requirement that “ALL” politicians running for public office must “PASS” those requirements or be disqualified.
As it stands right now, Obama could not ” PASS” a standard FBI check from the details that were written in his book, which is why his certification was challenged. The judges that had cases before them refused to hear the arguments and thusly dismissed those cases. What gutless wonders we have in the justice system including the Supreme Court.
Obama is tearing our nation apart. and he is banking on the ignorant that don’t pay attention. obama has a shady past and i am not convinced that he is a true citizen of the united states. If you vote democrat you are voting to end america as a freedom country. Obama is taking it all away and people are not paying attention. when it’s gone and you are under the control of a dictator you will wish you had paid attention. but this country has been under attack before obama but now it’s speeded up so much it will be a miracle if we can keep it
We’ll find out next week how well people are paying attention, won’t we, Sandy? I agree, it’s pretty amazing that no matter how bad things are or how misguided the actions of public officials, they still manage to convince people to support what they do. Watch what happens in the Illinois governor’s race next week. If Pat Quinn wins, it’s a pretty good sign that we are truly lost.
freedom from harm is not a reasonable freedom. Freedom from unjust aggression is reasonable, and the primary reason for government.

Interesting how some of what’s happening now at the hands of government could be considered unjust aggression, like the searches they conducted in Rhode Island looking for New Yorkers. It’s difficult to know where to draw the line between government overreach and the public interest, but that was quite a line to cross.

I don’t know if the intention was to turn lies into the sole means of communicating with the people to the complete exclusion of the truth, but it has certainly paid off for Democrats and the White House.
