Whether you call it a Big, Ugly Bill or an un-American threat to the common good, if you are a Democrat you are chest-beating, pants soiling livid about what President Trump and the GOP pulled off last week.
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) labeled the BBB a “tax bill,” which is true. It stops the massive tax increase Democrats have been waiting to get their hands on since 2017.
It also funds an end to the suffering and death inflicted by his party’s activist war against our country.
Raskin threatens Trump administration “political authoritarianism and violence against the social contract”1 and hypocritically implies that the common good is what government is about:
Democracies use government as an instrument for the common good.2
Instead of being thought a fool, he eliminates all doubt:
As Independence Day approaches, Trump and his foot soldiers have just passed a law that threatens the lives and liberties of Americans and our pursuit of happiness.3
The congressman doesn’t elaborate who these Trump foot soldiers are, though it’s easy to guess who “our” refers to. It’s not the American people.
We do know who the Democrat Party’s foot soldiers are from the trail of mayhem and violence they leave behind. Assassination attempts, murdered Americans, firebombed car dealerships, terrorized Tesla owners, and antisemitic pro-Hamas terror activism got the chaos started.
Now the left’s strategy is violence against ICE agents who are rounding up illegal immigrant criminals. On Joe Biden’s watch it was easy for Democrats to not protect our citizens from their violent foreign proxies. They sat on their hands, feigned ignorance, told us the border was secure, and held America hostage to their demands for amnesty legislation while illegals murdered and raped and assaulted good, law-abiding people who wondered what happened to the rule of law.

Now violent radicals target the federal workers assigned to enforce our laws while activist lawmakers like Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) publicly accuse them of terrorism for protecting the American lives Democrats stopped caring about long ago.
A Democrat Party weaponized against our nation and citizens is too radical to appeal to the majority of Americans, so in lieu of support lawmakers settle for a simple message we all understand:
Do what we want, or we’ll hurt you.
Fundamentally un-American priorities are Democrat priorities
“Un-American” is this week’s hot button talking point. Democrats will beat this slur to death and spread every false threat they can dream up through their shameless network of complicit, DNC-approved media talking heads.
Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (D-CA) ranted about the president’s One Big Ugly Bill. He called the legislation “fundamentally un-American.” Instead of explaining why, he made promises Democrats failed to make good on when Biden and Harris were in charge:
House Democrats believe that this bill is fundamentally un-American. We are going to fight to make sure billionaires and wealthy corporations pay their fair share, so that we can build an economy that works for everyone. We are going to fight to make America less expensive. And we’re going to fight to give working class people more breathing room and opportunities to get ahead.4
The truth is that both parties like to spend. Wealthy donors get their attention. The difference is not how much. It’s about what. Republicans spend with the intent to make America better for Americans. Democrats spend to reward sacred cows like climate hysterics and illegal immigrants.
Democrats and Republicans also differ on the value of American lives. Trump’s bill pours resources into protecting Americans and removing threats from our country. Democrats hold us hostage to criminal illegals and violent activists. The pointless loss of life is collateral damage they ignore and have no desire to stop until their activist backers get what they want.
Protecting Americans is un-American?
LA Mayor Karen Bass tackled her city’s wildfires in the same fashion Tim Walz (D-MI) dealt with the George Floyd riots. Now she’s calling ICE making her city safer “outrageous and un-American.”
Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro attacked Trump’s bill with the usual tax breaks for the wealthy talking points. He reserved “un-American” to advocate for illegals:
The Supreme Court’s ruling sets the stage for Trump’s attack on birthright citizenship, tearing apart families and communities. It is cruel and un-American. Our constitution makes it clear that people born in this country are citizens.5
In the next breath he admits how many new citizens Democrats anticipate thanks to his party’s invasion of America:
Birthright citizenship was established through the 14th Amendment at the end of the Civil War to overturn the reprehensible Dred Scott decision that denied citizenship to enslaved African Americans born in the United States. If Donald Trump is allowed to undermine this fundamental American principle, I fear millions of children will be born without any citizenship.6
If we end birthright citizenship and send these anchor babies back to wherever their parents came from, they can be citizens where they belong.
Democrats don’t know what un-American means, but we do. Here are 12 examples
Whether or not Democrat Party apparatchiks know what un-American means or whether they were simply instructed by party leaders to repeat the term as many times as possible like the mindless machine they comprise, we the people do know and we don’t like it.
Politicizing the loss of innocent lives like the children dead from the flooding in Kerrville, Texas instead of bringing our people together is un-American.
Making it easy for violent foreign nationals to invade America is un-American.
Encouraging violent radical operatives to attack federal officers and target their families to protect these dangerous illegals is un-American.
Cowering to unfair competition from our trading partners is un-American.
Weakness on the global stage and refusing to defend our country from our adversaries is un-American. So is selling out a cherished ally like Israel.
Repeatedly lying to Americans about policies that impact them like Biden’s open border and the Democrat Party’s phony “Inflation Reduction Act” is un-American.
Making crime less of a crime is un-American.
Racism and ethnic hate is un-American.
Terrorism is un-American.
Socialism is un-American.
Forcing Americans to purchase expensive political priorities like electric cars and then spreading rhetoric that encourages your foot soldiers to terrorize them is un-American.
Attacking a bill that puts more money in the pockets of working families as un-American is un-American and that won’t change no matter how many times you repeat it.
