As I began to write this, the news broke about James Comey’s 86 47 Instagram post and his flippant explanation for what seemed obvious to everyone but him. His disdain for our intelligence is neither new nor unexpected, considering this is the same guy who handed Hillary Clinton an exit from her private email server scandal four months before the 2016 election:
As a result, although the Department of Justice makes final decisions on matters like this, we are expressing to Justice our view that no charges are appropriate in this case.1
Joe Biden also got a pass on his classified documents scandal, his influence peddling scandal, and anything else that threatened his administration. Trump wasn’t so lucky. The FBI descended on his family and home with permission to use deadly force. Contrived lawsuits came out of nowhere. States threatened to remove him from their primary ballots. Congressional lawmakers plotted to deny him security descended if the former president was incarcerated. “Journalists” got the mugshot they wanted. There were two assassination attempts. Nothing worked.
Now Democrats are storming federal facilities under the apparent delusion that unlike Trump they are not subject to our laws. How far can they bend our society’s guardrails to force a response they can propagandize as a Trump Fourth Reich? When you have no regard for American lives stolen by criminal illegal immigrants you welcomed across our border, nothing is off limits.
Whose chaos, fear, and violence is this, anyway?
When voters said no to the 2024 Harris clown show and asked Trump to restore America to greatness, congressional Democrats warned of the consequences:
Donald Trump’s actions during his first two weeks back in office reveal a clear strategy: wield chaos and fear as weapons to dismantle the federal government and auction off its resources to his billionaire friends.2
Meanwhile, the left’s violent foot soldiers spread genuine chaos and fear, setting Tesla dealerships on fire, terrorizing car owners, and vowing support for Middle East terrorists while threatening Jews in an unprecedented display of antisemitic hate that denies everything America stands for and confirms what Democrats stand for.
How did we get here?
Biden’s legacy-defining “Continued Battle for the Soul of the Nation” address staked his party’s brand to anti-Trump hate. The red-drenched, fascistic setting for his anti-MAGA rant was a lot more frightening than anything our former president was accused of. The left gulped it down. The president made it clear that anyone who disagreed was “garbage.”
Now Democrats are back where they started in January 2017. Furious that Trump is behind an Oval Office desk instead of rotting in prison with no protection, Democrats want very badly for this second term to be a political, social, and economic catastrophe. Sinking poll numbers reflect America’s rejection of what they stand for.
Democrats embrace the violent radical nihilism that destroyed their brand
Last week an AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research Poll reported that only one-third of Democrats are “optimistic” about their party’s future.3
Even reliably liberal young people seem disillusioned. The Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politics reports that only 23% view congressional Democrats favorably. 29% have a positive view of Republicans and 31% approve of Trump.4
A nation that values the rule of law, fairness, and equality will never accept policies that protect criminals, promote terrorism, spread racial and ethnic hate, value illegal immigrants more than citizens, and defend men who can only win on the playing field by competing against women, and yet this is what the Democrat Party represents.
Only a complete disavowal of this radical platform has any chance of saving the Democrats. They can admit they were wrong, perhaps issue a national apology modeled on what their politicians say before they are sentenced for corruption. That might work, but instead party members are determined to bring forth the Trump Fourth Reich they promised. That means political violence to incite a reaction to feed the DNC propaganda machine and spread fear of an autocratic government crackdown.
McIver: this is what lawful congressional oversight looks like
Now criminally charged for her role in the New Jersey ICE facility melee, Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) explains why Trump is the one to blame:
Yesterday, at Delaney Hall, I witnessed firsthand the chaos and cruelty that defines the Trump administration’s immigration policy. As we have done before, we went to conduct lawful congressional oversight—to do our jobs and demand answers for our constituents. We were met with contempt, disrespect, and aggression from ICE. From roughing up members of congress to arresting the mayor of our state’s largest city, there is no version of today that does not show the blatant abuses of power of the Trump administration. Americans should be outraged—democracy demands transparency, not fear and force. No agency and no administration should be allowed to operate in darkness.5
The congresswoman also took part in February’s staged Treasury Dept. event with Maxine Waters (D-CA). She offered this foul-mouthed rant:
I came here with one simple message, just like you all: We will not take this s*** [expletive edited] from Donald Trump and Elon Musk. We want you to know we came here for an oversight visit at the building behind us, and they told us we had to have an appointment for our oversight visit. So let’s let them know loud and clear to let us in,” said Rep. McIver “Donald Trump thinks that he is a dictator and we are going to prove him wrong…I want Donald Trump to know this Jersey girl means business. 6
Bennie Thompson (D-MS), who enjoys a preemptive Biden pardon for his leading role in the Democrat Party’s January 6th Kangaroo Court, parroted the Trump-fascism propaganda that helped lose the White House:
ICE needs to keep its hands to itself and treat everyone with respect. They are officers of the law – not Trump’s stormtroopers. If this is how they treat Members of Congress when the cameras are rolling, I can’t imagine what they are doing to our neighbors in the dark of night. More oversight – and more unannounced visits – are clearly urgently needed.
