November 6, 2023:
Democrats demand that we use aid to Israel to take away your freedom. You will never guess the reason.
There is a famous line in the film The Road Warrior about what happens when you make a deal with someone who dies: the deal dies with them.
Democrats forgot about this when they helped a handful of their GOP colleagues oust House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Now they demand Republicans honor a deal on spending bills that died when they kicked McCarthy out:
So, we ask the Republicans to adhere to the deal that then Speaker McCarthy and President Biden negotiated that was literally signed into law and to pass appropriations bills in line with those agreements.432
Too late.
In a November 2, 2023 press release, Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-CA) and Vice Chair Ted Lieu (D-CA) stumped for more spending, angry that our new speaker is holding their feet to the fire.
Pretending ignorance about President Biden’s efforts to undermine American strength because pandering to the destructive whims of the radical left is more important to his fading political future, the pair warn:
America’s leadership on the world stage is being threatened.433
Do they think this just happened? Did the DNC send them a memo?
Aguilar adds:
I wanted to say that House Democrats are committed to defending democracy abroad and standing shoulder-to-shoulder with our allies.434
Some Democrats are. Some are not. Their president’s pandering to radicals who hate Israel and the Democrat Party’s tolerance for antisemitism and pro-terror propaganda from the ranks mocks their level of commitment.
Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) goes so far as to accuse Republicans of endangering our national security:
We should not play partisan political games with America’s national security. We should not play partisan political games in the context of the special relationship between the United States and Israel.435
If Jeffries is worried about endangering national security, he should visit his president’s southern border.
Why funding aid to Israel is so import to Democrats
Aguilar and Lieu unwittingly admit why funding for Israel is so important to their party’s conflicted Middle East agenda. It has less to do with Israel than targeting the financial freedom of Americans Democrat orthodoxy insists are tax cheats.
Washington’s insatiably greedy left is incensed by Speaker Johnson’s effort to rein in spending by denying more tax money to weaponize the IRS:
This time they’re seeking to condition life-saving aid to Israel for the sole purpose of making it easier for billionaires to cheat on their taxes.436
Raped women, butchered children, and families burned alive are no match for Democrat efforts to root out tax cheats
After acknowledging “Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and butchered children, raped women and burned entire families alive,” Lieu justified his no vote to the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act because of “arbitrary cuts to the IRS’ tax evasion enforcement efforts.”437
There is nothing arbitrary about genocidal human slaughter. Searching for criminal tax evaders can wait and if it can’t, Democrats can start with the president’s son.
Wealthy? Prove your freedom is not cheating the Democrat Party out of spending money.
Not only do Democrats suggest that we audit more Americans to prove compliance, which is an invasion of freedom by itself, they also declare Americans guilty of criminal behavior in lieu of any evidence, due process, or legal proceedings. If you are wealthy, you are cheating their party out of spending money unless and until you prove otherwise.
If you are a wealthy Democrat donor below the level of a Sam Bankman-Fried, you likely have less to worry about. If you are a Republican and especially a Trump supporter, look out.
What do taxes, Israel, and Biden ‘s AI order have in common? Your financial freedom.
This week we learned that do-nothing Border Czar Kamala Harris is tasked to fail at overseeing the administration’s AI strategy. If the border is any example, this is good news. We can rely on the vice president to do nothing. The bad news is the reason Biden’s move to harness AI is suddenly so important.
