22 years after the Twin Towers fell, our battle for American freedom has a new enemy: our government.
On today’s 22nd Anniversary of the September 11th attacks, those of us who remember that terrible morning also remember how it brought us together. Suddenly, we were all Americans again. We drew together after extremists declared we were evil and had no right to exist as the greatest, most freedom-loving nation on earth.
We still hear that argument from foreign governments and terror groups today. We also hear it from our political left. Radical Democrats and extremist activists accuse America of everything from precipitating climate Armageddon to profiting from capitalist white supremacy at the expense of racial minorities and the underprivileged. Our past demands reparations for our sins. Our present requires a new war on terror with a new target.
President Biden chose to be the mouthpiece for these anti-American extremists and he had the power to do something about it.
Two wars on terror. One makes Americans the terror threat.
After 9/11 President George W. Bush announced the start of America’s War on Terror:
The attack took place on American soil, but it was an attack on the heart and soul of the civilized world. And the world has come together to fight a new and different war, the first, and we hope the only one, of the 21st century. A war against all those who seek to export terror, and a war against those governments that support or shelter them.410
Bush declared:
Our war on terror begins with al Qaeda, but it does not end there. It will not end until every terrorist group of global reach has been found, stopped and defeated.411
That war has not ended. Neither has the loss of American life during foreign wars overseas and from isolated terror attacks here at home in the years after the Twin Towers fell.
Our precipitous exit from Afghanistan and the White House open border agenda ignore what we learned from September 11. Instead, radical political opportunists are pursuing a new, partisan war on terror against a new enemy: Americans who disagree with the government.
White House declares a new war on the freedom to be American
Joe Biden’s presidency was the beginning of the war on our freedom to be Americans:
You know, as a result, our very own intelligence agencies — our own intelligence agencies in the United States of America have determined that domestic terrorism rooted in white supremacy is the greatest terrorist threat to our Homeland today.
I’ve been around a while. I never thought I’d hear that or say that.412
Neither did we. Like Bush’s war on foreign terror, Biden announced the start of this battle against ourselves:
My first day in office, I directed my national security and homeland security team to develop a first-ever national strategy for countering domestic terrorism.413
Despite the lessons learned from the Americans we lost on September 11 and during foreign incursions and wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, foreign nationals from every corner of the globe, including those on the terror watch list, now trespass America’s southern border because our president deemed America unworthy of sovereignty. Instead, the White House war on terror focused on political opponents with censorship, threats, and weaponized federal agencies determined to suppress dissent.
After creating the threat posed by our fellow Americans on Day One in the Oval Office, Biden called out the enemy. On September 1, 2022, just days after he accused Republicans of semi-fascism and flanked by the miliary against a blood red background, the president delivered his shockingly divisive Continued Battle for the Soul of the Nation address:
Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.414
The battle for the freedom to be American transitioned to the battle to be the right kind of American, a loyal citizen with beliefs not considered a threat to the hegemony of our radicalized Democrat Party.
Biden’s war on terror is a greater threat to our freedom than foreign extremists
The new war on terror is a greater threat to our freedom than what happened on that September Tuesday. On 9/11 we were all Americans. The day President Biden delivered his Soul of America speech we became a nation divided into the good political left and conservative enemies of the state, dangerous white supremacist terrorists waiting for Donald Trump to issue our marching orders.
President Biden made our government the greatest threat to the freedom to be American. His denial of our freedom to believe what we choose free of condemnation and our weaponized justice system’s attack on the basic American freedom to vote for political candidates of our choosing threaten the lesson from 9/11 we can never afford to forget. Wnen we are one America, no one can take away our most important freedom: the right to be who and what we choose.

People do not understand how the Democrats and the Obama administration are slowly strangling the very freedoms that the Revolution was fought for. The facts are clear when you see the Constitution being trampled on by Obama, and then realize that he could not pass a gun owner background check, which is why he has sealed “ALL” of his records.
If congress were to pass any new legislation on background checking it must include the requirement that “ALL” politicians running for public office must “PASS” those requirements or be disqualified.
As it stands right now, Obama could not ” PASS” a standard FBI check from the details that were written in his book, which is why his certification was challenged. The judges that had cases before them refused to hear the arguments and thusly dismissed those cases. What gutless wonders we have in the justice system including the Supreme Court.

Obama is tearing our nation apart. and he is banking on the ignorant that don’t pay attention. obama has a shady past and i am not convinced that he is a true citizen of the united states. If you vote democrat you are voting to end america as a freedom country. Obama is taking it all away and people are not paying attention. when it’s gone and you are under the control of a dictator you will wish you had paid attention. but this country has been under attack before obama but now it’s speeded up so much it will be a miracle if we can keep it
Bob says
We’ll find out next week how well people are paying attention, won’t we, Sandy? I agree, it’s pretty amazing that no matter how bad things are or how misguided the actions of public officials, they still manage to convince people to support what they do. Watch what happens in the Illinois governor’s race next week. If Pat Quinn wins, it’s a pretty good sign that we are truly lost.

freedom from harm is not a reasonable freedom. Freedom from unjust aggression is reasonable, and the primary reason for government.
Bob Prokop says
Thanks for your remarks, Ed. Interesting how some of what’s happening now at the hands of government could be considered unjust aggression, like the searches they conducted in Rhode Island looking for New Yorkers. It’s difficult to know where to draw the line between government overreach and the public interest, but that was quite a line to cross.

I don’t know if the intention was to turn lies into the sole means of communicating with the people to the complete exclusion of the truth, but it has certainly paid off for Democrats and the White House.

Wow, the RWNJ is strong with this one.

I’m listening, John.
