Helping the poor would be a good thing if we could do it right. Demands to do it wrong makes helping the poor the most dangerous political issue of this election year. It will hurt us not because we are afraid to take a stand against throwing money at poverty, but because we won’t voice outrage at an agenda determined to use the bottom to control the top.

The rule of law has worked its way into the headlines again after the president’s excuse last week that there was only so much he could do on his own to stop deportations. He has already done more than enough with deferred action’s amnesty.

Something stinks in liberal America. The right to vote is shared by rich and poor, but poor people don’t run for public office. Why don’t we see more low income Americans in Congress? Despite their championing of the not so well-to-do, Democratic Party hypocrites help make sure that only those with piles of money can even think about political office.
Are Conservative Politicians Believing Democratic Lies?
If we learned nothing else in 2013, we know now that bipartisanship is worse than gridlock. Conservative politicians helped the White House and Congressional Democrats accomplish bits and pieces of their agenda while the opposition dug in its heels. If that wasn’t enough, RINOs in the Senate gave in on immigration reform, a critical piece of Barack Obama’s legacy.