Could this have something to do with Lieu’s parallel threat of tax cheats? The congressman’s press release about funding aid to Israel also applauds Biden’s AI order:
Second, I want to mention, a thing I want to mention, is that on Monday, the Biden-Harris Administration issued a sweeping Executive Order on artificial intelligence. I commend the Administration for issuing this order. It has a number of elements that I and many other Members of Congress asked for.438
The congressman warns of “billionaire tax cheats” without naming names when he voted down helping Israel because of IRS funding. He neglects to mention what the IRS plans to do with AI:
Recently, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced that they will launch a “sweeping, historic” tax enforcement initiative incorporating AI technology to allege “unpaid taxes” and seize money from American individuals and companies.439
Not only will AI make it easier to go after those unindicted tax cheats, it offers limitless opportunities to interfere with the financial lives of those of us who don’t make enough money to be targeted as billionaire criminals by the Democrat Party. Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) warns:
Recently, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced that they will launch a “sweeping, historic” tax enforcement initiative incorporating AI technology to allege “unpaid taxes” and seize money from American individuals and companies.440
Audits are just the start of what this technology is capable of:
In addition to using AI to act as a massive enforcement machine that continuously monitors all financial transactions, the IRS stated that an element of the new AI initiative includes monitoring and investigating digital assets. This would target taxpayers involved in digital currency transactions as well as traditional currency movement.441
According to Patrick Gaspard, president of the liberal Center for American Progress, AI is an opportunity for the government to enforce the tax code and address our estimated $7 trillion tax gap.442 AI can also render as many as 20,000 tax agents and examiners obsolete443 as intelligent technology replaces their expensive, labor-intensive skills. Democrats like nothing better than to hire government workers, so it’s best to dedicate appropriations money to hiring now so they can blame Republicans later for threatening mission critical IRS jobs like sweeping the dust from shiny new AI audit servers.
Conditioning aid to Israel on turning more Americans into criminals and finding new ways to take away our freedom by scrutinizing financial transactions in hopes of further weaponizing the tax code is an unpardonable insult to our ally and a dire threat to the vanishing freedom of the individual in America.
With Joe Biden’s generous assistance, Democrats have worked tirelessly to further weaponize the government while engaging in historic abuses of federal power to threaten, target, intimidate, harass, and criminally charge political opponents and a former president while holding themselves above the law.
These are not the politicians we want in charge of AI at the IRS. The Democrat strategy to hold aid for Israel’s war against genocidal terrorism hostage with an AI-driven attack on the freedom of American taxpayers is a new low for an increasingly hostile party ready to impose a radical, anti-freedom monetary agenda.

People do not understand how the Democrats and the Obama administration are slowly strangling the very freedoms that the Revolution was fought for. The facts are clear when you see the Constitution being trampled on by Obama, and then realize that he could not pass a gun owner background check, which is why he has sealed “ALL” of his records.
If congress were to pass any new legislation on background checking it must include the requirement that “ALL” politicians running for public office must “PASS” those requirements or be disqualified.
As it stands right now, Obama could not ” PASS” a standard FBI check from the details that were written in his book, which is why his certification was challenged. The judges that had cases before them refused to hear the arguments and thusly dismissed those cases. What gutless wonders we have in the justice system including the Supreme Court.
Obama is tearing our nation apart. and he is banking on the ignorant that don’t pay attention. obama has a shady past and i am not convinced that he is a true citizen of the united states. If you vote democrat you are voting to end america as a freedom country. Obama is taking it all away and people are not paying attention. when it’s gone and you are under the control of a dictator you will wish you had paid attention. but this country has been under attack before obama but now it’s speeded up so much it will be a miracle if we can keep it
We’ll find out next week how well people are paying attention, won’t we, Sandy? I agree, it’s pretty amazing that no matter how bad things are or how misguided the actions of public officials, they still manage to convince people to support what they do. Watch what happens in the Illinois governor’s race next week. If Pat Quinn wins, it’s a pretty good sign that we are truly lost.
freedom from harm is not a reasonable freedom. Freedom from unjust aggression is reasonable, and the primary reason for government.
Thanks for your remarks, Ed. Interesting how some of what’s happening now at the hands of government could be considered unjust aggression, like the searches they conducted in Rhode Island looking for New Yorkers. It’s difficult to know where to draw the line between government overreach and the public interest, but that was quite a line to cross.

I don’t know if the intention was to turn lies into the sole means of communicating with the people to the complete exclusion of the truth, but it has certainly paid off for Democrats and the White House.
