Cancel culture won: today, your freedom ends in a Georgia jail.
Who would have predicted that the man whose Operation Warp Speed developed the COVID-19 vaccines so beloved as a political weapon by authoritarian Democrats would also prove to be the instrument of cancel culture’s final victory over freedom in America?
Pandemic lies, lockdowns, and censorship were the left’s proving ground.
The pandemic taught the left how to cancel, censor, and punish anyone who disagreed with its contrived and politicized, anti-freedom public health orthodoxy and the unprecedented regulations, restrictions, and punishments doled out by leftist politicians testing the limits of our freedom.
When we needed our best and brightest scientific minds, only those who backed the party line were permitted to voice their opinions. The rest were cancelled, damned, and denounced as traitors to the cause of saving Americans from COVID. Science lost. So did our liberty. Under threat of law and job loss, Americans were forced to wear masks, stay home, watch their kids get stupid, and accept a vaccine the Biden administration repeatedly lied about.
It didn’t end with the virus. COVID was just a test, a proving ground. Religious intolerance, gender insanity, climate hysteria, and race baiting were ready and waiting to take over. Worse, America’s president went full-on dictator, accusing Republicans of semi-fascism. Biden laid down the gauntlet and targeted America’s enemy in a hate-laced, prime-time televised “Continued Battle for Soul of the Nation” speech:
Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.403
In case we didn’t fully understand the threat:
But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.404
America had its target. Now it was time for Democrats across the nation to act.
After nearly 250 years of Americans striving to make America great, Joe Biden successfully turned MAGA into a hateful moniker that covered for his whole-of-government attack on our country. Anti-freedom liberals in our federal, state, and local governments, media, and tech sectors understood that the only way to create a future where they could plunder our nation at the expense of the governed was to cancel conservatives. That meant getting rid of Trump.
A casualty of war
Democrats searched the depths of their trick bag to accomplish this final victory over America. Hillary Clinton’s Steele Dossier and Trump Russia collusion hoax paved the way. Two sham impeachments, a televised Democrat Party January 6 Kangaroo Court that took facts out of context to reach a conclusion decided long before the proceedings got underway, and our president’s serial lies and propaganda continued to test our tolerance for giving up our freedom to govern.
Too many of us gulped the left’s Kool-Aid without hesitation. In lieu of ethical, legitimate governance from our justice and security agencies, America was found vulnerable. Leftists at every level of government seized their advantage.
Despite the Democrat Party’s storied history of election denials, only Donald Trump was charged by the Biden-Garland weaponized Department of Justice for free speech crimes. He was prosecuted for classified documents Biden was held blameless for and attacked in New York with a contrived indictment over business records. Finally, a Fulton County, Georgia DA levied racketeering charges again the former president and 18 others. The message was clear: get involved with Trump and we will hurt you. Be Trump and we will throw away the key.
There is no question where these indictments are headed or why they were brought in their respective Democrat jurisdictions. With equal justice and the rule of law dead thanks to our president and weaponized federal agencies determined to entrench the Democratic Party in perpetuity, jailing Trump and anyone in his circle while sparing Joe Biden are the final battlegrounds for American freedom.
Freedom lost the battle: the war to preserve our liberty will end pathetically today in a Georgia jail.
Today Donald Trump will be booked like a common criminal in Fulton County, Georgia for political crimes that he would not be charged with if he was a Democrat. This travesty against our fundamental freedom of equal justice under the law will be cancel culture’s final victory and a stain on America from which our country will never recover.
We have no reason to think that Democrats won’t succeed with their multi-faceted, whole-of-government effort to annihilate Donald Trump and his ability to regain the White House and more important, to cancel Americans’ freedom to vote for the candidate of their choice.
While Republicans sit on their hands holding investigations and threatening more fact-finding to come with no end goal or action in sight, our freedom will be stolen by Democrats who successfully used the government owned by we, the people against us.
Get used to your new life in a Banana Republic
When Trump is fingerprinted and photographed in Fulton County today, the freedoms we enjoy as Americans are lost. We will be subjects in a Banana Republic ruled by authoritarian Democrats and a feeble, hateful and likely corrupt and treasonous autocrat who will stop at nothing to destroy his chief political opponent and the values our great nation was founded on.
If Democrats fail to throw Trump in prison before the 2024 election, will voting for this man be declared a crime against the state, perhaps treason or participation in a mass insurrection worthy of criminal punishment? Will we still have the courage to ask for a Republican primary ballot, or will conservatives be driven underground in this new, anti-freedom version of the country we used to love and revere? That’s no longer our decision because our right to have our voice heard is about to be cancelled alongside former president turned Defendant Donald Trump.

People do not understand how the Democrats and the Obama administration are slowly strangling the very freedoms that the Revolution was fought for. The facts are clear when you see the Constitution being trampled on by Obama, and then realize that he could not pass a gun owner background check, which is why he has sealed “ALL” of his records.
If congress were to pass any new legislation on background checking it must include the requirement that “ALL” politicians running for public office must “PASS” those requirements or be disqualified.
As it stands right now, Obama could not ” PASS” a standard FBI check from the details that were written in his book, which is why his certification was challenged. The judges that had cases before them refused to hear the arguments and thusly dismissed those cases. What gutless wonders we have in the justice system including the Supreme Court.
Obama is tearing our nation apart. and he is banking on the ignorant that don’t pay attention. obama has a shady past and i am not convinced that he is a true citizen of the united states. If you vote democrat you are voting to end america as a freedom country. Obama is taking it all away and people are not paying attention. when it’s gone and you are under the control of a dictator you will wish you had paid attention. but this country has been under attack before obama but now it’s speeded up so much it will be a miracle if we can keep it

I agree, it’s pretty amazing that no matter how bad things are or how misguided the actions of public officials, they still manage to convince people to support what they do. Watch what happens in the Illinois governor’s race next week. If Pat Quinn wins, it’s a pretty good sign that we are truly lost.
freedom from harm is not a reasonable freedom. Freedom from unjust aggression is reasonable, and the primary reason for government.

Interesting how some of what’s happening now at the hands of government could be considered unjust aggression, like the searches they conducted in Rhode Island looking for New Yorkers. It’s difficult to know where to draw the line between government overreach and the public interest, but that was quite a line to cross.

I don’t know if the intention was to turn lies into the sole means of communicating with the people to the complete exclusion of the truth, but it has certainly paid off for Democrats and the White House.
