Harris Rescues Freedom and Democracy from Donald Trump
Vice President Kamala Harris gets a lot of flak. Our left-wing media still adores Biden’s backup, but her cackling, incomprehensible ramblings and general refusal to do anything worthwhile like fixing the border crisis she is in charge of makes the VP an easy target for criticism and derision.
It’s not about racism. It’s not about misogyny. It’s about Harris. Anyone not in the thrall of the Democrat Party sees it every time she risks a public appearance and makes the mistake of opening her mouth.
I’m writing this to tell you we might have been wrong about Kamala.
Is Harris America’s preeminent defender of freedom and democracy?
Is Harris a White House turncoat? Who would have imagined that our vice president is the one to promote freedom and democracy while the Biden Banana Republic’s weaponized justice system tries to win the 2024 election without the pesky interference of voters?
She reminds us that we can’t take our eyes off what matters:
But, you know, the thing about a democracy that is founded on the notion of individual rights and liberties and freedoms is that we got to fight and be vigilant to maintain those rights and freedoms. Right?488
Thank heavens we have Harris to explain the importance of freedom:
Freedom is fundamental to the promise of America. When we talk about the promise of America, foundationally, we believe in freedom. We know that the strength of our nation has been a function of many things, including our commitment to the expansion of rights.489
Defending freedom means protecting us from democracy in our states:
Let’s be clear, then, that when he [Donald Trump] sits back and most recently says, “Well, I believe that the states should make these decisions,” he says — right? Okay. So, you believe that the states have a right to reinstate laws from the 1800s to criminalize healthcare providers, to provide up to prison for life, no exception for crimes of violence to someone’s body.490
That’s what the Supreme Court decided in Dobbs, but we’re talking about rescuing freedom and democracy, so partisan inconveniences like the Constitution’s separation of powers must be set aside. Like Joe’s student loan bailout, there is a time when a higher purpose like protecting democracy from Donald Trump takes precedence:
So, let’s all be clear: What we are seeing in these states that we are talking about are Trump abortion bans, and he can’t get away from that. Those are Trump abortion bans.491
It’s frightening to think that one man is so powerful he can control legislation in our states without holding any political office. At least we can rely on Harris, Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, Fani Willis, Biden, and AG Merrick Garland to save us from a right winger so extreme, so opposed to democracy that he agrees with the Supreme Court that we should leave it to voters to decide about abortion in their states. Surely, his vision for America can’t possibly be what freedom and democracy are all about.
It’s a sad state of affairs when Americans support a candidate who openly takes the dangerous, anti-democratic stance that the people should have a say because our highest court says so. I do have one question for the vice president, though. If democracy depends on ignoring the separation of powers, taking the decision on abortion away from voters, ignoring a Supreme Court decision, and promoting a federal mandate allowing Americans to kill their babies at will anytime and anywhere for any reason, how come Harris and Biden leave the decision on who wins the 2024 presidential election to state and local courts instead relying on federal election laws?

People do not understand how the Democrats and the Obama administration are slowly strangling the very freedoms that the Revolution was fought for. The facts are clear when you see the Constitution being trampled on by Obama, and then realize that he could not pass a gun owner background check, which is why he has sealed “ALL” of his records.
If congress were to pass any new legislation on background checking it must include the requirement that “ALL” politicians running for public office must “PASS” those requirements or be disqualified.
As it stands right now, Obama could not ” PASS” a standard FBI check from the details that were written in his book, which is why his certification was challenged. The judges that had cases before them refused to hear the arguments and thusly dismissed those cases. What gutless wonders we have in the justice system including the Supreme Court.

Obama is tearing our nation apart. and he is banking on the ignorant that don’t pay attention. obama has a shady past and i am not convinced that he is a true citizen of the united states. If you vote democrat you are voting to end america as a freedom country. Obama is taking it all away and people are not paying attention. when it’s gone and you are under the control of a dictator you will wish you had paid attention. but this country has been under attack before obama but now it’s speeded up so much it will be a miracle if we can keep it
Bob says
We’ll find out next week how well people are paying attention, won’t we, Sandy? I agree, it’s pretty amazing that no matter how bad things are or how misguided the actions of public officials, they still manage to convince people to support what they do. Watch what happens in the Illinois governor’s race next week. If Pat Quinn wins, it’s a pretty good sign that we are truly lost.

freedom from harm is not a reasonable freedom. Freedom from unjust aggression is reasonable, and the primary reason for government.
Bob Prokop says
Thanks for your remarks, Ed. Interesting how some of what’s happening now at the hands of government could be considered unjust aggression, like the searches they conducted in Rhode Island looking for New Yorkers. It’s difficult to know where to draw the line between government overreach and the public interest, but that was quite a line to cross.

Obama signed a bill to allow the media to profess false narratives for the peoples ow good HR4310

Joseph Goebbels would be so proud.
Bob Prokop says
I don’t know if the intention was to turn lies into the sole means of communicating with the people to the complete exclusion of the truth, but it has certainly paid off for Democrats and the White House.
John Ille says
Wow, the RWNJ is strong with this one.
Bob Prokop says
I’m listening, John.
