Chicago and other big cities have a problem. There are fewer and fewer things left on which to levy fees and taxes. Fortunately for illegal immigrants, being short on cash only encourages sanctuary cities to obstruct federal law. Strong words from Attorney General Jeff Sessions during a speech in Sacramento, California won’t matter to public officials who know that illegals work and spend just like citizens. The problem is that isn’t all they do, but criminal immigrants are not a threat we’ll hear much about from big city mayors beholden to the sanctuary movement.
