Terror Threat Less Scary Than Washington Politics

Politics is a lot simpler in some countries than in the U.S. In other places, if you take over the government you kill the opposition. If you are feeling generous you put them in prison. When your enemies get the upper hand and return to power, they kill you.

Freedom of Religion Protects Evil Spread by Islam

Is our belief in freedom of religion the reason Western Christians don’t behead Muslims on television? Imagine how Islamic countries would erupt if that kind of spectacle popped up on the evening news.

We don’t see that kind of angry response when Americans are murdered for show.

Nationalism Comes From Patriots, Not Liberal Traitors

Original or not, JFK’s remark in his inaugural address about asking what you can do for your country would be lost on a good portion of Washington.

Crisis for Congress is Jobs, Not a Mideast War