Lastly, the administration must drop any fascist inclinations to arrest members of Congress for simply doing their job. We know there is zero justification for this – and we know this administration’s lies are incessant.7
Are McIver and Thompson so wrapped up in their Hitlerian fantasies that they are unaware the Biden administration secretly flew illegals into our cities in the dark of night and billed the cost to taxpayers, or that their party’s “stormtroopers” raided Mar-a-Lago?
We haven’t seen anything remotely fascistic from Trump, but that doesn’t mean Democrats won’t keep trying to make it happen. They have their sights set on a Fourth Reich and are already screaming about McIver’s indictment.
Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) immediately threatened retaliation with this bellicose statement:
Everyone responsible for this illegitimate abuse of power is going to be held accountable for their actions. An attack on one of us is an attack on the American people. House Democrats will respond vigorously in the days to come at a time, place and manner of our choosing.8
Democrats didn’t object to weaponizing the Federal Government and our judicial system against Trump, but when they aren’t doing the persecuting it’s a problem according to Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ):
The judicial system must reject any attempt to weaponize justice against political opponents — including my colleague, Congresswoman McIver.9
We saw the video. McIver made the poor decision to wear red so she stands out, but like Comey’s excuse and the abundant proof of Biden’s incapacity we are supposed to suspend disbelief and believe what these partisan hacks tell us as the gospel truth.
Speaking of accountability, I have no doubt the congresswoman will escape her criminal charge. Americans who were murdered by Democrats’ criminal illegals are gone forever. Will Jeffries accept accountability for the blood on his hands and the hands of every member of his party?
Sorry, Democrats. Political violence may land you in jail, but it won’t create your Fourth Reich.
Inciting political violence is nothing new to Democrats. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) famously threatened Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh over Dobbs. Like Trump, Kavanaugh escaped an assassin.
Maxine Waters (D-A) urged the faithful to confront Trump officials in public. The party whipped up its violent activist fringe to turn a single 2020 incident in Minneapolis into a nationwide firestorm of rioting, looting, and destruction they called “peaceful protest.” According to RedState, Schumer applied the same label to the “oversight” chaos in New Jersey.10
After the success of the violent Floyd anarchy, Democrats were emboldened to ignore if not downright encourage abandoning the rule of law to achieve their goals. Trump mocks Schumer as a Palestinian for a very good reason: the senator epitomizes the valueless, nihilistic hypocrisy of his radical, neo-Democrat Party.
Anyone smart enough to not vote for Kamala Harris knows that the left’s Trump-Hitler propaganda is a pack of lies. Democrats are persistent, though and their terminal Trump derangement affliction places the most desperate strategies on the table to ensure America is never great again.
While left and right have their own interpretations of what happened in NJ and whether the three lawmakers engaged in violence against ICE officers, what’s more important is the blatant effort to incite a reaction Democrats can propagandize to accuse the Trump administration of fascist, police state tactics that most of us recognize as enforcing the law.
The neo-Democrat Party’s wholesale rejection of the idea that our government exists to protect Americans and implement the will of the people doesn’t open any doors to bring voters back into the liberal fold. How far does the party have to go and how hard do Democrats need to push to earn a response they can use to claim a Trump Fourth Reich?
Like McIver’s actions in New Jersey, Comey’s shells were a test to see what they can get away with. Will the charges against this out-of-control lawmaker be grounds for inciting another outbreak of violence?
