Fourth of July 2024: Democrats celebrate freedom by eating their own
Disenfranchising Trump voters came first. Conniving state-level Democrats tried to ban him from their primary ballots. They failed. Then our Bidenized judicial system conspired to crush the president’s challenger with cases in New York and Georgia and a federal classified documents suit that showed Americans justice is only blind when it comes to Democrats.
The problem with these contrived roadblocks to a second Trump term is that despite conservative cynicism, the system worked. Sentencing is delayed in New York, the Georgia case is falling apart because of DA Fani Willis, and the Supreme Court just handed Jack Smith a decision on presidential immunity that infuriates Democrats who hate the freedom created by a third branch of government they don’t control.
Raskin talks assassination and military coups
Russia collusion hoaxer and seething Trump hater Jamie Raskin (D-MD) called the SCOTUS decision in Trump v. United States “horrific.” He postulated threats that epitomize his party’s insane hatred for the Republican candidate and sound like a warning about what comes next. Is Raskin telling on his party’s next move?
Today’s ruling, postponing any prosecution of Trump until after the election and holding that Presidents are presumptively immune from criminal prosecution for using their office to assassinate political rivals, organize a military coup, or take bribes, is a radical break from the rule of law which underscores how much our democratic values have been eroded and are on the line in November.492
Democrat, not democratic values are on the line in November
Power-hungry authoritarian Democrats are so determined to stamp out opposing viewpoints and destroy any political opposition that they are blind to the fact that they are what they threaten.
Having failed to disenfranchise Republican voters, Democrats are turning their sights on a president they shielded from scrutiny until his obvious physical and mental decline became so glaring during last week’s Biden-Trump debate that they brushed hubris aside and began to admit their control of the White House is in danger.
The solution? Take freedom away from Democrat voters.
Biden already boasts nearly 4,000 delegates. Primary season is waning. The DNC convention is six weeks away. Democrat governors will consult with the president today. They have every reason to be very afraid as their hopes of a gravy train courtesy of a Democrat Congress and White House vanish.
Americans hurt by the president’s policies and Bidenomics economy see the extent of this deception and are not happy. Biden’s polling is abysmal. The White House’s stubborn refusal to deny what we clearly see doesn’t help and yet Karine Jean-Pierre continued to push the cold and a bad night narrative yesterday while Democrats like Texas Rep. Lloyd Doggett began to scurry off this sinking ship:
Well, what I can tell you is that he had a cold and a bad night. I would not see this as an episode. I would see this as what it was and what we believe it to be, which is: It was a bad night. And he did — on top of that, he had a cold. And that is the reality of the situation. That is the reality of what happened that night.493
As America celebrates Independence Day, it’s impossible to ignore the extremity of Democrat Party efforts to destroy everything the Fourth of July represents. They tried to disenfranchise Republican voters by taking away our freedom to choose our party’s candidate, pushed contrived legal challenges to hamstring Trump and better yet, send him to jail. Failing that, they have turned on the man career Democrat hacks like Steny Hoyer (D-MD) promised is “on top of his game”494 because at long last their lies can no longer be ignored and their power is in jeopardy.
The solution? Democrats will eat their base, or least give it their best shot. What they have done to destroy our country by enabling Joe Biden already proved beyond any doubt that they do not care about voters who aren’t big money liberal donors. If that means denying the faithful a voice in this election and swapping in a candidate to preserve their control of the presidency, that is what will happen.
When that decision is made, I can hardly wait to hear their explanation for why Kamala Harris is not running for president.

People do not understand how the Democrats and the Obama administration are slowly strangling the very freedoms that the Revolution was fought for. The facts are clear when you see the Constitution being trampled on by Obama, and then realize that he could not pass a gun owner background check, which is why he has sealed “ALL” of his records.
If congress were to pass any new legislation on background checking it must include the requirement that “ALL” politicians running for public office must “PASS” those requirements or be disqualified.
As it stands right now, Obama could not ” PASS” a standard FBI check from the details that were written in his book, which is why his certification was challenged. The judges that had cases before them refused to hear the arguments and thusly dismissed those cases. What gutless wonders we have in the justice system including the Supreme Court.
Obama is tearing our nation apart. and he is banking on the ignorant that don’t pay attention. obama has a shady past and i am not convinced that he is a true citizen of the united states. If you vote democrat you are voting to end america as a freedom country. Obama is taking it all away and people are not paying attention. when it’s gone and you are under the control of a dictator you will wish you had paid attention. but this country has been under attack before obama but now it’s speeded up so much it will be a miracle if we can keep it
We’ll find out next week how well people are paying attention, won’t we, Sandy? I agree, it’s pretty amazing that no matter how bad things are or how misguided the actions of public officials, they still manage to convince people to support what they do. Watch what happens in the Illinois governor’s race next week. If Pat Quinn wins, it’s a pretty good sign that we are truly lost.
freedom from harm is not a reasonable freedom. Freedom from unjust aggression is reasonable, and the primary reason for government.
Thanks for your remarks, Ed. Interesting how some of what’s happening now at the hands of government could be considered unjust aggression, like the searches they conducted in Rhode Island looking for New Yorkers. It’s difficult to know where to draw the line between government overreach and the public interest, but that was quite a line to cross.

I don’t know if the intention was to turn lies into the sole means of communicating with the people to the complete exclusion of the truth, but it has certainly paid off for Democrats and the White House.
