The Supreme Court backed the president on Monday, refusing to hear a challenge to California’s law allowing illegal immigrants to pay resident college tuition. California requires students to attend a state high school for at least three years to qualify for the tuition break. The new Illinois DREAM Act has a similar requirement for scholarships. Do state legislators believe that requiring illegals to attend taxpayer supported schools to qualify for additional publicly funded benefits, like resident tuition, somehow makes the giveaways less offensive?
The president is determined to win the fight for amnesty at all costs. The Justice Department made it clear last year what happens to states like Arizona who run afoul of Mr. Obama’s views on immigration. States that entice illegal immigrants are being encouraged with non-enforcement and pro-amnesty rhetoric. States rejecting illegals will be vilified and punished.
Union organizers must have been the inspiration for the White House’s newest strategy, a campaign to win American hearts and minds with government-sponsored community immigration reform roundtables. The Obama administration has produced a toolkit to get things started:
This tool kit will provide resources for you to host a roundtable or conversation in your community to make your voice heard. After you host your roundtable we will review the feedback we receive from your community conversations. [1]
President Obama is offering to send an administration official to your meeting to help out with the discussion:
Host a roundtable in your community – register it at www.whitehouse.gov/immigrationaction and if you’d like someone from the Administration to join, let us know by clicking the box on the form. [2]
When you are finished, there is a feedback form to submit, so you can provide the government with the names and addresses of those with whom you have colluded:
Return: the completed toolkit to us at WhiteHouse.gov/immigrationaction. That way we can share your concerns and successes with the President’s advisors and people that care about fixing our broken immigration system around the country and also keep you in the loop. [3]
To make sure the excitement does not die away after your meeting, the president asks that you list the ways you plan to further the cause:
What are your plans following the event to help make sure people in your community know about the diverse support for immigration reform: [4]
The toolkit asks for “. . . a national conversation about realistic solutions.” [5] Given the talk of legalization and getting right with the law, most of us have figured out what those solutions will be.
Offering to send federal organizers to moderate pro-amnesty meetings is an offensive display, even for this administration. The president is flagrantly encouraging illegal immigration with promises of citizenship, quashing state enforcement efforts while turning a blind eye to giveaways that abuse taxpayer money. Employing union tactics to organize citizens to support overturning laws the Obama administration disagrees with, and using agents of the Federal Government to do the dirty work, is a new low in our nation’s history.

This is the way BHO will become reelected to office in 2012 for he will get the names and addresses of these illegals and get them registered to vote, therefore just think what 12 million votes can do in an election. The taxpayer is doomed in this approach, since it is his tax money that will foot the whole bill (High School, College and votes with welfare included). It certainly looks like we are headed for a train wreck with nothing left for anyone including the illegals. If Obama’s father and mother were never married would that make all of his actions illegal?
